A majestic sanctuary to find Salvation
I dont hate St Mary Cathedral. I love it. One of the oldest Catholic churches. Absolutely beautiful inside and out.
Peace of mind the house of the Lord.
Lunch time Mass is always on time
Beautiful and very well maintained Cathedral. I always enjoy stopping by and visiting this church.
Most beautiful church in Cape Town. The Belgium visiting male choir added to the atmosphere. Good start to Holy Week.
Beautiful architecture, wonderful people and a huge but beautiful organ at the back. It is to die for
It is a Good place of worshipFor anyone who need some quiet tine while visiting around.
The Cathedral was closed and there is barbwire all around... the stench of urine all around the building is horrendous. As a European used to churches being open and respected it was a bit of a shock.
Cant go in. Bt its a a very beautiful building from the outside
Open to public a prayer place .Good parking
Beautiful building and the masses are uplifting. Wonderful organist as well.
A place were you can thank God for all the blessings received Amen

St Marys Cathedral was our family parish church for many years when we lived in the Cape.My father was buried from this Cathedral in 1973, with close to 1000 people attending. Including friends, family and all the priests and religious orders in the archdiocese. The late Cardinal +Owen McCann officiated and the service was conducted by the late Fr Robin Van De Spuy. Many happy memories..my sister singing in this glorious choir with Stephen Wrankmore, as the organist and choir master.Stephen could make that magnificent grand dame organ ring through the rafters!!Wonderful friends made.......
Stunning cathedral. I attended a great Sunday morning service here :-)

We were at the Mass on Palm Sunday at 10am. I was impressed by the piety and ceremony of the Mass and the priest. Tourists but many locals.
