This company does not make any effort to deliver service to clients. I have left many messages to follow up on the status of my parcel with no response since May 2021. I have now given up on my parcel and accepted the loss. I would not recommend them!

Worst experience I have ever had with a courier company.They indicate on the tracking site that they were unable to contact me on 3 seperate occasions, when only one call was made to my phone.They do not put any effort into actually delivering.

This company owns DAWN WING Couriers. BAD service delivery. Parcels not picked up or delivered on time. No feedback. Call centre ridiculously unprofessional.Bad reviews get deleted from Facebook page...

If you want something delivered avoid these!They will email you 3 times then destroy your package. They ask for your phone number but never call, I called then 7 times only not to speak to anyone. Made DHL look like a dream service

Cant give 0 stars. But that is what they deserve. Bad bad service. Takealot should get better Couriers. They lied about picking up a Bosch dishwasher that is faulty, on my farm. Said it wasnt ready for collection. So, now I am going to put it outside my door in the dust for Bosch, with a faulty priduct and Takealot with hopeless couriers to see how dusty it will be in these winds after maybe a week when they probably collect it. Told them they can choose. I either use it till I get my bew one or I put it outside in this dusty Karoo wind. I paid on 8 Des.

Horrible service received from Dawn Wing, a division of DPD 😐 honestly the worst courier company I have ever dealt with!! Never in my life have I ever as a customer needed to follow up on a parcel for 2 weeks straight without any response - I open a ticket and u close a ticket? I run businesses not a circus and Dawn Wing as officially costed me and my company a very bad reputation along with loss of money.

Takealot, I would think twice! My appliance wasnt delivered to the address I provided. This is not acceptable! Tracking still shows out for delivery although the appliance has been delivered to another address.

From London to Johannesburg including customs clearance was quicker than from johannesburg to cape town. Not one call was returned. Not one email replied to. Terrible.

Takealot, its time you use a better 3rd party courier like the courierguy. DPD will give you a bad reputation. My parcel shows shipped, even got sms to say it will arrive before 5pm as usual... Nothing arrives by 5pm then the tracking app on takealot updates at 17:46 to say again the parcel is out on delivery so I contact customer service call centre and they confirm it will still be delivered that night as scheduled . The next day I call support to find out where it is as it hasnt arrived and they confirm DPD doesnt work weekends so now we have to wait for Monday to see if the delivery arrives. Sounds like this is one of those micky mouse couriers that has a couple scooters and 1 small truck for deliveries so they end up missing deliveries. Im all for supporting small businesses but dont waste my time. Ive worked in logistics arranging deliveries and my guys always delivered even if they come back late.

I purchased an item via Takealot. DPD Laser is the courier service Takealot is affiliated with. My order should have arrived 3 days ago. After numerous calls and emails the answer that I have received from them as to why your order is not yet delivered:There was no space on the truck the past few days, so we left it at the depotInstead of meeting your given mandate to deliver or at least if you have missed a delivery. To prioritise parcels missed, have them delivered the next day first? But youve chosen not to deliver. I am still trying to get hold of my parcel. This courier service is pathetic! Even giving a star is generous.
