Im using this centre for the last 8 years. Im now driving my 6th Kia product. I can only comment the totally satisfactory after service/sale that Im receiving from the Helderberg branch.Today I was so surprised to receive a call after hours from Ryno asking whether Im satisfied with the work being done on my Sportage today. This is what we understand as going the extra mile. I want to recommend the dealership to ANY KIA owner for the service rendered.

The dealership has a very welcoming/ family type of vibe happening... it is clean and adheres to protocol...all staff that I dealt with was super amazing, including the staff that made my awesome video. A big shout out to Dalmaine Lenders, the craziest/ most helpful sales executive I have ever met!! He really made my dream come true and went out of his way to make it happen... I’ve been at the dealership, after purchasing my car and I still get treated with much warmth and excellent service. Really a nice place to do car shopping at... they not in a rush to get you out the doors, even after hours... go get your happy miles at Kia Somerset West, you won’t be disappointed.

Try calling the spares department! It is a disaster! I have been holding on for 15 minutes and no answer. Tried to call back and the phone at reception just rings off the hook. When you call again the phone just get dropped. Service at this outlet sucks. Ill try some other town.

I purchased a Rio cash at the end of February this year from Pri. Numerous issues and management dont care or get back to you. I had to do the on the road which I was charged for. No registration papers, spare key or service book. Today I discovered I have purchased yet another Kia vehicle that missed a service. The previous Purchase was the same story that gave endless issues because Kia South Africa missed a service and sold me a car without divulging this info.Im off to the consumer protection council.

For the 2nd time now, I take my car there with one issue and it comes back with 2 issues. It takes all day to troubleshoot something which at the end cannot be explained. It always is predictable how ones car will always have issues which are not covered by insurance or guarantee/warantee forcing the owner to pay out of pocket. THIEVES!!!! I wish I could give negative stars. Avoid them at all cost.

Worst Experience ever, they never have the required parts, wait two to three weeks for it to get here only to have it be the wrong parks, they break an damage items within the car and to top it all off you wait an entire day only to have to return again. They dont offer coffee, they dont have water dispensers an they never have parts on hand. The staff is friendly and always willing to listen but the overall customer experience can be improved. If I could give a negative Star I would give this place a -5 star review chip repair company did not do a great was not done satisfactory and could feel the glass repair.

Be careful when you buy a kiaI contemplated this review for a while and because I dont like leaving bad reviews I gritted my teeth and accepted it but recently a new incident arose and I feel I cant just leave this, so Im going to list the problems I have had since getting my car.1: when I first bought the car I got bought the Central locking upgrade for it just to find out the boot is not included. (nobody told me this.)2: My car now unlocks itself while Im not using it, occasionally the doors refuse to lock and when I took it in for a service they told me to get the electrics fixed elsewhere.3: What you buy is what youre stuck with:I decided to get upgrades one day, a lady at the counter ( whom was very helpful) told me I need to email head office to enquire about the upgrades.Head office replied to me explaining that all upgrades can only be bought when the car is bought. No electric windows or sky light for me... :(4: I took my car for a service a couple months ago and noticed my car sounded a bit louder, now I know the kia picanto is a loud car so I accepted it.Last week it became deafeningly loud especially when I accelerate so I popped the hood to find that my air filter box was installed wrong and one of the clips were missing.Now I dont know what long term effects this is going to have on my car and Im probably not going to be told but I thought this was rather scary since Ive been driving 100km to tokai and back every day for the last month.

