Wonderful experience we had at the Lindt Chocolate Studio. The Truffle class was wonderful, and I learned so much! Me and my wife had an absolute ball making the truffles. The tutors/presenters were extremely knowledgeable, and very helpful. They made the lesson so much easier, and enjoyable. Will definitely recommend one of the classes at List Chocolate Studio!

Tried the new Gelata choc ice-cream, it was delish. Although I was disappointed at the promotion, as the promo stated buy any 3 products and get 30% discount, it was the Heritage day promo. When we got to the till, I was told by the cashier, this excluded the pick n mix selection and the choc bars. This exclusion was not stated in the promo box. We paid so much when I could have saved.

We had a great time. Excellent explanation before the actual class started. Had a great time. The Lindt-team was very helpful at all times. Will definitely go again.

Had such a fun with some work colleagues on a team build here recently. It was wonderful to learn how my favourite chocolate brand is made. This is a chocolate lovers paradise! We did the easiest course, which were the truffles, although mine didnt look great, they were delicious. The Lindt team were also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.

I had a ball making macaroons with Dino. Loved it. Will def be back and can highly recommend this.

Fabulous experience! Booked and attended a cup cake cooking class. Super fun and informative experience. Lots of interesting facts about chocolates. The store stocks all the latest flavours too. Everything was ready and set up for our class, including aprons and a chefs hat. Recommend this activity for couples, friends and family. And you get to take your creations home!

We had a masterclass here a while ago and the staff is amazing. They gave us all the knowledge we needed about chocolate and how its made. The fondant we made tasted even better. I would do it again.

This is a fun activity to be done with friends, family or solo.The Macarons and Ganache cake courses, you’re able to take the goodies that were baked in studio, home. The Chocolate Soufflé course, the goods has to be consumed in class, it’s messy to take the left overs home, so it’s essentially wasting, as the portion is large and the dessert is rich. If you like a warm gooey texture, with a slightly crispy top, then this is for you.Limited learning occurs and the ingredients are pre-made (I.e. ganache) and placed at the station, so the ‘hard labour’ is following the sequence of the steps and touching a tool here and there.However, the course facilitators are helpful and knowledgeable.Recommendation: The Macaron course.A post course perk: any purchases made at the Lindt studio store, you will receive a 10% discount.The price for the courses are medium range.

If you a chocoholic like me you can get carried away in the shop. I was in heaven😁 My daughter went to the cake making class, she enjoyed it so much.

As avid bakers, we loved the macaron making class. Our chocolatier Raymond was incredibly knowledgeable and shared many tips and tricks so that we could recreate it at home. Wish we had taken notes for the tips, but they do send you home with a recipe and 14 of your own made macarons. Especially enjoyed using Kitchen Aid mixer for the first time. Everything was very structured to ensure each participants goes home with decent macarons.

Absolutely incredible experience! We did the truffle course and it was such a wonderful way to spend a Sunday. Easy to follow and really well organised by the team at Lindt.If you do decide to do a class, make sure to get to your class 15 minutes before the start, and wear flat, comfortable shoes because you will stand for the duration of the class. Would strongly recommend this class for any level of experience, as they cater to the complete beginner as well as those with more experience too!

What an exciting shop to visit! They have chocolate cooking classes that you can book to attend with your friends. They have a small coffee & sweet treats section at the back, where you can get your chocolate fix!! And dont forget the Lindt balls..... balls of all flavours wherever you look!!

Ive done both the cupcake and chocolate cake experience and enjoyed both. The cake one is more technical as they teach you about tempering and to make the chocolate collar and shavings. A fun baking experience, especially if you dont bake much. They make it super easy for everyone to follow.

Wonderful place to buy chocolates and hopefully I’ll get to go one-day and actually make chocolate there. But the staff are really friendly 😊

The classes are so worth it! I did the macron class with my boyfriend and not only did we go home with some delicious macarons, but we also bought a bag full of chocolate with the discount we were giving after the class! Extremely friendly and helpful staff too. I will definitely be coming back soon.

I love this place. Option to do a course here is a fabulous gift for your friend who loves to be in the kitchen trying new things.Great variety of chocolate.I also love he ice cream cones here. One thing to note is you can get an ice cream stamp card for which you one need 5 stamps to get a free scoop.Definitely worth the visit.

Did the ultimate chocolate cake class. I think the word class is used a bit loosely in this instance as it isnt so much for learning but more for entertainment. Thought it was a bit pricy for a very small cake, specially with the host saying that he will not replace any ingredients we mess (youd think that 3 extra blocks of chocolate and a little cream at cost price would be doable at almost R500 per head.) I would recommend for a group of friends if money isnt a problem. It is disappointing as far as a cooking class goes.

Lindt Chocolate Studio, situated in the Silo District offeres a variety of baking classes. I attended the macaron class. All equipment and ingredients are measured up catered for to ensure flop-proof. A wonderful experience to learn a new skill. Additionally, a thorough presention with a lesson on how chocolates are sourced, made and graded. One can attend alone or with company. Attendees were offered a 10% discount to shop in the lindt store. It is interactive and you walk home with the experience, the recipe and your baked goods!

Besides the chocolates, their cake-of-the-day is delicious.

I loved it!! The chef/instructor/staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and professional! I really enjoyed it so much! I just wish the instructor could speak a bit louder, but I think it might just be the masks/face shield that made her sound unclear. Overall, GREAT experience!!

Perfect end to our Cape Town trip. We got to know how to make and decorate Lindt truffles. The workshop was conducted by very knowledgeable and fun chocolatier. You receive your own set of sweets, special clothes and you get to take the chocolates home with you! If you like chocolate it’s a must!
