Pity I can’t give 0 stars. Dropped Canon printer for a quote to repair the feeder. Was quoted R1500 to replace the cartridges (including R480 for labour!!!!!) BEFORE it would be assessed to see what replacing the feeder would cost (I had used the printer earlier in the day and it was printing fine when I manually fed the paper). If you want to contact them there is no direct number and you must call Johannesburg, who will route you back to Cape Town. I had numerous calls routed to Durban or to engaged numbers. After over 6 weeks of calls and numerous emails I have still not received a quote. Giving up! Buying a Brother printer instead. The after sales service can’t be worse than this!

You can’t even hear what they are asking for because the others are literally shouting at each other while you are being helped, and when you have to ask the lady to repeat herself for the 4th time cause of the noise she literally rolled her eyes, got annoyed and stood up And walked away. Canon ts6140MarvinIR465408Wow...I am absolutely blown away by the service just given to me by Marvin!! I had an issue with my Scanner on my TS6140 Scanner. It was only partly scanning a document and then reporting an error. Marvin spent a huge amount of time with me firstly deleting my printers off my Mac and then downloading and installing fresh drivers and software! Im now back up and running! Marvin ....you are true superstar and a lifesaver!!Your help was enormously appreciated!Have a great day...youve made mine!!

Poor service, staff attitude thats abysmal... Not sure why a brand like Canon would let a company like PartServe handle their warranty/customer service. A real pity. My clients will now rather purchase another brand, simply to get better after sales support if they require it in future.

Pathetic, unprofessional and useless service. Acer laptop taken in on the 13th July and 16 days later Im still waiting for my laptop. No feedback is given to me or updates, I need to call partserve to get an update on something that should have been completed already. I have called 7 times and the same lame excuse is thats its being assessed. I called again on the 27th July and then was told I would be getting a quotation by close of business but still nothing. Today I will be laying a formal complaint because this is the worst service experience ever. I will not recommend using this company for anything especially not pc repairs and checking the reviews it seems to be a trend of partserve.

Epson surecolour T5200d: Im having major issues with Partserve who dont seem interested in working with dealer (who you trained) to fix machine. What looked like a basic head replacement has turned into a 3 month headache. Over R40000 spent on head+pump+board+harness. No urgency shown at all. Still waiting on basic parts from them. Hoping they can come to the party and help the businesses that help them! Very disappointing..

Customer service is somewhat friendly - thats quite honestly the only good thing I have to say about this business. You can read about my experience below if you like, but if you want the summary, its this: avoid this business. Its not worth the stress.I took my laptop in because it was refusing to boot, and apparently this was due to a faulty SSD. PartServe told me they needed to replace it, but first they need to order a new SSD and they cant tell me when it will arrive, but Ill get an ETA as soon as they have one. Annoying, but fair enough.This was on a Monday. By that Friday Id still heard nothing, so I called them to ask for an update and was told that they still dont have an ETA from their supplier, but that they can request one. Why on earth would they not request this from the start? I asked them to do that and let me know. Reminder, its been five days now. I could drive to a mall and buy an SSD this afternoon if I wanted to. But again, whatever, I figured Im not their only customer so best be patient.That next Monday (after a full week) I called again, and was told the parts had arrived - yay! They estimated the repair would take 2-3 working days. For an SSD replacement. That a technician can probably do in under an hour. But again I sucked it up, since Id already paid up front (never making that mistake again), and I just wanted my laptop back.On Wednesday I called again, after giving them their 2-3 days to replace a drive. And I was told - get this - that theyre still waiting for parts. After having told me that Monday that the parts had arrived. At this point I think I must have let my impatience show, because I received a call back that afternoon to tell me that theyd managed to source a third party supplier who could have the parts there by that Friday (two full working weeks after I brought the machine in).Today is that Friday, at 3.30pm. I just got off the phone again, after having been told that they are still. waiting. on. parts. And no ETA has been given (despite what I was told on Wednesday that the parts would arrive today). Additionally I was told that the Cape Town branch is moving and quote theres not much happening there today. I still have no indication as to when this saga will end. Even if I was given an ETA now, what credibility is there? Theyve broken their own promises twice now.If you read through the rest of these reviews youll realise Im not alone in this. I wish I had read them before I took my laptop to this company. I implore you to avoid this business, and if anyone from Lenovo ever reads this, I implore you to remove them from your list of approved support partners. Ridiculous delays, no consistency in their stories, and a complete lack of communication sum this place up. And Im only two weeks in, who knows where it goes from here... honestly considering just demanding my laptop back and taking it somewhere else, but if its this difficult just to replace a drive then I shudder to think about their refunds process.

