Into the blue was truly the best. They had the great gear and an even better team. I recently did my dive masters with them and they knocked it out of the park! The staff were very helpful, fun and most of all knowledgeable regarding all aspects of diving and dive sights. Into the blue, I will be back! Thank you for an amazing experience!

The material is well maintained.We were lucky with the weather a bit less with the visibility but really Cape Town is a beauty !Just the boat ride is worthy. The view of the hills and the coast is a wonder.The seals dive is a must ! Never experienced something like this before. Seals are so curious and playful and there were so many !! We scheduled a two tank boat dive to dive with the cape fur seals and in the kelp forest. The team was very responsive via email leading up to our visit to Cape Town. On the day of the dive, we were picked up at our hotel and taken to the dive shop. Taryn, our dive master, was really friendly and good at her job. The water was really choppy due to higher winds which caused some in our group to become quite sea sick. As a result, we cancelled the second dive and went back early. I decided to give 4/5 stars because of one incident. Following the first dive, my hands were really cold/numb so I unfortunately accidentally let the weight belt slip through my hands. Taryn tried to find it but was unsuccessful. When we were about to leave the shop, Taryn informed us that the owner required me to pay the equivalent of $15USD for the weight belt that I lost. This makes total sense generally; however, I was kind of surprised given that we paid for two people to do a second dive that we never went on and did not request any kind of partial refund. We also paid a premium to have our own dive master, due to our relatively green diving skills, and by the look of the empty dive shop, we likely would have been alone with the dive master anyway. Further, due to the fact that we cancelled the second part of the dive, the staff returned to the dive shop to do their in-house tasks much earlier than expected. All this to be said, I felt a bit like we could have considered it a wash and I was a bit surprised to be told I needed to pay for the weight belt. Given all of the extra money we had already given them that day, I didnt feel like this was a display of great customers service; however, I know times are tough due to COVID and subsequently less business so I didnt argue the point at the time.UPDATE: I am pleased to share that Theo (who, if I remember correctly, owns the shop) took the initiative to reach out to apologize for the above described situation and to offer a refund. Given it was more about the principle of the situation rather than the fee itself, I declined but expressed that I appreciate the offer and apology. THAT is excellent customer service that deserves a five star review.

I have always been impressed with the team at Into The Blue Scuba Dive Centre , Sea Point.Their Customer Liaison emails are exceptional – with them replying consistently and punctually, and always responding with the necessary information to queries.I had to do my Scuba Diving refresher course over the weekend, since I had not dived in a year, and it is something which every single scuba diver needs to do should they not have dived in 6 – 8 months.The Scuba refresher course is a really vital process to do, but can sometimes be really mundane (and boring!), and sometimes done rushed too.However, I had a lovely experience refreshing my scuba knowledge and practical diving skills, with Ethan from Deep Blue, instructing me. Ethan’s way of training – and his patience, enthusiasm, and love of the ocean – makes him an excellent instructor, as those in the course can’t help but feel equally enthused.His enjoyable company and instruction methods leave course-attendees learning so much and so well, as even advanced scuba divers like myself learned quite a bit from Ethan.I found such value from my Into The Blue Scuba Dive Centre experience.

Enjoyed scuba diving with them a lot! They are perfectly organised on land, just a bit messy in the water due to large groups and poor visibility. Would dive with them again though!

I have just finished my internship to get my Divemasters and it was an amazing experience! The instructors were both friendly and highly professional and made the course interesting whiulst still being of a very high standard. I would definitely recommend this dive center for courses and leisure dives :)

Was really excited to try diving with seals, and I must say it was everything I expected it to be. The seals are so playful and fun, our guide Connor was really amazing and let us explore without any rush.Came with my wife which is a novice diver and a bit nervous because the condition are different then back home. The temperature actually wasnt cold and they took really good care of her, we loved it.Ive dived quite a bit around the world but the seals was definitely one of the most magical experiences!

These guys are absolutely great. Diving with seals will be fun with everyone you’ll dive with, but the welcoming faces, the chill yet professional vibes and the friendly and accepting atmosphere are all making that experience something you won’t forget. Totally recommend!

I had a really amazing experience diving with into the blue team. The guides are very professional and all have a great positive vibe that made the diving all the more special. The office was able to organize a unique 5 day diving trip catered to my interests (wrecks, seals, night, kelp and sharks). Also, they did a great and timely service for my personal BCD at a reasonable price. I hope to come back and dive with them during the sardine run. Thanks again and all the best! 🙂

I started with my Open Water course at Into the Blue and loved the diving, the people, the friendliness, the experience, the shop, and the level of profession. I ended up doing all my courses at this dive centre. Thank you for the wonderful underwater experiences! The service is excellent as well as great value for money for the courses what I have completed. I shall recommend THIS dive centre to everyone interested to start diving or who wants to continue the adventure.

