I genuinely think, you should explicitly state on your website that if you are on some medical aids that a co- payment is needed for normal dental care. R550? For a co-payment because your dental fees are exorbitant? Why when other practices charge normal rates for a normal wash? This was honestly a waste of a leave day, I could have used going to a different dentist, who doesnt require me to pay a co-payment because their rates are above normal rates. This is not fair because when you confirmed the SMS for the appointment or email, you could have explicitly stated this as well...Turning back a patient, who was already at your practice??? Look the receptionists were very kind but no ways the last time I was at intercare for dental care, there was no such and at that time we were still on the same medical aid plan, as we are right now.What a waste of money, travelling all the way to your practice and a wasted day. Ill never step foot again!

Dr. C De Wit is the best GP, this side of town. Takes time to understand your history & examines you thoroughly. Im so grateful for her. She also understands the importance of not having to physically go into the doctors office to pick up scripts during the covid pandemic, previous doctors would tell me to make an appointment just to get a repeat of something thats on your history they clearly have access to. If its on your history & you need a repeat, shes happy to send it to your pharmacy of choice as an emergency script until she sees you again. Shes simply amazing!! I treasure her deeply❤️

I want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Conrad De Klerk. He is one of the most competent Dr. that I have come across. People can have their opinions of what he said in the article but to be honest he helpedy mother in law where the government clinic almost caused her death.A lot of people think they know because they use google and self diagnose. But Dr. de Klerk knows what he is talking about and I would recommend him to anyone.So all people that have their opinion about everything, he is the one that experience everything first-hand.Dr. de Klerk from the bottom of my heart Nadia and Ouma and I want to thank you for always listening and give advice, even just talking about sport. We will always be thankful to you.

Recently visited Dr D Griffiths for the first time and received such amazing care. She was so thorough, patient and unbelievably kind. I’ve had a few bad experiences with GP’s of late and I am so grateful and happy that we still have some great doctors liked her out there.Thank you to Dr Griffiths and the super friendly front desk staff at Intercare Blaauwberg.Awesome experience! :)

I normally call to make my appointments to see dentist or gp. Even after my partner calling this morning and them saying sorry I am booked up, I still went in there. I was help within seconds due to my face being swollen!I have a dentist that I go to and I feel comfortable with him, however today changed my outlook on that! I will never returned to any other dentist but Dr Geyter.He is helpful and gets straight to the point, thank you so much. You really are a star.

Went here during the lockdown and I was quite impressed with the efficiency at the reception. I booked consultation online for a saturday but the GP I booked was not available. So they called me and I was referred to see Dr Boshoff . I must say that was one of my best GP consultations ever. He was very professional, patient and listened attentively to me. It was my first time here and I am happy with the service.

I write this review coming from a state of disappointment and still shock from my experience this morning. I went to go see Dr. Ilana Joubert on a recommendation from a family member that spoke very highly of her, so I went to go see her with confidence that she was all my family member said she was. Unfortunately my experience was not what I expected.I was hoping for at least a diagnosis of what I may have. I understand Im going in with the whole cold/cough and they get it all the time but each individual is different and my main concern was my respiratory. I went to her for upper respiratory concerns with congestion, sore throat, and cough. I relayed to her my symptoms and she had a look at my throat and ears, and nose. Confirming it is not bacterial so I do not need antibiotics. I was like okay. That was about it she said nothing, explained nothing, and seemed very distracted. Wrote a prescription for a multiple of things and asked if I need a note for my job. She did not ask me any background questions, am I allergic to anything, how long has this been going on for and no details of my symptoms. Again writing this in a state of shock as I have just come back from the Intercare to take meds she did not even explain to me.

So disappointed!Went to see Dr Ilana Joubert with a sore throat, headache and flu like symptoms, she checked my throat and sat back down, after sitting awkwardly I asked is everything fine? She proceeded to tell me I have a virus, after another awkward silence I asked so should I take anything she said yes, vitamins. After handing me a sick note, I awkwardly again asked so is that it? She said yes and after 5.5 minutes of sitting down I let myself out.Not once did she explain anything, I still have no idea what it means or what I should do with a virus. I was actually shocked at this! I have always noticed that Intercare seems to be more concerned with the amount of patients they can see in a day than the actual wellbeing of the patients. But surely with everything going on at the moment (not to cause panic) but surely you as a doctor should be asking have you travelled anywhere, have you been around anyone that has travelled, surely you should listen to what tour patients have to say rather than ignoring them?Sort this out intercare! I wish I had read other people’s comments before making an appointment

Easy access, great Doctors. Neil Richards for example is a star with the whole family. Spacious and clean. Reception do a good job. Pity that Clicks Pharmacy sadly outside so so so slow and ugly looking.

This is a fabulous medical centre...have only made use of the doctors thus far.The great thing is that if you or your kids fall ill in the middle of the night, you can book a timeslot with a doctor of your choice online!!!It does help that the doctors are great as well.

This branch of Intercare is seemingly well equipped at first glance with a pharmaceutical dispensary and pathologist in the same building. Unfortunately its let down by its staff and internal admin system.I went there for a simple battery of blood tests. After two attempts at contacting me which I was unable to take (not their fault), I decided to physically go to the practice to pick up the results.Once there, one of the assistants did her best to retrieve the test results for me, but after 20 minutes I was ultimately told that I would have to wait for one of the sisters to phone me. Why? Im literally standing 20 feet away from the acting physician. I dont understand why I cant just walk in and collect the report.The proverbial straw? Ten minutes after I left, I got a phone call telling me to come over and pick up my test results.Cleary they have a terrible internal communication system but the reason for the one star was the phone call I eventually got from an impertinent sister by the name of Karen who told me that it was frustrating for her (yes, for her) not being able to contact me. Great. Waste my time, and then give me a rude phone call. World class customer care.Possibly one of the worst medical experiences Ive every had, and Ive almost died twice.

