Absolutely disgusting service.My sister bought a cheap burner phone at ackermans. The phone specified that it could Facebook , so she took the phone expecting to at least be able to message on the phone and low and behold the phone couldnt even do that. We went to ackermans and tried to return the phone and the manager(well I dont know if it was a manager because after speaking to her she went to call a manager)We told them that1.) The phone is slow2.) The Facebook page wont even load at all.3.) The cache needs to be cleared every minutes in order for the page to load fast(which in the end never even helped)The response we received was that they dont do refunds and my sister should of checked with them if they phone was of good quality and/or the phone could Facebook and they would of been honest and said no. In which I responded that if they know that the phone is not of good quality then it shouldnt be on the shelf in the first place. We brought back the phone because there is something wrong with it and its not doing what the box specified it could do. The 3rd lady that rolled out of the back of the room basically echoed what the first and second lady told us (and also saying there was no airtime on the phone and just the day before my sister bought airtime, she didnt even check the balance . She just said theres no airtime like what???)and it was at this point where I lost it.The no refund policy is absolute hogwash because what that leads to is a customer taking the phone home and finding out that the phone does not work then tough luck NO REFUNDS. At one point the third lady even said Theres nothing wrong with the phone . Then why are we here arguing in front of the store? For fun? Mind you my sister bought the phone the previous day and brought it back the very next day. Its not as if we came back a month later. After hearing all 3 ladies speaking we were constantly being cut off and spoken over and when you raise your voice louder then youre the rude one.The attitude towards the whole situation was well its a cheap phone what did you expect we expect the phone to do what the box specified.. nothing more, nothing less.Anyway why Im writing this review right now is because we were called back after I laid a complaint with customer service and weentold we can drop the phone off and collect the refund and when myself and my sister entered the store the cashier that assisted my sister says to the manager you see, theyre here and her response was jah they went to lay a complaint mos to which the cashier responds ooh jinne. What made it worse is that they never acknowledged us when we came in and we were literally speaking about us as if we werent even standing there. May I suggest more training for both ladies as its obvious that neither know how to work in a customer service environment.The lady helping us today was a sweetheart and was very polite. They lady I phoned on Tuesday for assistance was great too. I dont know their names but they were very respectful and in turn the respect was given back.Ackermans ottery do better .

Helpful staff and lovely range of clothing and very clean

Not much help from staff actually no assistance... had to find the long pole to reach baby clothes on the higher racks... they just stand and stare at you ...

Can i just say, I cant understand how your store has a landline but the number is always engaged. Like do your staff take it off the hook, sit on personal calls whole day... What precisely could they be doing on a store phone line if their job requires them to be visible in store and at the cash out section.