Booked a Canon printer in for repair. I was told that the repair would cost R1450 ex VAT. I agreed because I still have several new cartridges. After about three weeks and me having to follow up I received multiple messages via email and sms to collect. When I went to collect I was told that my printer couldnt be repaired but here was a replacement printer. This was the first time I heard about this and it obviously doesnt help with the spare cartridges. To make matters worse, when I Googled the replacement printer I could buy the exact same thing for R999 some R600 less than what Partserve wanted to charge me. An extremely poor effort on the repair, not telling me it couldnt be repaired and then trying to rip me off by overcharging me for a cheap replacement. Very disappointing. A month down the road Im in the exact same position.

The inaccurate information and instructions given by call centre in Johannesburg and The Invoice Guy at the premises in Cape Town were in total conflict with what could actually be done when I had driven all the way there in traffic. Then the irritability towards myself as a customer by the call centre agent and eventual non charlatan attitude from the staff when I could Thankfully just quietly take my unit and leave. Reminding myself to never go back there or call this company and feel like a nuisance when I do.

Canon should be really worried that this place is their repair centre. They are useless. They fixed my printer and it broke again straight away. I can understand this. It happens. But then I took it back and it is now four weeks - FOUR WEES - and I have no feedback. I spoke to three agents, none of who could help me. They all promised to get back to me. Nothing. All feedback that I got was that they said they were waiting for new cartridges for my printer to test it. These are Canon cartridges and they are Canon agents, and they cant get it together.

My laptop got water in it. Over phone calls and visits, I replaced the lap top, Partserve removed the very new kind of SSD drive and spent time getting the data off, as there is no external adapter yet for such a drive. The Johannesburg office returned my calls, and I did get to talk to a technician in the Cape Town office. So I suppose they met expectations. However, I did find the manner of most of the many people I dealt with irritating in that they refused to deviate from the script, and in Cape Town they had no smiles and no personality. I watched them for five hours as I waited for my repair. They acted like robots. That was fine for messengers from companies, but many people coming in were individuals like me and they were already stressed by having a broken laptop or printer. Some sympathy or chit-chat would go a long way.

Worst experience EVER!would not Recommend this place what so ever....took my printer in , in the start of july, asked for a quote, a week passes no response from them, eventually phone them and get the quote from their call center also let them know that i accept the quote and that they must please proceed with fixing the printer , then a week later i drive through there to fetch the printer ,as arranged with call center only to be asked at front desk if i accept the quote? i told the front desk woman i had accepted it via call center a week ago already, at this time she tells me the printer has not yet been fixed ... i accept the damn quote for a second time, this time in person and also pay for it there, another few days pass, still not response as to if the printer is sorted, AGAIN i phone to then again be asked if i accept the quote, at this stage any kind of politeness i may have had, vanished, i was absolutely fuming ! a week later i phone again , to then be told, oh yes the printer was finished the previous week.beyond furious...you guys have seriously got to buff up your utter lack of client service!that said, will be making use of other servicing companies next time..

Only gave them one star because you cant write a review without at least giving them one star.So, my brother took my laptop in to them in July for a quote to remove an earphone jack that had broken off in the audio port. They, in addition to the stated repair, quoted him for the replacement of an LCD screen, to which I was quite perplexed because the laptop screen had no visible cracks in it. My brother, to his dΓ©triment, did not inspect the laptop on receiving it back from them.Fast-forward to this month, my sister asked if she could use the laptop, which at this stage, hasnt been repaired yet because I agreed to hand it in for repairs at the end of this month. When she opened it though, she found that there was literally only half of the LCD screen left - she sent me pics of the laptop and my first question was, Is that MY laptop. The screen looked as if the laptop had been dropped, the screen had cracked, and someone obviously removed the cracked parts of the screen - its too bad that there is no way to post the pics on here.So, in trying to get to the bottom of how the laptop came to be in this condition, when I left it with an intact screen with no visible damages, I questioned my brother first. He told me that he hadnt touched the laptop until he took it to them for a quote, which I believed because I had removed the battery and took the charger with me. Plus, he had a laptop of his own so he had no reason to use mine.So, that just leaves this place to answer for what happened to my laptop.And all this was just for a quote. I shudder to think what wouldve happened if it was handed in for repairs.
