Very dissapointed with the portion of calamari, for R140 I was expecting more than a starter portion. Wife had the portobello mushroom fillet pasta dish- was very tasty ,good portion of pasta but fillet was a little scarce. Cannot compare to previous ownership whos portions were more than generous. Will find it hard to recommend to others going forward

Suggest the new owners of the restaurant invest some capital so that what was a special place serving generous portions doesn’t look like a cost cutting excercise

We have been using the Italian Club and can attest that atmosphere is warm, the food is sumptuous, great service from an amazing team. Looking forward to our next visit.

Impressive Sunday menu: 4 courses of authentic Italian cuisine. Meals were made celiac safe gluten free for certain family members. Friendly family vibe.

Portions are not what they use to be. Schnitzel may as well be served on a side plate, you would need to order 3 lasagne to get something decent out of it. The bar staff were extremely rude, I have never experienced anything like that in my life. No management in sight. Very sad to say that I will never be going back and I would not bother spending a single cent here again. Very disappointed.

We celebrated a 49th birthday party at Italian Club. We found the initial welcoming very inviting. The table drinks we organized swiftly. And the staff and band are amazing! The food is GREAT!!! good service, for a good price!

At a birthday party of a friend .When having a big table and no one brings Bills to people one can forget especially if one is dancing taken photos and enjoying a birthday party. Need to tell the Italian club when people are finished there food they need to bring those Bills to the table not so long after as people can forget.also think the sound system need a little TLC as it was sounding not clear and basie.

Nothing can be really called authentic after the new management took over. Potions have down sized and prices sky-rocketed. The pizza base were all wrong too. There are many other authentic Italian restaurants in Table view area by real Italian families which respect traditions and only charge 2/3 of the price with bigger potion. I wont suggest to try this restaurant anymore especially it failed the name of Italian club Cape Town.

A small but well stocked Deli shop. Lots of Italian specialities at reasonable prices.

Coming here for an event, I have to say I had fun. The hall was large enough to accommodate a large group of ballroom dancers. Not sure if they did the decor or an external business had to be hired for the draping but it looked good. Big ups to the food😍that was the star of the night. Enjoyed the ample parking as well as the delightful wait staff.

During Covid times, staff cuts and reduced cashflow has limited menu options. We need to just be kind and mindful that it will take MOST eateries to get back up to speed. Having said that, food was a mixed bag of very good and average. Very reasonably priced though. Will definitely still support.

Hi. We were there for my birthday on the 6th Nov. The entertainment was amazing. Food was good but the price for a 200g filled was outrageous. There were 2 on the menu...one for R130 which came with a mushrooms sauce and wedges and then another for R170...total ripoff. All we received on our plate was a small piece of meat...a few potato wedges and no sauce. We left still hungry. The menu and portions needs some work guys. This is a very popular venue and you guys are getting bad reviews. Please spruce up your game.

Must be post Covid but really disappointed. Been coming here for years and always had authentic Italian ingredients with well prepared food. Completely new menu that uses same ingredients for three meals and badly made. Even the olive oil was cheap blend. What’s happening guys ? I hope you get back to what you were. So sorry things have been tough but rather do things well with a few ingredients. Enjoyed the music on Saturday night.

In a group of 60 over the weekend. Pasta + pizza was great - so too the entertainment. But bad bar service and over- inflated liquor prices left a bad taste. Cheapest bottle of dry white was R150! No variety at all - like in the past - only Durbanville Hills. The barman was wearing a T-shirt with DH logo....... what a rip-off!!!

Usually the experience is awesome, but upon arriving at 7pm, we were told the ribs were sold out, and the place was barely full. Very disappointing, left to another venue, they told us to come back the next evening....

I love the Italian club! Its a great place for a function, a celebration, a family dinner or supper for two! Friday nights are great fun with their live band covering all decades of music and the dance floor is the best way to lose the kilos from their delicious and generously portioned italian food!

Last time I was here was to meet friends for dinner. Lovely evening! This time round were here to watch Late Final. Another awesome evening! Love this place, pity I live so far, otherwise would be visiting more often!

Value for money. Generous portions. Not a great area but neat inside. Had a couple arguing at a table behind us. Swearing at causing a scene. We went to sit at a different table. But made our experience unpleasant. Will go again to try pizza. They have nice specials. Friday and Saturday evening live band.

