Their Durban Berea Offices are totally unprofessional. Dealt with Sumeshan Chetty there who was extremely unprofessional in trying to sell me a place , trying to scam me. Useless to say the least and should be reported to the consumer council.

Can someone explain why is it that Im reciving rental statements after not being in my observatory flat in over 4 years? Why are my details being used for a deposit with earning interest? Sounds like someones embezzling money from the company by using previous tenants..

An agent from Rawson managed to get my wifes personal number and sent her an unsolicited whatsapp inviting herself to do a valuation of our property. We didnt ask to be contacted. I dont appreciate unsolicited sales messages at 08:00 am on a Friday morning from someone I dont know. How did they even get our details? Surely thats a contravention of POPI. Typical predatory estate agents, though. If we do sell our house, we will make a point of NOT using Rawson due to this, and other, unethical business practices. AVOID

I have had a great experience with Sheena Paulse, a rental partner in the Southern Suburbs. Everytime I have had any queries or requests she has helped in either assisting me with the request or at least giving me a clear answer to my queries. I would recommend Rawson if you are looking to rent an apartment in the Southern Suburbs (Cape Town).

The place is next to a main road, closer to the shops, schools and university of cape town Rondebosch campus.

This Rawson agency is busy scheming people, they are charging every person who wants a house an admin fee and all other expenses at the end of the day they do not refund. Imagine if five different people are viewing a house, when interested they will make every person to sign the paperwork after that the answer is the application was unsuccessful. I was told that someone was successful yet the same house is still available . Beware of Rawson it is doing a daylight robbery especially Wood stock houses. One house is being advertised with different agencies yet they are all doing the same thing of collecting money in the name of processing the application form .

Avoid this rental group at all costs! Absolutely useless. Incompetence to the extreme. They held rental payments for weeks, with no real explanations on why the monthly rental payments were not passed on or when they would be paid. Every month it was the same situation with a different excuse. Getting statements was impossible. Overall service levels rock bottom. Avoid.

Have had it hard applying for a lease.Bad communication regarding organising a property viewing and going on further to receiving the application form.Agent late for the viewing and doesnt answer phone calls or messages.Just poor communication throughout the whole process and have seen many similar complaints over the agency and the agents.Not impressed over the service of such a big real estate agency but in the end sorted out my lease.

Avoid buying or renting anything from this developer and estate agent. Nice up to the moment they get your money. We bought a brand new unit and on handover Ghadija Diljee the agent was 4 hours late rude and aggressive. The many defects which they promised to fix during the 6 months prior to handover were untouched and the unit was in a filthy condition. A few months later the roof leaked and damaged the extractor. Although they have finally repaired the leak they have inexplicably refused to pay for the extractor repairs Riaan Combrinck their supervisor coming up with the most disingenuous argument. We and our friends and families were considering buying into Rawson developments but have gone elsewhere. Stay far away and be warned of this company that lacks any kind of integrity.

Highly frustrating and incompetent agency.Uncommunicative, no transparency with finances, unknowledgeable about property law and their own lease agreements, poor outgoing inspections (flat was returned dirty with multiple breakages) and unresponsive to complaints.

Its been almost a month since I handed over the keys to my flat rented through Rawson, and they have yet to return my security deposit. A new tenant has moved into the flat, yet the agent is ignoring my numerous emails asking when I can expect to receive my security deposit back.I paid my rent on time every month for the three years I lived in that flat, yet when the time comes for Rawson to return my money they dont deliver. Very disappointed.

Such a frustrating and unpleasant experience with this rental group. Our estate agent was lazy, uncommunicative and disrespectful. She would schedule inspections or viewings for new tenants less than 20 minutes before they were due, would not respond to emails/messages and did not even appear at our exit interview. She never once apologized for her behavior.At least once she scheduled viewings with new tenants a) without telling us and b) without pitching at all, meaning we were forced to show these poor strangers around our flat which we had not even prepped for a viewing. Will never do business with them/her again, was a horrible experience.

Great feedback from clients. At last Rawson, the trusted name in residential property, is now active in the Commercial Property Space. We expect great things.
