I have stayed at many caravan parks but I have never experience facilities like these. From the full bar to the never ending supply of chops this place is the best. During my recent stay, Roger even lent me his own personal tent after a few of his other guests realized that a quick stop had become an all nighter. One of the best things is the combination of wild camping and creature comforts. Roger, thank you for opening your home and your heart to so many intrepid travelers!

I’m a relatively inexperienced camper so was delighted that the proprietor (Roger) ended up pitching our tent each night. Amazingly (and in my view, rather unnecessarily) he took it down daily and re-pitched it (usually after a few Sugarbird gins). We spent so much time at the campsite that we regret not actually experiencing Cape Town at all.I’d be pretty confident that you’ll never get an experience like this anywhere else in the Southern Hemisphere.

A great place to unwind and have a few G&T’s and some cheap red wine. Can get quite raucous after 10pm, so best to escape the communal braai early, especially if you’re visiting on a school night. Friendly dogs with comfortable beds if you can’t make it back to your caravan. Excellent braai chops that are sourced locally. Hosts wife is extremely patient and accommodating. All in all, a magic little spot, but if visiting unsupervised - you’ve been warned!!

Street parking only and good security with big dogs and sliding gate. Great venue for kids with free babysitting and plenty of unsupervised safe activities such as climbing on the roof of the premises. Proprietor can be a grumpy b*****d especially if anyone tries to braai their own food but the gin dispenser is top notch and the gees is lekker. The main problem can be experienced when trying to depart before 10pm as this is not allowed by management. Apparently the staff are football fans as they keep referring to some type of scoreboard, but it seems a goal can only be scored before 9pm and red cards are a common occurrence. Vegetarians not welcome!

Can thoroughly recommend the communal braai area even though the locals try to monopolise it. Dont try to come here for a peaceful night away - lamb chops at 2am is a regular event. Service generally pretty good especially the auto-braai facility. Just be careful of these 2 after about 10pm.

Welcoming home from home experience. Parking facilities cramped and shore power points limited. Swimming pool and communal braai area available. Sometimes noisy after typical campng lights out times. Management can be aggressive if provoked but easily managed with some sugarbird. overall a good experience i can recommend to others.

After a long day in the car we finally made it to this caravan park. Arrived to a raucous, bordering on leary, braai session at the communal binnebraai area. Owner’s wife was very accommodating and the owner was three sheets to the wind shoving tjops down everyone’s throats. Reasonably decent caravan pitches although a bit tight. Bicycles everywhere! Not sure if they get ridden... good value if you’re happy with a bit of ‘atmosphere’.