We are so disappointed with your follow up customer service!!!We bought a KIA preowned K2700 from Kia Somerset west in March and and we are still struggling with getting problems sorted out....Priyeshan was our sales agent. He was very helpful and friendly to get the sale, we even received a bunch of flowers. He promised us the bakkie was in excellent condition. He also promised that he would order a spare remote key and the missing driver side mirror.In the week after just before lockdown started we experienced some trouble with the gearbox on the bakkie, and I notified Priyeshan about the problem, but because everyone was forced to close we had to keep the bakkie with us (which we could not use due to the gearbox) until the lockdown eased and the dealerships was able to open up again (about 3 weeks later) We took the bakkie back for them to sort out the problem, which took another 3-4weeks just for them to assess and wait for authorization.AFTER many phone calls from our side talking to every manager possible, they loned us a vehicle from their sales stock, and they finally started the repair of the gearbox.Another 3-4 weeks went by with us phoning and following up. As well as on the spare key and missing side mirror. Once they finally finished the repair, we could use the vehicle again, but we still have the issue of the number plates to sort out.Because of the lockdown the roadworthy of the vehicle expired, which meant we had to take it for roadworthy again, this we did about 3 weeks ago. We have been phoning and following up with them, they keep promising to phone back, but there is no reason for them to take this long.As of today we have still not received one phone call back from them, no number plates, no spare key and no side mirror....I am left no choice but to complain publicly about this, maybe then we will get some service from them....Kind RegardsJohan Smit

“I just want to say what a nightmare and embarrassing day I had experienced today at KIA Stikland regarding some repair work that I thought had to be done, turned out I needed my Renault Sandro serviced and brakes and other extras to be replaced on the car as well.Patiently waiting too be picked up by my wife who had to leave her work to collect me. And before her arrival I get told by the service agent that my service/maintenance plan had been terminated. I was so confused as I purchased this car in January 2020 and took out an extended 2 year service/maintenance plan for such matters.I immediately called Liquid Capital and spoke to the agent who confirmed my policy was terminated even though I had been paying for it this whole time. I made them aware the car was serviced before it was sold to me and told that next service would be at 90000km??? I sent through my documentation as proof to them and they said it was not valid because of the mistake the finance lady inserted onto my document. Instead of adding the exact mileage of 72000km she added 0km..OMG!!I contacted the car salesman that arranged the sale of my vehicle and he said he would speak to this lady (ALETTA BEESELAAR) who had arranged all the paperwork for my policy and car that I had signed in January 2020. What a mission it was to get this sorted.I was so stressed out dealing with this dispute the whole day and then get told by KIA Stikland the service and maintenance would amount to almost R16000 and will be on my expense. Fortunately, I was able to agree with it as I wanted everything that needs to be fixed on my car to be done. What a disgrace and frustrating situation to be in. What if I could not afford to pay it? And then would need to be inconvenience to arrange to take it in again. Absolutely not.There was no urgency with my matter by this lady who I feel was at fault, as it was the car salesman running around to sort it out. Only after I sent a voice note via WhatsApp then this Aletta lady called blaming it on a system glitch and had a condescending tone, which I never liked and rather kept my cool about it and all I was told the request was out of her hands as it is sitting with Liquid Capital. I just wanted what I paid for this past year to be covered. This lady should be and also take ownership and accountability, however was adamant it was not her even though she is the person handling the paperwork and everything.All of sudden I am getting emailed by her to give me updates. Now that is customer service that any customer would expect. She can learn a thing or two from Pri the salesman I dealt with throughout the day.After all the back and forth, I eventually got an email saying the contract was amended and the service is approved and should not pay for anything, but on collection of car I had to pay over 6k for the maintenance of the car as they did not approve it. So I am awaiting to see what they going to do as I intend to get refunded in full for this ordeal that they put me through. My whole off day wasted and stressed out. If only this lady could be in my position today to understand what she and her system glitch put me through. And to top it off no apologies or nothing. Absolutely a disgrace, even though they partial sorted out the mess.Maybe I was naive in the moment due to the excitement of getting my car last year, but for those customers who consider purchasing at KIA Somerset West be careful what is inserted or not or system glitches that occur on your service/maintenance plans paperwork, as a customer you expect good faith that the dealership has everything in place for you when departing from their premises.BEEN A WEEK AND WAITING ON REFUND PROMISED LAST WK THAT WOULD BE PROCESSED?KIA IGNORING EMAILS NOW. Good day Im just a concerned client with the service I got from Kate it was unprofessional she wasnt kind,with some attitude.l would rate her one star. I explained but she resisted to understand, I come there almost every 3 months I have never had any trouble like I got from her .She should upgrade her manner in handling clients, but many thanks to Shillton ,Nathan and Gina, their service standard is 100% giving them 5 star for their services.Much appreciated,With these 3 I feel at home and they always make my dayI wouldnt mess the stars of a good team just because of only one person . I bought a vehicle in October 2019. I am waiting for after sales service for a faulty door and actual service of the vehicle. Thats how the car was sold to me. Trusting they would order the part, i was assured that it will be done and i will get a substitute car for my businesses for deliveries. in addition, the R4500.00 I paid for on the road fee to register the business with the licensing department is still not done after about three weeks after getting the paper work in. I will be subject to fines from traffic officers now too. The principal dealer did call me two weeks ago and said he would follow this up. I have not call back from the salesman or dealer as of today 4th December. After sales service is non existent. I will be asking for a refund or cancel the deal in its entirety..just communicate to the client..regards Wayne