Terribly disappointed in the service I recieved from Dentist Marissa Botes from Intercare Blaauwberg... I called her receptionist requesting a qoute for a gum guard & explained that I wanted the full costs of Drs fee & lab fee the total amount... The receptionist called me back & assured me it would not exceed R1200.. So I made the appointment with Dr Botes... On arrival I again confirmed with reception the cost & again was told not more than R1200..When I saw Dr Botes she even told me the fee would be less around R850.. I again before departure confirmed with receptionist fee of R850...However today 9 Sept I go to collect the gum guard they change the price to R1500... I then told them I was conned by Dr Botes & staff... However to compromise I requested I pay the R1200 as was first quoted... DR Botes refused to compromise even though it was her & her staffs fault for mus qouting me...I would never go back to intercare dental Dr Botes as they are con artists interested in stealing where they can...

I had to take off work to take my daughter to get her prescription renewed. First off, we had to wait three days for an appointment because DR Van Der Westhuizen has decided to only work half days. We get an appointment for 12 o’clock and we waited ONE HOUR and still weren’t called for our appointment. Van Der Westhuizen was seeing to all her other patients except us. We went to the receptionist to tell her we are leaving because this is horrid service to wait one hour and still get no help. The receptionist just responded ‘Oh well, I book for single appointments when patients actually take double appointments so there’s nothing I can do about the delay so I SUGGEST YOU FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR because there’s always going to be time delays due to how long she takes with patients’ in those exact cheeky words. If you know she takes long, why don’t you just book the appointments accordingly instead of wasting peoples time. People come to the doctor because they are sick and need medicine, not to sit for hours on end in a waiting room feeling sick.

Dr Scheffler not only failed to diagnose my issue, but also resulted in unnecessary expense and planned further expense both at their offices and a specialist. An alternate opinion saw my issue resolved after one consultation, but not after 3 weeks of unnecessary pain and discomfort.

Visited Dr Conrad De Klerk on Monday after my painful experience of jamming my finger into the Boot of the car. He skillfully drained the fluid, avoided infection, that which a normal Doctor will do right? Except he called the following day to find if I okay...now thats service!

Starting off on a good note DR Karen du Preez is a lovely lady who agreed to see my daughter after we rushed her to Intercare ER. The sister in ER also was very helpful giving us information and as much help to make sure my daughter got better. The sad part though which are the things that stay with people is the reception one gets on walking in. Because had to find parking my husband rushed in with our daughter and I followed a few minutes later.As I walked in I ran to the front and tried to explain that I just needed to be shown where my daughter was the cashier told me to hold it and ignored me for a good 2 or so minutes. I then forced to present my case to her and on realizing how serious my case was she only then jumps out of her seat and leads me to another desk with an older lady who seriously IGNORED me.This older lady sat with her face down while i repeatedly greeted her.Fortunately a more helpful sister who was walking past acknowledged me and led me to where my daughter was. Only upon hearing how serious my child was did this older lady only react.Just a word of advise Intercare, one can easily lose a life in the few seconds you spend ignoring us. It really broke my heart how I was treated today at this practice and I hope no other parent gets to experience this.However thank you Dr K du Preez and the ER sister that helped us. My daughter lives to see another day.

Does not honour appointments. Books back to back. Fails to notify patients of overrun appointments. Practice Manager fails to take action and compiles a list of excuses rather than managing patient expectations. Highly dissapointing. Take your money to a practice that prioritizes patient satisfaction.

In desperation I went to Intercare on a Saturday morning, as my regular Dr was away. From the moment I walked I was greeted like a friend and not a patient.The receptionist Lowell Fincham was so imformative regarding my medical aid...I learnt a lot thanks to her...Thank you Lowell.The Dr Scheffler was a pleasure and if ever I need someone again he will be top on my list of Drs.Thank you to all the staff I interacted with, you were all so friendly...Happy patient.

Arrived on Sunday 29 July with a swollen tip of my elbow.The nurse on duty and Dr. said nothing can be done and I had to go to a trauma unit. Arrived at the Christiaan Barnard ER. The Dr. inserted a needle in my elbow, drained a watery type fluid and prescribed tablets and I am ready for my trip to India. I can not understand why I have wasted 2 hours going to Intercare in the first place ? Only because it was a Sunday and I was traveling did go to Intercare but they were a waste of time.

I agree that this practice lets its patients down when it comes to administration. After the practice called to say that my daughters sick note was ready, I drove there especially to collect it. It then transpired that the note had not yet been prepared and I was told that the doctor was seeing a patient and would not be long, if I wanted to wait. After a 25 minute wait, the doctor was still busy and I left empty handed. They advised me that they did not/could not email the note to me.This is really poor service.

I visited Dr Muller on Monday the 3rd October 2016 with a sore throat and a runny nose. He examined me . My temperature was 38.7. he then prescribed a 3 day antibiotic, demazin and panamor. Ive taken all the meds. its been 5 days and the condition has worsened. So definitely would not recommend
