Ive been going to a male-owned tailor and I wanted to support a female-owned tailor for a change so I took my jacket to be taken in. I had the following issues with this place:1) I was told that it would take 5 working days to complete, but it took 10 working days and two weekends. Not really an issue for me, but just keep it in mind.2) I asked them to take the arms and bust in a few cm as it was too baggy, and they didnt do both sides evenly. When I returned the jacket the next day, the lady first said to me that I must hurry because they wanted to close (I stepped through the door at 4:20, their operating hours are 8am-5pm)3) when I explained that the arms were not even and the right side was too tight, pulling the jacket skew around the bust, she argued with me, telling me that its in my head and saying she would know immediately if it were uneven and that Im mistaken. She even went on to say that she isnt chasing me away because we want to close but that there definitely nothing wrong with the alterations they did, and if there were, she would see it immediately.So now I have to take my jacket to my original tailor and spend more money fixing their mistakes. Christie Creations was cheaper, but you get what you pay for.
