This is an excellent truck stop over to fuel up on diesel or petrol. It also brags with shower facilities as well as toilets for the disabled and able bodied people. There is a ridiculously large parking spot for cars and trucks have a separate stop area behind the shops. The place also has an Absa ATM for quick cash withdrawals. There is a large Wimpy as well as a convenience store that sells refreshments.Did I mention the play park for children as well as undercover parking for cars.

It wasnt very busy which was nice and we received a very warm welcome. Service was a little slow as there were very few staff, but the food was good. The best thing was the braille menu, I thought that was such a nice touch and havent seen it anywhere else.

Unlike other 1 stops, theres no benefits for truck drivers, you get 440l coke even when you pour more than 600l of diesel, they dont accept Clicks cards for points like other engen garages

Bought a Jumbo Double Cheese Burger Pie, which I paid R33 only to discover when consuming pie that there wasn’t any cheese.Also I had to operate the Garage microwave which I find very unhygienic during COVID 19 pandemic

We love Wimpy. Always find a reason to stop. Unfortunately today the service was not the usual fast service. We were served immediately, but the drinks and food really took a good length of time to be served. So we were not sure if there was a kitchen problem. The restaurant wasnt busy at all. The food was freshly made as usual

Petrol attendant dont know how to open bonnet and I had to wash my own window. While I watch other cars drive away, because they were not helped in time.

Really shocked and disappointed in the petrol attendee that started laughing at my husband with the rest of the other petrol attendees when my husband asked a reasonable question, and then started mocking us as well. Will never stop at this garage again. What a way to treat customers.We decided to not pour fuel like we intended, all because of the rudeness of the staff members.Truly disgusted.

Stopped at the Wimpy for a quick meal. The kids menu is great, and the game on the back is a great way to keep them occupied. The peri peri chicken wings were very spicy, and lived up to expectations.The bread at the grocery store was fresh which isnt often the case for a petrol station. All round, good experience.

Not too happy with the service. Two ladies were talking and one distracted the other (that was helping me). I felt that their discussion was more important than me being there as a paying customer. She was also leaning all over my bakkie even though she clearly could see I didnt like it.

Went there to meet my husband that came back from a business trip and decided to grab something at the wimpy. The ladies were so friendly and chatting to us. Really loved the atmosphere. Even caught the manager dancing with his waiters. Really lovely! Thank you guys.

Came Out For Breakfast, a absolutely horrible experience firstly the waiter had to be asked to wipe the dirty table where she tried to seat us !! took our order brought it us wrong, 35 minutes later we had to ask someone to take our food order, the food came out wrong not 1 single time has Banda came to Check on us, in almost 3 hours .No bloody service from anyone asked for a something got told to fetch it myself at the service counter.Now this is the Service Industry, well done Wimpy Thank you for the **** Engagement Breakfast Experience .

Bought almost R400 worth of lunch at Wimpy and entire household is down with food poisoning. Informed the Manager and still no feedback. Not even a refund. Will never buy food there again.

Nice, big and clean one-stop with a small shop to stock up on padkos or grab a light snack. A Wimpy is also available if you need a quick a coffee or a meal to fill your belly.

The WIMPY at this ENGEN shoukd be avoided...bad service...slow kitchen...noisy waiters....a pity because WIMPY is always good but not this one..sad.

....as we love the Wimpy franchise for over 40 + years we had to make a stop just to have a coffee after a great lunch at Mellasat Wine Estate in Paarl ! There coffee machine was out of order...and it was awesome as there coffee & cream-ii cappuccinos are always the best!.................just had to have a double espresso after all the wine! Hahahahaha!......

Very good toilets and nice shaded parking. There is also a fast food Wimpy for eating.

The bathrooms are neat and tidy, theres a Wimpy for sit down or take away and the normal shop to grab refreshments. Theres also a play area to let the ankle biters run ragged when youre on a long road trip.

We waited 10 min to be served another 30 for the food that did not arrive.
