Amazing service at the hospital in general. Dr Barday is wonderful, explains things simply and listens to concerns with care. As with most hospitals, expect to wait a little longer than your appointment time, however I found the wait much shorter than other practices I have been to.

I specifically booked an appointment with Dr Barday for my adolescent daughter as my prior experience of her has been that she is knowledgable, well-informed and straight-forward. I also chose for my daughter to see her as Dr Barday has a specialisation in Reproductive Health, and my daughters condition is that of a personal, female-specific nature. While I appreciated her insights, I was not at all appreciative of the contents of the referral letter she wrote to the doctor I required a more specialised, second opinion from. I found that the implication that I was seeking further advice was in entire contradiction to Dr Bardays opinion and that labelling me as anxious - when I am simply invested in my daughters emotional and physical well-being - and being told her condition is not as bad as cancer is entirely unacceptable. I dont believe it is in Dr Bardays scope of practice to establish it is her place to comment on my mental state or emotional presentation. I would suggest that Dr Barday perhaps consider patients as individuals and view their conditions within their own context rather than generalise and minimise. Also, it is not in your lane, Dr Barday, to label anyone as anxious. I believe that honour belongs to psychiatrists and not General Practitioners.
