Honestly feel robbed by this practice. Take 2 minutes to read the other reviews here and youll see an obvious pattern. We were rushed in and out of our consultation within 10min. None of our concerns were answered or even remotely addressed. Cherry on top was that our appointment had to be quick as she, and a quote, had an important patient next.

Dr Penny was very knowledgeable and I left feeling a lot more educated regarding skin health. She has a lovely bed side manner and in times where everyone is doing their best to be remote, it was nice to have such a personable experience

Saw Dr. Penny with my toddler. She rushed us out in 10 minutes. Didnt probably check him or go any further. Gave advice which is not practical at all and told me to google the rest. VERY disappointed especially for the fees. Felt it was a complete waste of time and money. Our GP was more helpful.

Very nice and friendly service, but was hardly examined and sent off with a prescription for 6 months and no follow-up care. No improvement

Dr P is Probably the best and most knowledgable doctors in Cape Town when it comes to acne and eczema treatments - far better than her colleauges in the UK and USA. Both my wife and I have been patient of hers now for well over 5 years now. After moving here from California we struggled to find a good dermatologist until we met her. Her percribed treatments and methods are well researched and are at the cutting edge of the newest published science. She takes holelistic treatment seriously, taking lifestyle impact into account when prescribing treatments. She can sometimes be 5-10 minutes late for appointments (the rest of these comments seem to be typical white Capetonians who are distrustful of anyone who doesn’t look like them), but this is something I only experienced once - and given she is mother of 2 and a Full Time doctor - its understandable. We are going to miss her when we move back to States.

Visited Dr S Pather with my wife both for a skin check up which lasted less then 30 min ( for both of us). Check up was not throughly done and needed our in put.We were chocked to see the bill of R 2900,- which is outrages in comparison to advertised rates ( approx. R 1000.) charged by other Cape Town dermatologists

This was my first consultation and will certainly be my last. Dr Penny didnt listen to what I said, gave me a very cursory checkup and took a biopsy of scar tissue the cause of which Id explained when she first started the check up. Having had a biopsy done, Dr Penny didnt even have the decency to let my Dr or me know the results. I phoned the practice three times to try and get the results and my Dr eventually phoned the pathologist. Not impressed

Complete lack of interest in my sons skin. Did not even get up from behind the desk to look at his acne. Pointed to some face wash products avail for purchase on the counter behind her and provided a script. No response, either, to phone call or email to enquire into alternative options. Not very professional for her +R800 fee and 15 mins of her time.

Useless... have been a client of Dr Pathers for almost 2 years and has been ineffective in clearing up my skin. My first appointment she arrived 30min late with her personal shopping in her hands! She is downright useless and would definetly not recommend her or her partner Dr Penny.

Very disappointing. She was late for my appointment even though she was not consulting anyone. My time with her was very rushed and she was not really thorough. Very little comment or advice and no time to ask any questions. I Be prepared with your questions if you should think of seeing her.