Food, waiters, ambience - all awesome. Starters - calamari and antipasto - delectable. Main meal portions are very healthy and desserts were good. All in all a lovely evening with live entertainment - dancing at a very good price. Ample parking.

I come here only for the many music shows held here. These are really good, with mostly rock / jazz / blues of the 50s to 80s covered. Good events venue with two bars, a large hall and clean restrooms.

Food was terrific and plentiful. Sunday lunch was 3 courses but the portion sizes are quite generous so be prepared to take food home! Wonderful and energetic vibe especially for Sunday lunch time and the service was courteous and attentive.Venue isnt snazzy but it works. There is a lot of space in the dining hall. There are 2 play areas for the kids - one inside and one outside. There is plenty of parking too. I will be coming back!

I celebrated my birthday there and myself and all of my 40 guests had a great evening. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. If you book for a special occasion definitely go with one of their set menu options. Can get noisy and very vibey on a Saturday so chat to them for a private venue if you want something more private.

Amazing vibe, good food and the servers are always friendly and helpful. 1st Sunday of the month, 3 course buffet meal. Always an abundance of tasty food with lots on offer and a play area for the kids.Great experience all round.

Love our local Italians! The best pizzas especially on a tuesday when the special is on. Restaurant is huge and not always full so not much atmosphere but all the food is delicious!

Basic but very nice and pleasant. Service can be a bit slow because it can get busy as a little understaffed but our man maintained his sense of humor.We had the rib special which was good value for money.There is also the deli for some lovely Italian goodies, with some really good specials.

Lovely Italian Republic day lunch. Main course arrived with spinach that I dont eat. Asked waiter for a side plate to take the spinach off my plate. Without asking a plate of salad arrived at the table to replace the spinach. Going the extra mile. Definitely worth visiting.

This place is huge! It took me 32yrs to go there. Thanks to the festival organisers I finally got a chance to visit. Looks like theres an Italian food store permanently there. Would love to go eat at the restaurant one day, the food looked amazing. That will be my next goal.

Nice place and a great atmosphere. Food took a while to come out of kitchen but it was good food none the less. Worth the visit. Not my first visit and definitely not my last.

We celebrated my father-in-laws birthday on a Saturday evening recently. The food was delicious and ample. Recommend the lamb shank. The live band played some great golden oldies. Whole family enjoyed their meal and danced to the vibes 😀

Visited for a craft workshop day convenient. Parking adequate if a bit rustic. Catering good. A pleasant venue but didnt dine in restaurant. Seemed efficient and well maintained.

Great family restaurant with good food. They have a play area for kids. The pizza is amazing and they have a Tuesday pizza special. The once a month buffet lunch is great value and food is always very good.

The pizza ordered was delicious as such the food is recommended. There is a bar around the corner from the dining area which has a smoking room so thats a plus.Sadly the service was not the best in fact it was non existent as the waiter often disappeared for ages on end and was never around to order new drinks.

Fantastic food with almost a home cooked feel at really great prices. Nice deli to pick up some authentic Italian ingredients. Service, however, really does suffer when they busy. My advice, get there early for a sitting. Bonus is plenty of parking. A real hidden gem of Cape Town from a culinary perspective.

Food was below average. Italian Sausage is apparently some sort of stale spicy boerewors. It also wouldve been nice to know beforehand that your R20 towards the band covers one of the members putting wigs on people for an hour and a half. Would not recommend.

The new years function was excellent, the food was very good, service was good and the music exceptional. All together the evening was truly amazing, very well worth a visit.

We went here for the end of year function for Killarney. It was a very clean and tidy place to host events and the entire event went very smooth.

Played football here. Nice big court, can field up to 7 players per side. Courts are very well maintained, and the ball rolls and bounces true on the pitch.Be sure to keep your shots low... kicking over the fence here could mean a lost ball, as there are boundary walls separating the courts area and the river.Altogether a great venue with 2 large courts, decent lighting, gravel parking (but spacious). Fees are reasonable (about R50 per player). Call them to make a booking.

I mainly play 5 a side soccer here. R350 for 1 hour if I am not mistaken.

The Italian Club is wheelchair friendly, the food is brilliant & the service is great. We have been there a few times & hope to go again in the New Year.
