The worst dealership I will never step my foot into again nor recommend anyone to visit. Bought a 2020 Corolla Quest, what a joke from both sales person and so-called finance lady. The charged me ridiculous amounts and when I ask them what is this for none could explain to me. I was charged 4500 for a smash and grab tint which came with bubbles , a camera was installed for 4500 and that thing doesnt even do any good. How on earth can such thing happen in this day and age.... The worst dealership ever I have come across so far in my time on this earth

I took my Ford Ranger 2.2 for a standard 43000 km service. The Ford entrance and service department is a bit of a challenge to find. I arranged with the service consultant to wait for the vehicle. They were friendly and gave me feedback on the progress. To my surprise the service was completed at 08:15 . The vehicle was parked ready to drive straight out of the service department. I had a choice to wait a little longer for a full wash but declined the offer. All in all, I had a good experience during the service ar Ford Tygervalley. My thanks to the technician who serviced my vehicle.RegardsDerick

I will never ever...ever own a ford in my life...never ever...poor service is a major understatement..no call backs..receptionist do not answer and when she does you go 9n hold again. Car booked in for two weeks just for me to recieve it back with another sound on it ...like a pump bearing packing up. Two weeks..luckily its a company vehicle and not my own or it would have been down the side of a mountain..without me in ...would not wish them on my worst enemy..

Why I am not surprised to see all these bad reviews for Ford Tygervalley. I recently had my car serviced for the first time by them and will not return in the future. If you are a first time customer, then you will find the directions to the Service entrance very difficult. I quickly ask one of the guys from their workshop as he parked his car, where to go and he directed me kindly. As I pulled away a lady then also stopped to ask, because clearly there is no signage pointing you in the right direct where to go. Then there is the service, which was all good. However, I dont agree that they actually checked and tested the wiper blades correctly. Even though I was told they did and that it always forms part of the service to be checked. Now my issue is this. The wiper blades clearly needed to be replaced, because of the unbearable noise it made even while driving in heavy rain and the wipers turned on at high speed. I then personally went back to Ford Tygervalley to buy new wiper blades and fitted them on myself in the rain right outside their dealership. The wipers work perfectly now. Places like AutoZone, Midas and even MasterParts do not sell the wiper blades for a Ford Fiesta 2015 model. Yes I had to find this out the hard way and driving around like crazy in the rain. That I needed to go directly to a Ford dealership which costs R306.65 for these low end wiper blades.

Poor service at a high price. They seem to cram too many vehicles into one day and the only objective is to get them out as quickly as possible. Technicians cant seem to find and diagnose rather obvious issues and they obviously dont even bother to test drive the car to see if their fixes even work. And then they try and charge you R800 for some low end wipers. What a joke.

Worst attitude to work Ive seen at any Ford dealership.Substandard service and etiquette compared to Ford Diep River, failed to provide something as simple as a quote for wipers over the phone and when I went through to the dealership it felt as though they were doing me a favour by letting me buy the wipers?? Unfortunately, the attitude of your employees shapes your business.

I would rate 0 stars if I could. The after sales service is absolutely pathetic! Took 1 month to get a gear box to get told “the factory didn’t send the transmission oil” by the service adviser with was a blatant lie! Eventually after 1 and a half months the car was done. Only for the check engine light to come on hours later. Another month later we are told that the part arrived but was sent back “because a job card wasn’t created”. The staff are a joke and don’t return your calls to! I tell you I wouldn’t touch this place with a 10 foot pole. DONT BUY FORD and STAY AWAY!

I would like to compliment Nathan from Barlow world Tygervalley. This young man is so clued up, friendly and helpful and each time I have spoken to him I could hear the smile in his voice. I have owned Fords for the last 14 years and I am yet to find a Service Consultant who is so helpful.The latest encounter with him was when I called to verify certain details of my 2017 Ford Fiesta which I bought second hand from another dealership (not Ford - not a happy experience). After giving him the information he required he informed me of a few things I was not aware of as well as assisted me to get done what I needed.Thank you Nathan.

