John is a committed ceramist who has been active in the ceramics scene for many years. He consistently produces innovative and inspirational work. If you are a ceramist visiting Cape Town you have to meet him and see his work. His work deserves to be in the Tate and in collections of Sheiks and he is working away at making this happen. Mind blowing. World class ceramics.

I visited the Montebello Design Centre last week and met John there. Hes an incredibly talented artist and told me about the techniques that he discovered that he used to create his unique tiles. I also visited his house with the tiled gable at 101 Loopstreet. In the gallery you can buy two tiles for 100 Rand, which I did. One of them you can keep, the other one is for the gable. Great Capetonian lanmark this building!
