I was recommended to Steves by another customer who gave them a glowing review. I was nervous because I was looking for a new mechanic and you never know what to expect. The service I received was professional and courteous.They didnt speak to me in riddles and didnt paint a doom and gloom picture about my car to get more money out of me.I contacted them through their Facebook account and was able to arrange a car service in 10 minutes from the first contact.I would recommend using them especially if you live or work in the Southern Suburbs.

Honest and affordable car repairs.

Unprofessional and lacking in mechanical knowledge. After requesting Steve to fix the rattling tappet noise that I pointed out, he completely misdiagnosed the fault and changed bearings instead charging me over R3000 while the rattling tappet noise remained unfixed. He then would not release the car until I had paid, despite his mistake. He also refused to give me a written warranty on the wrong job that he had done and then plastered his stickers all over my car. And he told me that Hyundai use cheap Chinese parts to replace tappets which they dont. Avoid this business at all costs! Lacking in integrity.