Was an OK experience. Better than previous time. I also have to hope and prey when ordering parts at this branch. Its a miracle I didnt have issues. (though I did have to call back myself as I wasnt being followed up with)Added a pic of the new mustang spec change. Freaking sweet vehicle.

When I took my car in for service they finished my service early in the afternoon but failed to notify me that my car was ready for collection until 10 minutes before closing. My friend that gave me a lift had to speed for me to get my car back in time. My car then broke down only weeks after being serviced. It went in for repairs and now I have to wait for days before I can get a diagnosis. I need a car for work and they couldnt even provide a courtesy vehicle. Absolutely weak. I am very disappointed.

Instead of reviewing this place, Ill share my experience in the hope that someone at Ford cares enough to fix the issues at this branch. I bought a second car from them 6 months back with an extended warranty on the vehicle. I had an issue with the car that needed to be checked, so I called to check where to send the car (either to them or a Fiat dealership, as the car is a Fiat) The first time I called was a Friday. The reception let me know that everyone in the service department had left (just past midday) I did manage to find out from reception that the car needed to be brought to them first. Monday came and I called again. This time reception claimed that everyone was in a meeting and no one could help me, but theyd call me back. I asked again during this phone call if theyre sure my car needs to be brought to them first, which they assured me of again. As you can guess, no one called back. Tuesday came, I called back. This time they said theyre going to go get someone that can help me, and would call me back in 5 minutes. This didnt happen. Wednesday came and I requested to wait on the phone until someone helped me that knew what they were talking about. After 4 days, after 3 times of asking where my car needs to be taken, I am told that I dont need to bring it to them at all, but instead directly to the manufacturer. 4 days of practically begging for someone to help me, with something as simple as asking where to take my car, I can only imagine how difficult it is for anyone to get their car booked in here. I really dont understand how such a large car company can blatantly ignore such an incompetent branch. You might be able to buy a car here, in fact that part was quite pleasant, but after that, youre very much on your own.

Went to look at the new Ford Ranger. This is a very neat dealership with a nice range of products and well presented. Spoke to Herman Kemp on the new car sales team and was well impressed by his knowledge and the way he dealt with me. Certainly made me feel comfortable as a customer. Yet to use them to service my existing Ranger as I have previously used a dealership closer to home but they are also very conveniently located near my work so I think I will test their service team at my next service as well. Excellent product too in my opinion.

Not even worth 1 star unfortunately, service was very poor from the new and used sales team, I was not even offered to test drive the vehicle I was interested in. Your team really need to sharpen their pencils and get with the program in terms of customer service. I would recommend secret shoppers in order to get the customer service up to a reputable standard.

I called Ford Tygervalley looking for a 2018 Fiesta book value as I had seen the vehicle elsewhere for sale and I wanted to know if I was being ripped off. I spoke to Angelo De Wee who convinced me to come see him and rather purchase from a Ford dealer.I am very happy that I did, I have received EXCELLENT service from Angelo and I am a very FUSSY customer. ( I am the customer no one wants to deal with)Angelo went out of his way to make sure that I was happy when I purchased the car and he did a follow up call to ensure that everything was in order.Thank you Angelo it is nice to see that people still take pride in what they do and still offer FANTASTIC customer service.

I had a breakdown and had my car towed to ford tygervalley with not much forewarning to the staff there. I was told they are very busy and i will be put on a waiting list, as is completely understandable. I was then called the very next day by a lady named Sisonke (my apologies for bad spelling) where she informed me that one of their mechanics have already had a look at my car and can start working on it after the days normal booked clients. My car was finished within 2 days and i was informed every step of the way as to what was happening and when. Very appreciative that they squeezed me in to their tight schedule and helped me out. Will definitely return.

I have called about 8-9 times today just to change my appointment from Electrical to Service and still no answer or still not able to get through to someone they just put you on hold...

