I like the new layout recently added (replaced the eating area with tellers, store feels 40% bigger).I wont exactly get my monthly shopping done here, but way less traffic means visits are less than 10 minutes if you want a snack, quick meal or party preparations.*free parking up to 15 minutes (Aug 2021)

First Pick and Pay that I have been into for many years that thestaff were helpful and friendly. I will actually go back there. Was actually greeted and thanked at the till!!

A small grocery pnp good to get the basics you forgot from your main shopping at the mall. However it is located on main road junction in Kenilworth which is slowly becoming trendy. The spot has two famous coffee shops Bootleggers and Vida e caffe, wine shop, bike centre and a Woolworths food.. open space environment

Love the new setup , managed to get some fresh spinach and good price. Keep the veggie section fresh

Staff working on floor 1 casher very grumpy her counter was dirty and I ask her to clean it after customer and I get attutude from her it was my 1st at the shop surely will be my last😞😞😞

We have to stand in a line for what feels like forever, obeying the law that has been set out due to the virus. I had a police officer (not wearing her badge cut infront of me when I was next to go in. When I confronted her the response I got back was do you not see who I work for. Your secretary at the door who was sanitizing hands told me to go back in line and wait. This is a disgrace and a perfect example of how certain authorities abuse their careers

This branch doesnt stock many basic items, eg sparkling water, baking powder, etc. Fresh items - milk, chicken- are often on the shelf beyond expiry date and at times are even off. More of an inconvenience store than anything else.

It is the most convenient little shop, but how can they be out of ice for more than a week in summer and the festive season? Same goes for charcoal/braai brickets (24 hours later still not replenished) Loads of people pop in there for seasonal essentials, so roll with the seasons, you deserve a 5 star rating

Im amazed how such a small Pick n Pay has such a wide variety and I rarely cant find what Im looking for. Their staff are always friendly and its sore convenient that Knead and Bootleggers are in the same centre. Not to mention the ample underground parking.Definitely better than having to go to Cavendish down the road.

Clean, neatly arranged shop with efficient, friendly service. Love that its small so its quick to pop in and out.

Poor management. Beer in display fridges arent cold. Non alcoholic beer half of the time not in stock. Staff are pretty clueless when asked about these products.

Small but good for emerency shop

Shelves are overstocked and never match price labels. Fresh meat is questionable. Could do with major improvements. To make matters worse, some staff dont wear ANY protective gear during the pandemic (no masks, etc)!

This is a Pnp that’s more of a convenient store than a regular Pnp....very small,they carry only the very basic necessities but definitely not to go and get everything on your shopping list....the main attraction is actually the Knead coffee shop that occupy the front of the store...it has a buzz and its super cosy,and if you are a Knead client then 👏🏻👏🏻..... the Pnp is handy though.

Not having small things like sachets of spices. Good for quick in and out bakery not always ready with fresh items and rolls a disgrace VERY light and full of holes massive ones VERY bad compared to Newlands Pick n Pay

Pick n Pay Local in Kenilworth seems to be more like a mini Woolies than a Pick n Pay in terms of the quality of the products as well as the cleanliness of the shop and ultimately the prices of the products as well. Conveniently located on the Main road

Tiny store which has basic stocks but is fine for a quick shop.

Small convenience supermarket. Not a big range of products, definitely skewed towards upmarket goods. Single line for the cashiers is usually quite quick. 15 minutes free parking, or a longer period free if you spend over a certain amount (not a large amount) at PnP. Also a PnP liquor there.

All the staff and the manager were so very very friendly smiling and helpful. It is so great to feel so welcomed in a store.

Very small and more like a convenience store. Surprisingly it has most of what you may be looking for. Queues can get a bit long as there are only 3 cashiers.

A lovely little convenience store. Stocked with the basics and has a great cosmopolitan feel about it.

For some reason they stopped people eing able to pay small items in the bottle store.Now you have to stand for ages when half the tills are not open

Got the basics, cigarettes, cool drinks, some chocolate, chips, you know basic stop at the garage and get stuff stuff.If they dont stock condoms then they should.

Its a smaller local PnP but the staff seemed friendly and helpful and the store closes at 9pm, at least on Monday...It also has pretty much everything and appears to have a coffee shop inside although it was closed at 20:15.

I found the staff to be very helpful especially when I needed specific items just before closing time... it is not a very large Store but they are pretty well stocked and there is a Pick n Pay Liquor just across the entrance to the store
