This place is amazing. If you love a good dessert or have a sweet itch that needs to be satisfied, this is it. The service is excellent and your orders come quick - been here twice when it was packed and didnt have to wait more than 20 mins tops for our orders.Recommend the Alaskan Waffle. Its amazing with a mix of ice cream, meringue and dark/bitter chocolate to compliment the sweetness of everything else.

Started of with a badly, was told their signature dish was unavailable due to being sold out... Was disappointing until a kind and friendly waitress, Nichole had come to the rescue and changed our experience by making sure we got to taste one of the Crepes.... Menu pages missing on one @ our table... Finally, I believe they could do better by staff training and keeping their resources updated.

I had the privilege to be treated to a lovely Dip n Dip experience this past week. I cannot think that it is possible to put this into words as you need to experience it for yourself. The dessert was absolutely fantastic. The staff very friendly and professional. Clearly people enjoy coming here as there was always a queue within 5 minutes after the people were seated. Yet, the staff goes our of their way to tend to everyone promptly. All I can say is that my love for chocolate was satisfied beyond my expectation.

If you are a chocolate lover, then this is for you. Very busy and service very slow. Presentation of deserts, made it look even more delectable

A dessert menu so good that choosing between all the scrumptious looking items is a difficult choice.The desserts look in person every much as good as the pictures on the menu.Staff are highly competent.Surpassed my expectations.

Went on the 30th of September for the first time and to celebrate my birthday. The desert we had was delicious, definitely 2 people can share. But the service was horrible. The waitress didnt check up on us at all. And we waited nearly 30 minutes for the waitress to look our way to signal for bill. Not even friendly nor gave us a smile.

Heaven for a person with a sweet tooth! I had walked past this place on several occasions and I finally got down to trying them out this weekend. They make the most amazing desserts with high quality ingredients. From the chocolate, down to the ice-cream, everything tasted great. I would highly recommend this place. It WILL satisfy that sweet craving 😊

First time at DipnDip. An absolutely decadent treat. Dipndip is an international franchise and recently arrived in South Africa. Located at the V&A Waterfront. Store number 6244. The owner is Lebanese - born Zikar Kraidieh. He is very welcoming and accommodating especially taking into consideration people with disabilities. The desserts are of a very good quality, massive quanties so I recommend sharing on your first visit. The service was excellent.

The food is very filling and nicely portioned. It is extremely sweet and chocolatey so well fitted for those with a sweet tooth for chocolate. The service is rather slow but staff do attempt to be friendly even after long hard days.

I find it interesting that this has so many good reviews. I had the chocolate fondant which while a decent portion, tasted quite horrible. It does not seem to be good quality chocolate and made me feel nauseous. I also had an iced Spanish latte which was served to me in a plastic, takeaway cup and tasted very bland. My husband had the brownie cookie in a pan which was overly sweet and I felt that some parts of it were raw. I am not sure if it was meant to be like that. This place is overpriced with subpar taste and quality. I will not be going back.Edit: I got a call from the manager/owner on the same day that I wrote the original review above which I really appreciated. He was accommodating and apologised for my bad experience and attempted to send me something. For this, I have updated the rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

Death by chocolate 😍 Amazing if you have a sweet tooth

Fantastic food and service. The menu is filled to the brim with tasty treats and everything is absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are very generous and prices are quite reasonable to match, especially is location. Staff are always very friendly and helpful as well as follow all covid protocols. The only complaint one could have is that when youve been once you wont be able to stop coming to try different options. A truly fantastic idea and desert restaurant.

A chocolate lovers paradise! Dipndips menu has so many delicious items that its really tough to choose what to get! I would highly recommend: the mighty crepe, Alaskan waffle, chocolate fondant and the Spanish iced latte with hazelnut! Wow, incredible quality food matched with great, friendly service and a nice vibe. Halaal friendly too!

I have never been the type of person to go out for dessert. This place changed that. Thus far, Ive tried and enjoyed the cream puffs and Flapjacks. While most restaurants will serve up pretty predictable home-style desserts, these were exceptional and unique. This is far from your average cake shop. They also make a pretty nice espresso.

