Nice experience going on a 🛥. Boat... The glass bottom is a gimmick as you are lucky 🍀 if you can see anything from there... They could enforce the social distancing and mask wearing better 😷than just announcing it. As some people refuse to wear anything... But it was a fun trip out... Thanks...

Prices from R90 for an hour cruise around Chapmans peak and seal island.The boat ride itself wasnt too rough, so, luckily no one suffered from sea sickness. Boats are all safe, even though lifejackets arent compulsory.Take your own beverages and snacks. And dont forget sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses.The views are amazing and great value for money. A fun and adventurous activity for the whole family.

Fun experience with a great crew. Got to see a rare elephant seal in amongst the normal seals.

The boat trip on Saturday was phenomenal, I wish it was longer than 45 minutes though.I love how you can enjoy the smell of the sea water, while having a beer, and actually see LIVE seals just basking in the sun and most of them trying to do dolphin tricks to put up a show.

You will see seals in the bay, there is a guy with and old seal that he cares for and offers photos, locals say the seal was knocked by a vehicle and hurt its back, the seal battles on its hind flippers and cannot hunt efficiently. The old man teamed up with the seal where he feeds him and in return use the seal to take pictures with tourist etc to get money for himself am to buy fish to feed the seal.Local boats offer tours to seal island.

Apart from the fish smell very nice place, bt one can expect it due to the location.

At R90 per adult and R45 per child it is well worth it. It is more about the boat ride than anything else, but it is an outing the kids will remember.

A place to be if youre not going to be sea sick

Well worth the time, my first in Houtbay. Better than the Cape Town Harbour tours. Breathtaking seens of the reverse side of Table Mountain. Safe to take your child out on a boat experience.

From start to finish experience was great.. I always saw this island on National Geographic and to experience it 1st hand was awesome. Another one ticked of the bucket list

This trip was lovely to see the seals all on the rocks , from young to old, and very informative history about the seals, only thing I didnt like is the glass bottom marine, there was absolutely nothing to see, just the sea weeds and propeller of boat, not very impress about the glass bottom, but overall beautiful drive to there and beautiful views of the mountains I enjoy the ride and boat wasnt full so they stick to there covid protocol 🤗👌🏻

Just loooooved the ride! It made me feel a bit sick because of high waves though, it was definitely worth it visiting the island and had a closer look at the beautiful seals. It was totally like a nature documentary film. Impressive, unforgettable, awesome. The guy in front of the dock raising a seal was sweating at visitors who were not giving him money but taking photos. Only one shame of this place.

This is a must do trip if you are in Houtbay area R90 per adult. Easy booking, even got a phone call to confirm. One hour , casual cruise to go and see seals at Danger point. Friendly staff, plenty safe parking. Really enjoyed, nice family outing..

Lots of market stalls and free entertainment. Boat trip was rough when we went out. Due to the ocean swell its hard to get a good photo of the seals. You can see some of them from the shore.

I personally went out on the nauticat in houtbay bay. price wise it was really worth the money I spent ample parking very friendly atmosphere crew on the vessel were very friendly and very helpful I thoroughly enjoy myself.Would recommend this experience to anyone

Lekker fun, quite the eye opener if you havent seen 100s of seals flopping about. Besides, being close to that mountainous coastline is worth it alone. The boat was more than pleasant (toilets, drinks, upper/lower decks)

Glass bottom is wrong description, these boats have 4 glass side panels and cant see anything under water anyway. Top ride experience much better.