Started talking about my my next service in June and was advised that they needed to order special parts that was going to take some time so the earliest slot available was today, 3 August. Confirmed my booking very early in July and they waited untill I arrived this morning to tell me they do not have the needed parts, they dont know when theyll get the parts and pointed me away. When theyre asking R9k for a simple service on a Figo youd at least expect them to communicate to you when the parts on your quote is not in stock prior to arriving at the branch...

So I want to get a quote to get a vent motor replaced on a 3.2 DC XLT.Go to reception -> reception puts me to services.Service says I need to go to parts -> rings, no one answers.Reception picks up, I explain again - they put me through to parts again.Reception picks up again, no answer at parts and they try again.Parts answers, they give me a price on the ventilation motor but cant give me a quote for labor.They put me through to workshop.No answer....Reception picks up again.I explain the whole story to reception again and they put me through to workshop (again).Workshop answers...I need to get the part number from parts.They put me through.. Just as someone answers they hang up...Im not allowed to physically go in without an appointment so I have no idea how its possible for them to remain in business if this is the communication setup.Will stay away from this place or any Barloworld as far as possible

Last year 30/09/2019 i took my wifes 2016 ford fiesta for its 3rd service which was on 49000..i took the car in for a service and when the car was done they said my next service is on 80000km which it they put a sticker on the door to state that....i callled them today and ask what is happening coz a friend of mine advise me the car must be serviced 1ce a year...my wifes car is at 62000 on the clock so i called tygervalley ford and then they come with alot of stuff to say that cars service is out of warranty and it ended on 60000....BUT ON THE STICKER ITS SHOWS NEXT SERVICE 80000KM...NOW they tell me its not their fault and i must know these things and they not liable but on the Sticker its states 80000 and not 60000..i told the manager KHAYA MASTMUKA that it is not out fault as they told us next service is 80000 and did not explain the 1ce a year service part...now the car is 2000k out of service and they want me to pay in full....the manager and Ford Tygervalley service is pathetic...i was on the call with them for 40min on my airtime and all the manager just said was i need to book in the car and pay and didnt even sound sincere....BAD SERVICE TYGERVALLEY FORD WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

The worst dealership i have ever dealt with, appalled to say the least. Upon entering with our kid we were informed that no under 18s allowed, then decided hubby will go check. While waiting for him to be screened, so i could tell him what to check for and to possibly make a video call, we get approached by an arrogant salesman who says did you see the sign to which i still wanted to reply and he shouts leave!. No customer service, no empathy. Complete arrogance and clearly no desire for sales. We decided to leave and we will not return and yes we will purchase a vehicle but absolutely not from your dealership.

I would rather drive 600km to George to get my car serviced. Made use of their online booking service never heard of them. Phoned eventually was put through to the services department where no one answered. Eventually got a call back, got a date for a booking and specifically asked if the date still fell under my service plan, in which the lady responded yes. Eventually when I went for my service I was informed that I would have to pay for my cars service since my service plan lapsed. Worst possible service! Cost me thousands of rands because the person that helped me miss informed me.

