Excellent service. I opened my account and got my new phone and watch in the same time. The team at Telkom were friendly,helpful and had a deep knowledge base on the questions posed about devices ins and outs as well as their contracts.

The service in store is very good but if you call no one answers a phone. The phone number is constantly ringing but no answer. That is really not good.

Besides the queue and occasional arrogance from whom ever is guiding the queue and the lack of a working ticket system (as it doesnt seem to print anymore?) the place is quite nice.My favorite go to person has been Krynauw. Hes always spot on and able to help me, even when the other staff say it cannot be done he finds a way and meets me at my requests, which havent ever been unreasonable, just unusual.Telkom Mobile has good service delivery and good prices in general, however as of late in Gordons Bay area, my calls keep dropping and my network resetting. My phone hasnt changed at all so Im assuming its the tower out in this area.Otherwise, overall, A for quality service, support is sometimes tricky as I sometimes end up with technical requests at very non technical people and they dont always realize its best to route me away to someone more technical rather than to argue with a technical person about what is and isnt possible.

Telkom forcing me to take Huawei phone. Staff could inform me that Garmin should work, only to not tell me that Strava is definitely not working with Huawei. Dealt with Ziyanda and Lindiwe on 16-Oct

Conroy Aaron at Telkom in Somerset Mall is really a very bright light at the end of a very dark tunnel. A big frustration is getting hold of someone at a Telkom call Centre who can help, and then happening upon an employee, who helped several times outside of his working hours, actually trying everything to resolve my query eventhough it is not even in his scope of work. He outshines everyone at the call Centre and the store. He understood my query, was very sympathetic and went above and beyond to help. The staff is nice and helpful, but there is always n que (mainly the reason for only 3 stars), but a bit better now with covid keeping more people at home, they dont always have stock, but the staff is willing to source from other branches. They do sanitize and do a temperature check at the entrance.

Only go to Telkom if you are desperate! The worst service of any place in Cape Town. 1 month later.. Still dont have phones ordered.. And have no idea when they will get any Samsung cell phones. Stay away.. The staff have no clue.

If i could give zero stars i would. This store is so covid rules this and that. There were 2 males standing together at 2 different consultants while i waited outside to enter. When it was my turn to be served i called my brother to accompany me as we were handling our matters together, the female consultant refused to let both of us be at her counter and implicitly stated only one per consultant. I was so furious as this lady had no empathy as i just lost my father and we had to handle his business. It has been a stressful week and then we had to deal with her too. If i wasnt as upset i would have brought this up in the store but i couldnt. I would rather go to another branch to never deal with them again. MXM.

In general, I will not suggest taking out a contract with Telkom due to the lack of service and weak products. We wanted to cancel our contract in July 2020, but couldnt do so as we where forced to do it at the branch where we took it out. We avoided public spaces due to the pandemic thus trying to do it remotely. My problem with this branch is that the displayed Telephone number is not working, so trying to contact them for any advise on this matter is a dead end. This is however poor protocol to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus.

Worst consultant... She was noy in the mood to work today. Ignored me and left me standing alone without telling me where she is going as well not listening to what Im asking

Larnas service was great and she is very knowledgeable.

The service was poor and unprofessional. The long story short is my phone had a network problem. I was and still is disgusted at the service I received.The experience could have been much different. Is it too much to ask of the store to take responsibility, apologise for inconvenience to a customer and commit to resolving a phone problem.

The agent Lwandile Copiso was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Knew his product. There is a wait, but this is due to slow computers. Secure parking. Pleasant Mall.

Rude and useless staff. Cancelling my contract because of this. The people at Vodacom are much friendlier.The lady rudely told me that if i wanted a iPhone I should rather go buy it at the istore.

How TERRIBLE. Sat in the line for about 40mins to be helped. There were 3 people available to help. (fair, because covid) BUT the one employee was done helping a client. He obviously knew him, because for 36 minutes (I timed) they sat and talked about their girlfriends, what they are going to do for christmas, showing each other pictures on their phones, laughing, making jokes, gossiped about people. When the client left, the employee just stood up, put off his computer, and walked out. I looked at him as he walked out. He met his girlfriend outside of the shop and they went walking through the mall almost hanging on each other. He did this while there was a queue. This is just unacceptable. Somerset Malls Telkom shops service is just terrible. Employees does not give a... about customer service! An hour and 15mins later (with only 2 people, myself and another lady, in the queue) I walked out of the shop and I just went to get a simcard Ricad!

Im unable to contact telkom via phone its a recorded message that plays over and over tells me to hold on and no one answers and trying to cancel my contract online it shows try again later due to unexpected reasons. What can I do the que at store take up to an hour or more and then they also say you must cancel online.

Horrible experience in my life, i purchased contract phone 3months ago we agreed that i will pay R329pm the phone comes with a package of 3MGfreeme on the 26/09/20 they deleted R617 instead of R329, i havent received data,airtime, free min plus Smses today its 06/10/20, ive been calling i cant get hold of anyone and i went to the store several times i didnt ge help they told me that someone is going to call me theyll log a call until now

Have been trying to cancel accounts since May. I tried online but only got 1 account logged. In May I was told to email everything to 10210@telkom which I did. 20 days later I received a ref number. To which I responded and received another ref number. Tried to call almost every day for the last month but no one answered after holding for at least 15 min to 30 mins. Eventually I plucked up the courage to wait in that long queue at your office and GUESS WHAT YOUR OFFICE WAS CLOSED FOR THE DAY FOR FUMIGATION!!! I was told to go to Stellenbosch or come back next day. There were staff inside the store. Its 2 months later and besides 3 ref numbers I have nothing but a heap of printed paper to prove I actually did request cancelation!! Unbelievable pandemic or not!!!!23 Jul 2020. 0945 I visited the store again. Consultant outside told me I couldnt be helped inside but took my number and said someone would call me back within half an hour. Its now 1215 and am still waiting.... :((

Telkom Direct was closed on 28/12 this morning. Not sure due to COVID-19 regulations. No security to answer, just a lock and chain on the door.

Rotten experience, would rate them -10 if I could. Unfortunately they cant always be avoided so be prepared for a very terrible experience.

Slow during Covid as they only serve 3 customers at a time. Que outside is long., but still get friendly service.
