Its been 2 months and my husband still hasnt received his deposit back. We have been in contact with them but they keep asking for documentation (which we have given them). They say the money has been paid back but cant produce proof. My husbands bank has confirmed that nothing has been paid back from them and suggested we open a case of fraud.Thrifty Car Rental is the worst company EVER to rent a car from and they are daylight robbers please do not make the mistake and use them.

Booked online. Was told it would be a R4000 deposit. They took R5000 deposit. Its been 12 days now and still have not been refunded.

After handing in the car in perfect condition we were charged R2730 for damages that was only logged 2 days later. Complaning did not help, even a mail to the customer care had no response. We recommend you dont use Thrifty, they are thiefs.⚠⚠⚠⚠
