One of the best places you could send your little one to. My daughter has learned and grown so much by being here. It is small enough that your child gets the attention and care they need from teachers but big enough so that they are able to socialize and make friends. Friendly and nurturing staff. No TV (this is a big plus). They are taught everything they need to be ready for Grade R and Grade 1. From potty training, proper speech, letters of the alphabet, counting, shapes and colours, to nursery rhymes and real life skills. A wonderful place. I recommend it 100% 💥

Maxine and her wonderful staff are incredibly caring, loving and involved in your childs development in the preschool years. They are devoted to seeing that your child has the right teaching for Grade R. I am more than thrilled that I chose this daycare centre for Lithalethu. Review:I have been a member of the Maxines Daycare family since 2008. I have sent both my daughters there and referred other equally happy families to the daycare.Maxines Daycare is a place where your childs individuality is recognised and respected; where every child is known and loved and genuinely cared for; where the entire team share the ethic of going the extra mile; where each child is coached and taught at their own pace; external standards are not used as a yardstick because each child is on a unique journey; and where honesty and sincerity are the hallmarks of communication. I am so grateful to have found this daycare when my children were little and know that my girls strong self esteem and love for learning are a direct result of the care and education they have received here. Maxine and Whilma and the teachers are an amazing team and any child in their care is blessed indeed.

Allow me to first say this, “I love Maxine’s Daycare/Educare centre!” My husband and I were doing daycare hunting towards the end of 2014. I found Maxine’s by chance and visited unannounced. From the moment I walked through the doors I knew this was the place I wanted my greatest blessing to spend his time away from me. Whilma welcomed me with a big smile and such warmth. It was the warm family feeling I wanted my son to receive. As we toured the facility I made up my mind that this was the place I wanted my son to be at. My son started at 9 months and he is now 3 years old. Going on 4 years later, I am still as impressed with the staff and programme Maxine’s daycare offers as I was on that first day.I enjoy getting texts and photos of what the children do. My son surprises me daily with the words he says and the things he knows. Sometimes on weekends when he cries he asks for Maliekah hahaha, which in itself is evidence of the tender motherly care they receive from the staff. Im so grateful to the staff at Maxine’s Daycare/Educare for helping us give our boy such a great start in life, and for including us in the moments we would otherwise miss out on.
