Factory shop prices are good, but might still be overpriced for the actual quality of proper reject items. Many crockery items on the shelves are not even usable... no toilet facilities made available for clients, and the staff make zero effort to problem solve.

I was very disappointed in the way a situation was treated by your manager at the Somerset West branch yesterday. My child made a mess in your bathrooms which was unacceptable and which had to be handled. I do not make excuses for that. But the manner in which I was treated after spending R12000+, was humiliating and unprofessional. Approaching me in my car, demanding that I clean the bathrooms myself (which I would of offered to do in anyway, if I was informed at the time)and not even offering a cloth or cleaning products (I had to use my own wet wipes). I would of had more respect for them if they had treated it in a better way. Somerset West branch will not see me again!

I am very unhappy with the service that I have been receiving from White House Woodstock. I am a regular customer and lately I have had very bad service and communication from the sales reps on the floor.They never seem to have stock, they do not phone to let you know if the stock has arrived, when you collect the order it is the wrong stock. I am sitting with a Super Kind duvet cover that I bought and my manager opened and used before I realized it was a Super King and not a King. I specifically asked for a King. This happened again - luckily this time I checked the order as I unpacked it. I had to go back to return this and get the correct one.The quality of the linen is definitely not the same anymore. I recently bought king oxford pillow cases and the fabric already has a tear in it. I always buy the supposedly top range and it does not come cheaply.I bought 25 hangers from them in October. When I wanted to pay and they had to fetch the hooks for the hanger they did not have stock. I was assured that I will have the rings/hooks within a week or 2. I phoned today again and was told that this hooks will now only be here at the end of February!!!!!This is totally unacceptable and to offer me money back at this point is useless!! At this point I feel they must make a plan to get me the hangers I bought - even if they must buy hangers in from someone else. I do not want money back or the normal hangers and I certainly feel it is unacceptable to think I must wait for 4 months to get them and hearing absolutely nothing from them this whole time. Each time I have to phone to find out if the hooks have arrived or not. They have had the money in their bank account now for a full 3 months and I still have hangers I can do nothing with.This will certainly be the very last time I buy something at White House!Susanne BothaNewlands Cottages

Absolutely shocking customer service from the Tygervalley branch! I have always bought all my bedding and towels from Whitehouse Tygervalley with no issues until now. I bought a sheet and put it straight into the washing machine without checking the sheet and when it came out it looked as though there was pink dye that had been dropped on the sheet. I took it back to the shop... No apology whatsoever! Instead the manager told me I must have put something in the washing machine with it - i said well how is it my other clothing came out perfectly fine and the grey sheet had the marks on. She said she would have to speak to their headoffice. Monday i heard nothing back. Tuesday i phone to see what is happening , they mention my new sheet would be here on the Wednesday (couldnt be bothered to let me know). Thursday i pop in to fetch my sheet- which was unfolded in front of me to show me there are no marks. I ask what was the feedback from Head Office- the manager says oh it is definitely from some liquid you put in your machine. I responded by saying i dont appreciate of being accused of something that is not true. So this will be the very last time I step into that store as clearly your staff have forgotten what customer service is all about let alone offering an apology.