I dont know how to send you my details.So we went to v&a only to have dipndip but there was a queue so we ended up having unframed and colcachio first hoping the queue would be gone. Lol no such luck. So we thought they must be as good as the reviews online. Waited forever to get a hostess to see to us. Then waited longer for a table only to have it stink like degerm and something filthy. Got it cleaned again and the table still smelled like a drain gone wrong. After ordering the food took over 50 minutes. Wanted to cancel the order twice but they said it was coming till I got up and then still 5 minutes later it came. By that time I dont know if it was the wait or If we were sick on fumes but the level of taste of the food was lacking. The eclair stuff tasted odd. The marshmallows were like they stood in the air too long. Old ish. The strawberries werent sweet. Cant hold that against them and all along I was thinking I wish someone said we have delays are you okay with waiting longer than usual. We left almost at closing time and the place was still pretty busy. The waffle wasnt good either. Wish I rather went to get double my order of simply Asia lol so I went to simply Asia to get the weird taste out my mouth from what was a shockingly bad experience.

The selection of desserts are good. Most of which are very rich and chocolatey. I had a classic waffle dusted in icing with seasonal fruit, whipped cream and drizzle of melted chocolate which was devine and not rich at all. The only reason for my average rating is because the desserts are quite costly for the portion size and quality.

If you are a real sweet tooth person.you should go try dipndip waterfront. The people working there are friendly and their desserts are amazing. And their pineapple juice is like eating an actual pineapple😉👌. I really like this place and i enjoy myself here.

So many different varieties of deserts, great value for money and great quality of chocolate. First time I saw some unique items presented differently than other cafes. No doubt you will be filled with sugary goodness when you walk away from here.

Lits waited in a long line then i came to the front of the line and the waiter tells me lemme take down your phone number and then Ill phone you when a table opens upSo I leave and walk around the mall, no call after an hour, so I go back and see theres still a long line. I speak to the manager and they tell me, sorry its first come first serve, youll have to stand in the line, can you not see the long line here, im sorryI explain that Ive been in a line before and that I was promised a call when a table opened up and they reply with, okay you can just wait here, sorry its first come first serveThis business definitely doesnt know how to treat or speak to potential customers, wouldnt recommend them to anyone, wouldnt spend a cent at this place because theyve wasted my time and have the audacity to speak to me in that manner.

I just see that our boss, Dr. Honsa, posted a bad post for this waterfront company. I been there myself and never again, incompetent staff and endless wait, but i am surprised he posted , as he always only have good things to say and never posts bad stuff, so it must be serious.I then start reading the reviews, and see, that most of them are self-posted, so most likely fake, .. I am sure the owners libanese friends post for him- or he does it himself (see the names?!) very dodgy.. .. never saw REAL guests post the whole menu on google, that is just fake advertisement for themselves. I am sure 80% of the 5 star posts are fake. Must be reported and banned , in my viewMaria

Desserts were excellent unfortunately the wait for tables were long and they have no system with regard to where to seat customers. Supervisor didnt know what was happening she confused everyone at dip.n dip and everyone waiting. When we eventually got a table and our desserts. We had to wait another hour for our coffees , which we had to ask for again . Dissapointed in the service.😞

Disorganised, people wait for almost 2hrs for dessert not even food. Seating is ill-managed, waiters are over-worked and under-staffed. Not all options are available on the menu and simply scratched out, way over-priced for waffles and pancakes. Manager is unfriendly and has no way of speaking to his staff let alone customers. Tables stand empty where smaller groups of people can be seated and there are not enough chairs for the amount of tables. Not worth the wait, Id highly recommend The Creamery instead #TheCreamery

Service extremely slow

Terrible service. Went late morning and waited extremely long for a crepe and pineapple juice. After that to wait another 30 minutes for the bill and another 20 minutes for the card terminal. Wish I could give a zero start rating.

Last night was our first time going to this place and service was pathetic. The place was full so we had to wait in a queue. After minutes of being ignored the manager came around with a list which our names were added to, along with our contact number so that we could be contacted once seats became available. Its the next day and were still waiting on a call.
