The Flat White is excellent. Velvety and smooth. A great little coffee shop in a city in which there is no shortage of coffee shops from which to choose. I’m very happy to have discovered and chosen Mischu!

The coffee here truly deserves its award. I started with a double shot macchiato, and the taste was exquisite. Little to zero acidity, with a sweet burnt aftertaste. No sugar added. Reminded me of the smoky taste of French roast, though not quite there yet.I ordered an americano next with hazelnut syrup. Perfect. If you’re ever around sea point in the Atlantic board, this is one coffee shop you must visit for the love of coffee. The baristas here do it for the love of the brew. It’s more than a job, it’s a calling.

Great coffee but incredibly slow service with no one letting you know if things are delayed.Waiting more than 30 minutes for a poached egg and avo on toast seemed a bit much.

This is supposed to be sea points high quality coffee joint. Serving their own blend of Isabelle of I dont know what as the barista didnt know either. Set up and lay out is nice enough and clientele regular locals. They even do macha tea but the Rosamond they got could be better quality.For me at least thats where the interest ended. I perhaps should have been more judgemental about whats on the shelf (or whats not - e.g. any decent filter offering), no filter on the menu and I seriously cant be the only 1 who shudders when the response to flat white, pls is what size?? 🤷The cardinal sin was then committed by serving it up in a full 8oz cup with bitter low quality coffee.....🤯😵They do have loyalty card but am *not* impressed and suffice to say wont be taking advantage of it!!!It is a laid back cafe good for lounging but internet is capped at 600mb. Good enough I guess but how much can it be to just let customers surf unhinged?? Maybe a lot .....anyhoo ...off to find cape towns better coffee places or I could just make my own (always have a plan b!! ;-) )

Really great coffee at a reasonable price. The coffee is consistently good and enjoyable. The staff are always friendly and willing to assist. The quality of the beans are fantastic. All in all, a wonderful coffee shop located in the heart of Sea Point.

Having visited more coffee shops than I can even begin to remember, the Mischu Isabella Blend is the best Ive tasted. Full bodied, smooth, with a fruity and slightly chocolatey finish,this blend resonates with my taste buds.Having not yet visited the Mischu coffee shop,my rating is based on the experience I had at one of there mobile units outside Scalzinis in Monte Vista. The baristas were professional, welcoming and friendly without being pretentious. Great coffee at a very reasonable price.

Coffee and croissant was good but the vibe inside is a bit strange and unfriendly. There is no music and the acoustic in this place is really bad. It’s very loud and the place was not that full. I would only come back for a take away, it’s not a relaxing atmosphere at all.

The coffee here is AWESOME!!! Its that special house blend theyve figured out... hands down the best coffee in Cape Town. I would (and often do) definitely go back there again and again.

Great joint for a solid coffee fix. A nice interior to sit and lounge if you want to people watch or do work. The wifi is pretty good and more than anything the staff is friendly. Happiness always makes me smile! For a hot day definitely try the Cafe Freezo. They also make all of their baked goods in house and wont disappoint.

Good Cappucino. Didnt see the rest of the menu but my dining companion had a muffin which was tasty too. Not cheap...think Starbucks in terms of pricing. Limited seating on the street, more inside.

What a great space! I walk into Mischu and immediately feel like I am on holiday. Great coffee, great vibe and a very good team. These guys know coffee!

25 minute wait for R79 eggs on stale toast. Told the kitchen was busy, there where 2 tables eating and the place was half empty. Never again.

Unfriendly, arrogant male staff. We walked in and was greeted by two barristas who looked like they could not be bothered. We bypassed ordering breakfast and left

Wife and I went for personal training session with Mikhael to learn to use our new machine properly. Was so much fun. Mikhael is passionate about coffee and sharing that knowledge with others. In no time we were making decent coffee.Course makes an excellent couples gift or something to do together for fun. Slightly pricey, but well worth the three hours spent there.

Lacklustre service, tea okay. No food after 2:30pm so dont copy my journey for tea and something to eat after this time. Decor needing TLC looking a little worn and dated.

Its easy to see why this is an award-winning cafe. I loved the red cappuccino and the atmosphere (a quiet spot for working or a perfect spot for people watching).

I was really looking forward to trying this coffee but it really was disappointing. After all the awards, etc, there were high expectations but Im afraid this really is no where near the best coffee in CT😔

I came into the store this morning and asked very politely to speak to a manager ,not to complain but to just show and drop off a sample of a Kombucha Tea that the company I work with is promoting. I couldnt believe how rude the lady I spoke to was,she bearly looked at me and just said very rudly we dont have a manager will not come back to Mischue nor will I recommend it to anyone,not impressed.