My Sportage developed a strange noise while driving down to the coast and I took it in on the morning of the 10th expecting the standard  You have to book the car in etc. HUGE was my surprise when I was told Give us a few minutes and we will take a look and even bigger when a few minutes later somebody listened to the noise and pulled the car into the workshop.It took an hour or two for them to isolate the small but very obscure problem and fix it but is was done in the end, always keeping me up to date

If you planning on buying a car from them or just servicing your car, you could be in for quite a bit of a stressful experience.For every time Ive walk in I was made to stand around for 10 minutes before someone tended to me. Ive even at one stage asked one of the consultant to see another and the reply was, that the consultant is around I just have to wait. The vehicles that I have serviced there is never done 100% as it always has to go back for either the same issue or some fault that is right where the serviced problem is. Ive even been told by the service centre manager that they only service the vehicle on what you request to have serviced. If you ask for a service make sure you specify, check all lubricants engine and gearbox as well as cables.Good luck

I made an appointment for my Kia Picanto for a service 2 July 2019. More than a week before the due date I checked my service plan is still in order. I told the person I think it will be the last service on the plan. She confirmed the car service plan is still in order. After leaving the car, Leon Botha also asked me is the service plan still in order, I told him I checked and all in order according to your staff. What a surprise to receive a phone call to say the car is out of the plan already. I proceeded with the service and was shocked about the service amount I had to pay. I would have thought a discount would have been given, or maybe a wheel alignment done.

Horrific experience. It has taken 5 months for me to receive my number plate. Team members make appointments that require taking time off work, only to just not show up. This has happened repeatedly. I received my car today and it reeked of cigarette smoke and had food trash in it. Simply unacceptable.

My sister bought a car from this reputable company Kia Somerset West.Upon delivery (02 June 2018), I noticed a tyre noise within the vehicle which the salesperson (Lance) confirmed was normal and told me that Dekra did the necessary checks which stated the car was roadworthy. On inspection of the vehicle, the front tyres were worn. Ive visited the dealership twice to query the problem. The used vehicle manager insist that he has complete trust in dekra as he didnt check the car out himself.On delivery the vehicles mileage was approximately 29400kms, it wasnt indicated that we had to pay for the service as we had an inspression that the service plan we bought covered. We received bad communication from the sale person and the finance aid. On 22 June 2018 the vehicle went in for a service, I asked the service advisor to do the alignment on the car which would cost R450.00, which we agreed to do. The service advisor phoned us back and said that the alignment couldnt be done as the tyres were worn. We asked if the manager could assist us but he said we have to pay for the tyres because according to him the roadworthy cleared the car.I understand that there are certain internal policies and procedures, however logically a new previously owned cars tyres could not have possibly worn within less than a month.Please contact me urgently regarding this matter.
