Let me share my story.After being ill for 7 days, coughing mostly with shortness of breath i contacted the Drs office.Spoke to Dr Elsabe and explained how i was feeling and that i was doubly vaccinated for Covid. Also that i was a new Keycare Plus Discovery member and asked of she would see me. Yes she said but i should go for a Covid test first, the long one. Battling to breathe i had it done at a cost of R855. Came back negative. Booked an appointment just wanting to get better. Upon arriving was scarcely greeted by the receptionist who gave me a form to complete. She was having a fat chat with the local reps at this stage.. Upon receiving my form and Discovery card she belittled me and said Discovery would not pay without so much as checking. Absolutely shocking. When i mentionrd i spoke to Dr she retorted that Dr does not do the admin. Is this what society has been reduced to?
