Easy access to spring water. Get a porter guy to help fill up bottles if you have plenty and tip them for their help when youre done. It goes much quicker than doing it all on your own.

This location to some extent is an improvement over the one in Spring Road (next to old age home but at the least the residents will get some peace). Properly built to serve as a water collection point. The waiting times can become a drag but its WATER and we need it. Lights will help as well as more collection points in the City too.

The security can be full of nonsense but other than that no complaints. Good place to go collect spring water in the Southern suburbs of Cape Town.

There is safe off-street parking... There are enough taps but its usually quite busy... Only 25litres to be loaded but no one is counting... There is security for hand sanitizing etc... The water looks clean but not sure if its suitable for drinking...

Newlands spring is relatively quiet these days making it easier to collect water. They have security which allows the system to move much smoother, rather than the people who prefer jumping the queue. The water tastes better than what we have from our taps, but thats my opinion. Each to their own.

This place has been getting more and more full. The queues are back to restriction levels. Not sure whats going on

Choose your times to visit here, and give one of the certified helpers a job to help you and reward them. The little you give for their help puts food in their table at home.

The best WATER for free.... just bring your own containers.... due to Covid-19 protocol.... only half of the water points are running..... that is for the purpose of social distancing.... it can get busy at times.... but still worth it....

I was not very impressed with the way the whole set up is handled why is others allowed to take in more then 25liters containers at a time but we were not i had to go stand in the line 3 times while these car guards just walk in with more then one 25 liters containers something is not right the City of Cape Town must investigate this matter and ensure proper control

Im so tired of seeing people putting their mouths to the taps and not having security doing anything about it. Thats unacceptable behaviour. When the ladies arent sitting at the entrance and the men are there, then no sanitizing takes place. Whos in charge if this venue? They need to wake up and do random checks especially over weekends.

This is the nicest water that our family has ever had. We couldn’t wait to go back again after the lockdown. We like the fact that they also practice social distancing.

Enough parking and social distanceing and the queuing system moves along swiftly because people are only allowed 25 litres at a time.

Loved it - took about 30mins to fill 200 litres of water. Staff super nice.

The water from the old spring was much better as it was excess water from the brewery. The new location does have many more taps and its much faster to get water. Be warned about the guys in the parking, they can be quite instant on helping you. If you fine just tell them and then they tend to leave you alone. Nevertheless watch for the times that they open as the do lock the gates at night.

Fantastic I get 60L twice a month. Its very well sanatized and well controlled.security precence not overpowering very friendly. I have 2 young guys who help me. Babu his nick name shorty and Frankie whom I support. Couldnt think why anyone would want to drink tap water with such a wonderfull sourse on our doorstep