I became a PADI Open water diver with Into the Blue and had a very great experience. The team was very professionnal and friendly. The weather conditions were not so good for my dives, so they tried to find a better spot for me to complete the training.My instructor was very kind and patient as my ears started to hurt, with a bit longer time i successfully completed the full programm. I was very happy, and i would do it again with them.But if you plan to dive in Cape Town, be aware that the weather conditions are really ... unpredictable.

Had a couple of really cool dives, the DMs took great care of all of us, and I look forward to my next trip to Cape Town so we can hang out once again (preferably when the water is slightly warmer!). Wow! I had an incredible dive with this company. I decided last minute to book a dive trip the day beforehand. I tried calling the shop and their phones weren’t working properly. When I messaged them on Facebook they were very prompt at getting me booked for the next day and apologized for the phone lines being down. The dive center allowed me to borrow a memory card so that I was able to video my entire dive. What made my dive trip the best was our leader Sunette Van der berg. She was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I am a fairly new diver with this being our first dive since we received our OWC. Sunette truly cared about making sure we had a great experience and was comfortable the entire time. She is the most down to earth person I’ve ever met! Sunette made me feel safe and that I was in great hands. I highly recommend using Into The Blue dive center with Sunette!!! Their staff is incredible.

Nice little shop, extremely accommodating and positive team, immensely enjoyed Slade as an instructor and buddy for my dive. Although the water was a chilly 13C, the dive through the kelp, urchins, sea stars and shy sharks in False Bay were worth it!

We had a great time diving with into the blue!We did a sealfive at patridge point and a wreck dive (SS Clan Stuart) at Simonstown.The staff was super friendly and we felt very safe the whole time.Plenty of very playful seals at patridge point! Really fun dive!The wreck dive itself wasn‘t spectecular but there were a lot of shysharks! They came up really close and were also super cute!On out way back to the beach we wete searching for some more marine life and found a big school of dolphins!We had a really great time. And it was definitely worth the extra bucks to go with into the blue!Thanks again!

I did a dive trip with them in January. Everything was good. They picked me up from the hotel and also drove me back after the diving. The Dive crew and the skipper was also very professional and super friendly. The only thing i missed, was that they had no Nitrox and the boat engine was not in perfect conditions. For people who don´t need Nitrox, i can really recommend these dive centre in capetown.

Very professional and experienced team. We went with Into the Blue a few days after the Christmas storm of 2014 and the visibility was horrible, but we kept trying, changed locations and ultimately got a dive in. Management was gracious enough to provide a rate adjustment because of the limited dive.

Dear for the presentation. Booking 1 month in advance and they are late. Friendly staff but ... for the center located far from the beach if you want everything supported take the package two dive ... (again high price) boat: Zodiac without scale so ask you to go back (even if very helpful staff) we go first to the dive center then to the port (loss of time) then the first dive site to see (but that once underwater forest) surface interval we will throws on a rocky beach and ask nothing for you to recharge your batteries (buy yourself) no water no snacks ... diving 2 finally it is better you dive with the sea lions and the moments is magic but the worst is to come .. no weighting check, yoyo dive profile ... its no longer a ride its a race ... and finally we come back to the center and no shower to rinse you no water nothing .... basically its pay you have plunged you drop you break ... shame because I repeat you nice staff so much improvement to predict. Dive school owner Theo showed us the fantastic kelp forests. The dive was very demanding, the water very cold. Theo gave us a safe feeling so that we could enjoy the kelp forests. Everything was great!

Very bad experience with this company.We arrived at 10am at the office as planned, at 10:10 we leave it with all our equipment. So far very professional and very warm. But once at Simons Town, no boat! He had left without us. We tried to contact them a multitude of times.Result: no diving, a day of lost, total misunderstandingA big thank-you.We ended up getting cheaper and more convenient on Simons town.Very bad experience!We were at the office at 10h for the appointment in the email. Every thing was ok. But one hour after simons town, no boat. It was gone without us.We tried to call them many times on the way but no answer.Finally no day and we lost one day.We found an other company directly in simons town and really cheaper!

Two dives completed. Very nice and helpful people. Again and again.
