We received the most horrible experience at Intercare Tygervalley. My wife was suffering from severe dehydration and was on the brink of renal failure. Our hospital plan confirmed that a pre-authorization was not required for this emergency. We rushed her to Intercare where she was consulted by Dr Booysen. He had the worst bedside manner we have ever experienced and was extremely negligent in not taking blood tests to check for kidney health. She needed IV fluids, however we made it very clear to Dr Booysen that we would only receive treatment if she was admitted into the day care, to ensure the hospital plan would cover the costs. He ensured us that they would. The Dr failed to brief the administration team and the claim was not submitted. Months later when I was contacted by their attorneys to settle my bill, I reminded them to claim from our hospital plan. The claim was refused because it was not submitted timorously. I now sit with the original doctors bill plus the attorneys account.

What is the use of opening at 7h30 but nothing happens before 8h00. Waiting for what exactly?

Going here for blood tests is always a smooth and painless process. The staff are super helpful and friendly.

Pathcare is pathetic with their administration of their accounts. They handed my mother over because they failed to collect the money from the medical aid and they failed to inform us of the account and only after a year we received a call from a debt collection agency meaning pathcare handed us over without ever sending us a statement or informing us of the account. There was no claim on our claim statement from the medical aid meaning they did not even try and collect from the fund and just handed us over after a year which is pathetic and ridiculous and horrible service

All staff always friendly and helpful, even when very busy.
