I phoned Drainmen today to ask them for assistance on a sewer blockage that was overflowing everywhere. I would just like commend them for their superb service, from the person that took my call to the service I received from the team that did the work at my property. Excellent all round. Drainmen Services was QUICK to respond and their services was VERY efficient!

I made an appointment with them to unblock my sewage drain as I was speaking to the manger, I asked him if he could give me a total as to how much everything would cost. He than said it would be R1250 to which I reiterated multiple times if that would be the total price and if there were any hidden fees? He replied no thats itTo my surprise when the people finally arrived I was told that it would be an extra R750 to use acid to unblock my drain and another R750 for them to use any further equipment to do so. I reiterated to the man that I have spoken to his manager and he told me that would be the total price, the guy than told me that management are not able to say how much it is because they are not the people who come and unblock it. Knowing that, Ive been told fibs all this time I told the man that I wont be paying the extra fees and the he should do what he can. I ended up having to pay an extra R15 via EFT to them which they called me countless times saying that I never paid it when I showed them proof and there account number that they printed on an invoice. Honestly your better off unblocking your own drain than trusting theses silver-tongued charlatans to do so.How can you run a business where you are not up front with a customer about pricing when youve been asked multiple times if there is any other fees.

Good professional service. Recommended.In this case there were other costs beyond labour, like camera inspection (essential) and then recommended to do high pressure cleaning. All optional advised extras, so up to you whether to do it or not. Wallet Vs whats essential.

What a pleasure to work with Drainmen, I want to thank Eugene and Liesel for helping during this difficult time, Eugene and his team came to unblock a drain and did a fantastic job, they had all safety measure in place hand sanitizer before and after we had to sign for the paperwork. If only more company can take so much pride in the safety of their customers and employees.
