Used to be very cheap and good, but since business has expanded and prices have risen, now the same as price as a vitality discounted Avis/Budget and Rent a Cheapie, but cars are quite bashed up and dont have airbags (most of them) and customer service has gone downhill. I hired a car last year for long term and the radio didnt work and the fan belt needed replaced. Since then I have been using a different company. They did eventually switch the car, but I had to drive it for a couple weeks with no discount. The only advangage of these cars is unlimited mileage but I think this reflects in the quality as their customers clearly have trashed their cars. I was a loyal customer and had recommended many people to them but now they are rude and higher price. Be aware they take deposit of R3000 and only refund after 3 months + (you sometimes have to remind them). I had a traffic fine which they (kindly?) allowed me to settle myself as I live locally but still paid a small fee to Ulf as the paperwork went to him. Happy to pay market rate for safe cars but not for pile of trash. Sad to say the industry has moved on a lot and their business model no longer works if you are looking for a fair medium-long term price and basic safety and comfort.

Fast efficient service

We had very good service and I can only recommend ULF. We had a fairly new Hyundai i10 in great condition at a very affordable price. Once a lamp broke, which Heino the mechanic repaired within 5 minutes. There was nothing wrong with it. So always gladly.

Have rented a car for 6 weeks as a PJ student in Cape Town. Overall Im very satisfied, the rental was very straightforward, the car was fine for the price and Ulf was always responsive to minor problems. For long-term rentals absolutely recommendable!
