Neither professional nor responsive. Highly unprofessional. Ill never set foot in this business again.I went in there at 5.00pm today to buy stationery. There were 3 staff on duty and NO customers. I was standing at the counter for about 5 minutes. None of the staff made any effort at all to attend to me, although all 3 off them saw me. Ive never experienced such as surreal experience in a shop. Dont go there if you have high blood pressure issues.

I had documents sent to Postnet Canal Walk in November. I went to collect them in the week and I was told with a straight face that they had disposed of the documents. Now I understand that the documents had been there for approximately 6 months and I received notice that the documents were ready for collection in December. But to simply throw my documents away. Those documents were my SAQA and TEFL certificates that I had verified, high court notarized and apostilled. The process cost me R4700. I thought it would be safe to leave my documents there until I had secured an overseas position. But to be told with a straight face that they had simply thrown away my documents. This experience was a sad one.

This evening I stood in the que outside of the store at 7:50pm. At 7:52pm a gentleman, average height , broad body built with glasses, closed the door in our face not even informing queuing clients that unfortunately the store will close at 7:52pm. When I confronted him saying that he is unprofessional and rude for shutting the door in our face twice without being client friendly to say that the store is closed at 7:52pm, he didnt even make an attempt to apologize instead he tried to grab the door out of my hand, stating the mall closes at 8pm, still no apology after I explained that its the principal of being client friendly, decent and that he is absolutely unprofessional and rude. He continued to close it in our faces again. His colleague called a client who qued in front of me and another gentleman to be assisted. Note that the door SIGN reflects closing time at 9pm!! Its the 3rd time in weeks I have had a disgusting experience with postnet canal walk staff

Poor customer service - the gentleman barely said a few words to me without my prompting. Printing was crazy expensive and then I only realised later that my pages have been printed out of order!!! Don’t offer a printing service if you’re not going to train your staff to print properly to specifications. Very disappointed.

Brilliant service is one thing. To maintain it when something goes wrong is another. It is not the fact that a mistake was made, but how it was handled. Sorting it at the expense of the customer is never a good option!

Fairly disappointed at the service I got at Canal Walk today. Normally they are very helpful. But the staff I got today were not apleasing at all. Upon my arrival 15h30, I greeted the three staff members;coloured guy, coloured lady and black lady and none responded back, I had to shout hello to get their attention, when they should be the one ready to welcome their customers into the store. The black ladies was busy texting, while am standing there waiting to be helped. The other coloured lady was cutting something and I felt like she should have left that alone and focused on the customer instore. The guy was busy helping the courier guy.

Visited Postnet Canal walk to renew my car licence disc and avoid queues at traffic departments post lockdown.BIG mistake.Didnt wait THAT long on the day to speak to one of their staff members, but a month later still no disc.I paid the amount (way more than the disc price) as they instructed. To a third part - Q 4 U who now state Ive underpaid.Just to be rid of this stress I reluctantly tried to log in to pay the purported shortfall and user not found.Main gripe with Postnet they dont bother to answer e mails. Surely there is a policy like most businesses that e mails should be answered ( at least acknowledged) within a reasonable time.I tried to phone as well and the phone is not answered.I paid additional for POSTNET to arrange my disc but am getting NO service from them at all.

Great store if you need to send parcels on Public holidays or after 17:30 when ALL other branches normally close. Its a busy shopping Centre so be prepared to wait a bit to be served. They always give you a copy of the waybill when sending which is very helpful

Shocking service. They sent my documents to China instead of Canada (even tough, I printed address and labels to make sure theres no confusion but I guess it doesnt help when you are stupid) and then they said they will check with service provider what the issue is and let me know (never happened, I phoned them 5 times). In reality, I just wasted my precious time and money with this absolutely useless and incompetent company.Stay clear of them, like the other reviewers suggested below.

Received fantastic service from the Postnet team yesterday. I needed to schedule an urgent docunent collection in Pretoria and when it could not be collected in time the courier scanned the doc and emailed it to me in Cape Town.

I am disgusted by your clock watching staff!! i came into your store at 8.43pm. had a few documents in my hand and immediately your staff looks at the clock! i take out my external harddrive for a document to be printed and guess what... my hard drive does not work on the 2 computers they plug it into and i say let me fetch my laptop quickly, but even now they starting to look like this could take some time and ever so politely say they cannot help me as they closing in 11 minutes time. i am disgusted at your clock watching staff. there was no other clients in the store and 3 staff members doing nothing. how is that for service!! by the way my external hard drive works. i just plugged it in!!PS. i am only putting in 1 star because i cannot post if i dont rate you. you do not deserve it and i shall spread the news.

Dont go there for laminating. No care taken in laminating my A3 posters. Got it back with lines all over and my posters ruined. Still had to pay for the full price to collect my ruined posters.Definitely do not take a chance with them

Actually NO STARS for this store !!The franchisee of this store needs to spend some time in his/her store. The staff are really bad with the exception of one or two who have been working here for a while. Staff need training - one says one thing and another says the contrary. This morning I stood waiting to be served for 5 minutes- no queue but ALL the staff members were busy, until a young man decided to stop doing whatever he was doing and dragged himself to the counter. He said it was no problem doing Postnet to Post Office in towns that Postnet had no office-at the going rate of R99. After filling in all the paperwork, my box fitted into a brown bag then into a sealed plastic bag, a wonder woman arrived and said that Postnet to Post Office is actually R150. I stated I had had this service done previously at R99. She said “ whoever did this previously must have made a mistake, it is R150 and not R99”-no “sorry” no “may I offer an alternative” just that as end of story as she cut the plastic bag open, ripped the brown bag open and pulled my box out. She put my box on the counter, turned her back on me, I guess I was dismissed, and she started chatting to another staff member who was also busy, but also not busy with any customer. I have used this Postnet store for the last couple of years now, but today was the last time ever. You want really good service, then go to Pick n Pay and use the Aramex service. Same price but delivered to most centres before 12 the next day. The Pick n Pay staff were 100% better than the Postnet staff as well !! Goodbye Postnet !!!
