Quite an odd experienceI was enquiring around monitors for a development company that has recently started up.I was looking at R9000 budget per monitorThe Dell monitor we shopping for, comes in at R9499.00I was looking to purchase 8 monitors. Unfortunately I was advised that the price cant be dropped by R400.00 per monitor15minutes later and one 4 minute phone call with your competitors - price was matched and included free delivery.Interesting sales approach from your sales team.

This retailer will happily take your money but wont care when you have an issue. Go directly to the supplier of the product and dont buy from this reseller as you will get bad after purchase service. Learn from my bad experience. Use this as a showroom and then purchase from manufacturer online.

Its big and has almost everything and easy to locate. It stays on the back of Apple store. Workers are really helpful and nice

I would strongly advise against buying a screen protector from Incredible Connection Cavendish. Rather go downstairs to Tech 2050. Heres why: I bought one from Incredible Connection Cavendish for R299 and it slipped off within a few weeks. I came back with the defective screen protector and slip and asked for a refund, and I was referred to Junaid at tech support. Junaid said that I cant get a refund because theres already a crack in the screen protector. Effectively, what Junaid was stating by implication was that Incredible Connections policy is that if their screen protector is so defective that it cracks at the slightest drop and slips off randomly, then it is TOO defective to refund. I, in turn, decided that this argument was TOO illogical to bother arguing against. Instead, I went downstairs to Tech 2050 near Dis-Chem. They gave me a new screen protector for R150 of a far superior quality AND they noticed another issue with my phone -- the screen itself was coming off. They fixed that at a reasonable price too. Incredible Connection hadnt even noticed this, presumably because they dont care about their customers. Apart from that, Tech 2050 puts the screen protectors on themselves, whereas Incredible Connection expects you to do it.

I called to price internet cables I wanted 30 m (firstly no stock) they do stock 5 m @ R399. I went to Takealot 30 m is under R300 in a time when people need to work from home not by choice you have companies like Incredible connection taking advantage and hiking up prices. And I wont even mention the wonderful happy sales consultant I spoke to. Come on People, you want a different South Africa it all starts with YOU. How do you justify a 5m cable at R150 more than a 30m cable. That is not right at all. If I could give you negative stars I would.

Staff made me wait very long and the store was empty.

I have just walked into this store to buy a TV. The staff was totally unresponsive and chatting to each other. I browsed for at least 10 minutes and nobody approached me. Completely apathetic and totally unprofessional!!I will take my business elsewhere.

Last week I returned a pair of earphones which still had a one year warranty on them. The staff was flippant and apathetic when I arrived and had to wait a long time for what I thought was a non issue. When I finally received assistance I was told that it would take a maximum of 3 days to get back to me with a new pair, since it was a manufacturing defect. It was been a week, they still have not gotten back to me and I tried calling to no avail. Coming to this branch was certainly a waste of time, with pathetic service, and can only hope that they dont represent the larger culture of Incredible Connection itself.

Stay away! Total lack of product knowledge, could not answer my questions. Crossed their Blue Route branch off my list ages ago for the same reason, looks like the Cavendish branch is going the same way. Shall stay with Computer Mania in future.... Far better advice and product knowledge.

Weve been there a couple times and the service remains consistently good. Theyve adopted good Covid-19 protocol which, in as much as the wait can be annoying, they do good to keep people safe. That being said, Ive seen a staff member or two, on the odd occasion, not wearing their facemask.

Same as all the other stores, the staff first label you before they approach. Like can you afford to be in this shop 🤔.

They are not the cheapest but they do offer higher purchase and Ive been met with nothing but kindness from the staff.What I particularly like is that they assist you in a way that doesnt make you feel pressured when youre just busy browsing.

This service at this store is terrible, I literally had to plead for an assist to help me. The assistants at this store usually huddle together in a corner chatting and don’t offer support until someone physically comes up to them to ask for support. I am a student and every time I walk into this store, I feel I am being ignored, I usually have walk up to the counter to ask if someone can help me because literally all the assistants either ignore me or are too busy giggling and laughing in a corner.

The service is okay its not something I would complain about. The price on their tech is fairly reasonable on the quality of the tech you will be receiving. The range of tech available is exceptional its not very large you wont find all the laptops or phones that you see on YouTube but youll definitely find the kind of tech that will get you by. There is obviously a range of tech in each and every type there is entry level, mid-range and high end tech so essentially everyone is catered for.

Took forever to get someones attention to help me, the sales staff had to be called from the break room as there was no one on the floor. Eventually I was helped by a decent salesperson but the cashier wasnt friendly at all.

Overall the store probably has what you looking for. Sadly poor customer service gives them this rating. My mom was in the store on two separate occasions and both times got ignored.When calling to complain about it the woman was short and rather abrupt.Definitely making use of the online shop because clearly the staff in store dont care about customer satisfaction.

Bought something on 19/11/19 (19 November 2019) It is now 12 December 2019 and I am still trying to register my warrantee!! Iv emailed to which incredible responded saying they need more details from me. I then followed up and sent all the information they need. And then they go dark. No response. I contact online chat to be told I never emailed once. I have screenshots and the original email thread that they responded to but they maintain Iv never emailed them.I think i mailed them 20 times today... I still dont have my product I bought from them registered under warrantee.

Please keep your incompetent staff away from the phone. I specifically called ahead to find out if an particular item was in stock at your store. I was assured that 2 versions suitable to my needs were in stock. I make a trip specifically to Cavendish just for this item only figure out that said incompetent staff member didnt actually check for the item and instead simply looked it up on a pc...which he then claims he must have looked for the wrong item. Seriously why bother with employing so many staff in your stores if they cant handle a simple task like checking a shelf for stock. Waste of my time and his salary.

The repair people are really nice... theyll assist you in anyway they can. The store is a bit pricey though. But certain items are reasonably priced.

Bought an Asus FX550J from them in 2015. No issues. Confident in my previous experience, I decided to upgrade in 2019 and bought an MSi GP63 Leopard 8RE. Got a faulty Hard Drive. Sent it in for repair. Was told to wait 21 days for a response. It took nearly 4 and a half weeks and I got no follow ups. Perhaps theyd hoped i would have forgotten about it and they just get to walk away with the cash? Might have happened were it not for the fact that this laptop set me back R25 000.When i called Id often be told that they are busy with another customer, my details got taken and Im never called back or sometimes I was lucky enough to be transferred to a dead line and hung up on. This happened to me 6 times. 6 calls with no response or support. Eventually I was told I could come and pick up my item. When i asked for more details I was simply told Just Google it.Their head office is friendly and helpful but the Cavendish branch is anything but. Id advise people to stay away if u were hoping to get good after sale service and support. The phone staff seem helpful enough but a certain member(s) of their tech support guys seem to be mercenaries. Will not be supporting them in the future

Customer service is no better than average. The shop itself is good and the products carried are decent, but from my experience the employees on the floor have limited knowledge.

I purchased a laptop from the Cavendish branch just over 2 years ago. I had problems with the laptop screen and wasnt sure about how long my warrenty lasted. I went to their tech bar and the gentleman to whom I spoke was not helpful at all. I was in need of further assistance however, he had already walked away from me without making sure it was clear about what to do next. I walked over to another computer store in the mall who gave me the assistance I needed in 2 minutes.Dissatisfied with Incredible Connections service and will no longer be walking into their store.

About the most helpful and willing Tech store to visit. It seems that in this store people are there to assist and advise you, most of there other stores you feel like you are an inconvenience for walking into the store, especially the Waterfront and Canal Walk stores