Dont know why i even write a review with this bad rating i should have know i would get bad servicei phoned to make a booking for a service and problems on my vehicle that still under warranty, told me the only booking available is on the 28 sept 2020 so the booking was made and in the same breath the lady told me if i go over the km then ford will charge me 5000 odd rand to sent samples away for testing and bla bla ,i phoned other dealships also and got a earlier booking at N1 city after i told her that im close to my km and it was covid and she understanding she helped me, the original booking at them was 23 sept 2020 but she put me in for the 10 sept 2020 so i told her what about the booking at your dealership she said keep it there for the other problems i have on the vehicle thats, so i did itAssumed that all the dealership are ford and work from the same databaseThe morning i booded the vehicle in ,1st in line standing sins 6am there and they open 7am, so when i made contact with nathan service person told him the story and what the problems are on the vehicle he called the service manager and explained it to her and they said no problem they wil look at it but if is going to take time they wil charge me R1250 per hour so had to agree and i left on my way to workAt 10 am got a call for nathan tell me the vehicle was booked in for a service not the repairs he dont know when they will have time to look at my car it can be 2-3 days (only for the right electric window that dont work and the weird starting and powersteering that take long to kick in after i start the vehicle and a small hole in the exhaust )dont know if this is trueThis is after its been in your workshop since 7am and for 3 hours they did nothing and have the nerve to phone me and tell me he dont know when it wil be done or i can come now and fetch my vehicle and make a booking for the repairs so i gave him a piece of my mindThen i got a call from him nathan again around 14h30/14h45 tell me the weird start is because its a 3 cylinder ,the powersteering is because its a electric pump ,and the hole is there for a purpose to let the water out and the part for the windows they have to order the relay and button he dont know how long its going to take 2 day ,2months but i can come and fetch my vehicle and he will let me know when it have arrived ,Ask him cant he phoned the other dealerships to found out if they have the parts ,NO, he see there one at N1 city but i must phoned them because the system is not always updated and im thinking reallyWent to fetch my vehicle and i made one phone call to ford cbd and the sevice guy told me let him phone around and get the part he will let me know ,20 min later he told me saltriver have the part they picking it up the next day and the following day the booking was made and today in summer i have a window thats working and can enjoy my vehicle i paying forSo all your dealership and guys worry about is money and no after sales or your clients ,your attitude stinks to say the least but dont worry your dealership will not see me again even if its close to my house but I will rather go the extra mile and know i get the best for me and my vehicle thanks Andre

This should have been 1 star had it not been for one employee that referred me to Ford Paarden Eiland. Don’t waste your time with the Northern Suburbs Barloworld Ford dealers. I just want to say THANK YOU to Sisonke & Harriet in the Service department. In previous years we had a bit of trouble with services and bookings but these two ladies are handling everything amazingly during this time we find ourselves in. They kept me up to date with our 4 vehicles in for services and their COVID protocols are kept to the T! Thanks for making life easier! Can definitely recommend this branch.

My 2015 Ranger with 85 000 km on went suddenly would not start, took it to Ford Tygervalley, they quoted me R13 000 to replace the battery and glow plugs. Which did not make sense. I took my Ranger for a second opinion, turns out it was a faulty diesel pump, cost me R1500. Battery and glow plugs was tested, all 100% fine. DO NOT TRUST THE FORD TYGERVALLEY WORKSHOP!!!

Took my Ford Fusion for a 75000km service. Very easy booking in procedure and they finished by midday. All the work done perfectly and the car was even washed and vacuumed. (They use grey water!) And then got a follow up call the next day to make sure everything was OK. Very impressed and will certainly take my car there again.

Weak weak service. They replaced my oil but its still black took photos of my filler cap - see attached - does it look like a mechanic touched it to refill the engine. I get a phone call to replace none existing chips on my windscreen but not to be informed about my brake fluid that is low, see attached. Ran a diagnostic for engine light that is burning but no print out of it, I paid R895 for it but there is no proof it being done codes werent even cleared. Now I need to return the next morning so they can redo the diagnostic just for a print out.

Im purely basing my review on the parts department. I was looking for the fog light cover on a 2019 ford fiesta and I showed the salesman on a demo car exactly what it is. He gave me a sample for the left side and told me its the same on both sides. I told him the car we had that had this cover broken, very clearly had a light bulb behind it, yet the part he was showing me was just a solid reflector. He assured me that I was wrong, and working with cars all day I said maybe I am and I payed my 300 rand or so. Then after driving all the way back and seeing it is now the wrong part, and that I was indeed correct, it was not just the reflector as he assured me it was, it was indeed a light cover, I had to drive there again, and they had to order me the part. They called me back a couple of days later to come fetch the part, so I went there and to my surprise the 300 rand had now turned to something like R550, and Ive already quoted my customer a set amount. So now I must make a look because your salesman are clearly inexperienced?

I am so fed up with ford poor service, last time I buy car from them. Morning took my car for service asked to be dropped at my house so I can take motorcycle to work. When I called them to collect me they just said sorry we dont pick up.... How am I suppose to get my car? They didnt even mention it when I dropped my car. After speaking to lady they couldnt even call back to ask how they can assist! Never again cant wait to get rid of this car now.The service manager called me, the most rude person i have ever spoken to. Immediately started attacking me on saying they did not transport people in my car. When i tried to explain to him about how bad the service was he kept interrupting me. Apparently he was at the scene when they delivered the vehicle, he never got out of the second car to introduce himself and apologize for any inconvenience caused. This is ridiculous, i never want to deal with FORD again, i have been Ford client for more than 10 years.

Firstly they dont call you back after promising they would(I had to call them 4 times to make a service appointment). Service was done but other issues now have to be paid by me. The vehicle is only six months old! Stay away from this dealer, I will not intrust them with my vehicle again. There is other dealers with better service in my opinion!!

After a big argument got call at 15:00 on Friday, car will be ready at 16:00. Arrive at 15:50 only to be told 20 minutes later they have got the wrong part again.Nobody accepts responsibility, Service Dept blames Parts Dept, Parts Dept blames Factory. At the end you can only take your car (10 days after first contact) and hope one day correct part will arrive.On top of it I tried to phone Service Dept twice today, both times got transferred and phone just rings till it drops the call and no manager available when you want to talk to them. Eventually I drove there to be able to talk to someone.

Special order window wrongly ordered by Parts department. No feedback unless calling in, none of my calls returned. Lack of ownership of mistake. Problem was however resolved by someone in the messup of things. So thank you to that individual (Dont have his name though). Needless to say overall service is wanting.

I attempted to buy a car here, I paid the deposit and on the day of collection was told that I was misquoted and needed to pay more money for the car. long story short, they refused to admit guilt and I swore to never support them and advise everybody I know not to purchase a car from them either. These people are not honest and I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

Dealing with Ford Tyger Valley has been an absolute nightmare, with little to no concern from the staff. Over and above numerous previous struggles, the current situation is as follows: my 2017 Ford Ranger radio has frozen for the 2nd time in 4 months. After the 1st time I had to book the bakkie in to the service dept. which was a waiting period of >3 weeks, only for them to take a pliers in front of me upon collection, open up the USB/aux point and disconnect something - I was then instructed that this was a defect in the model, each time this happens I should just bring the bakkie in and theyll reset it until Ford have resolved the issue. I now have the same issue, where I have been told that I must wait another 3 weeks for the bakkie to be booked in. When demanding a product that works properly and does not give me this kind of hassle (I make use of the vehicles Bluetooth for business operations on a daily basis), I have been told that there is nothing more that they can do other than book the vehicle in and run further diagnostics. I have now been waiting for the service dept. managers call for >48hrs. I have paid for a vehicle, I want this vehicle functioning properly. I have never been more frustrated with a service dept. than Ford Tyger Valley!

As seen below I sent an email as requested by Barloworld Ford and it is no surprise that after a month I still have not been contacted by Barloworld Ford. This is just further testimony of the level of oh sorry the lack of service. Worst experience ever!! Seems all the staff with manners have left this dealership. Person taking the payment did not even look up once. She should be retrained. I will rather take my car somewhere else than to be treated like a worm. FORD.. Wake up!!!!!

Very disorganized from the first moment. Nobody to clearly direct the check in process when you arrive. Was told there is a shuttle available at 7h30. When the shuttle arrives at 7h40 it turns out to be a Ford Fiesta and they try to squeeze three large people into the back! You can image that these people were upset! And then, because they do not have enough space in the Fiesta we must decide who is going to wait for the next shuttle one hour later. When I complained I was told they have no more cars available. Then when I ask to speak to the manager, suddenly there is a car available immediately. Absurd! Hope the actual service on the car goes well at least.
