Got order wrong. No extra effort. Quite expensive

Absolutely fantastic experience, I’m a foreigner that needed specialty items ASAP and that’s exactly what Neel did for me. He got me all the parts day of, and went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. I highly recommend these guys for your off road accessories.

New premises look great, both inside and outside. Ample parking in front of the shop too. Well stocked and professional retail displays inside on split level floor.

Neil, the manager, and all the staff are very friendly and will help even if it is on a Friday late afternoon and desperate for certain rare stock. But nothing is a problem for them. Great service and highly recommendable.

Very limited stock, and only a few brands being shown. Not very many options and didnt feel like it competes at all with shops like Safari Center. I dont think Id go back, but who knows maybe once its more established.

Wide selection of gear and products for the more serious 4x4 enthusiast. Good selection of well known brand names and demo setups of camper canopy lay outs and host of tents and good quality camping equipment. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Easy access and no parking issues.

This branch has moved home . What a difference .!Large open premises -plenty space . No less than 5 different tents open and on display . A massive workshop for all those auto, camping and outdoor fitment issues. A great range of braai accessories also to be found .The staff are knowledgeable, energetic and eager to assist.Definately the place to visit for all outdoor,braai and fitment requirements.

Got the help I was looking for

I remember this store from years back when I outfitted my earlier 4x4s, it has changed in that they do not stock such a wide variety of kit as earlier years and the brands are limited to just a few.The facility is well laid out with the feeling of space and the shelves are neatly packed with gear and gadgets.Staff are friendly, but not overly enthusiastic about attending to you upon arrival, at least not on the Saturday morning I visited, there is a fitment center too which is advantages when purchasing gear needed to be fitted.It seems 4x4 Mega World Caters for a certain segmented client, pricing of gear is a bit on the high side, with not much appeal for the average occasional camper or 4x4er, at least that was the feel I got when visiting.So when you need 4x4 equipment and gear try 4x4 Mega World they may just have what you are looking for.

A good experience in having a roof rack fitted. Price is good and expertly fitted. However, I found that their accessories are pricey. One can buy the same or similar accessories elsewhere for a lot less.

We popped in to have a look at the Oz Tent RV 5. The assistant, Brian was very friendly and helpful.He furnished me with all the info i needed.

Prices are competitive. Good range of products with knowledgeable sales people. They sorted out an electrical problem with my camping fridge. Recommended.

Shocking after sales service and management! Spent a fortune on a tent which broke in the wind, salesperson and “management” accused the buyer of not setting it up correctly, (somebody who’s camped for 30plus years) such an insult to a paying customer, DO NOT SPEND A CENT AT THIS PLACE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Well stocked 4x4, camping and outdoor store. Open Saturdays and are agents for Old Man Emu as well as Engel fridge products.Prices are moderate to expensive, but customer service and storage variety is very good.

Great service and product knowledge from Thembi and Brian!I had a bull bar, bash plate and OME suspension fitted on my Hilux and am happy with the improvement.

Got everything I needed well priced wish i could buy more

I am from oudtshoorn and to compare this shop to the shops in my aria is not even possible becuse of the prices here a winch roller costs +-R900 at the neighboring towns vs here at a +-R 1 100Big space but not alot of stock (and whatever stock there is is WAY over priced)We walked in and greeted the staff at the main desk they did not even acknowledge our greetingsWuld not visit here again

Havent been since they moved in but nice and big inside shop looks empty but that could be from Xmas shopping

The range of products are limited. It is big store sparsely equipped. Equipment is on the expensive side and the assistance not very informative. Prices are well displayed. Parking available right in front of the shop.

As an otherwise rational and switched on 47 year old English bloke this shop has a disturbing effect on me. I find myself hopping around like a child in Hamleys, buzzing like a beer filled Engel fridge, whilst both showing off to my teenage sons and also boring my wife as to why each item on display is quite so exciting and how it might improve our Pan-African adventures. Its a dreamy Willy Wonker sweet-shop for outdoor enthusiasts and whilst it can result in serious credit card depletion, so can all good shops; and unlike most posh purchases these are ones that seem to be fashion proof, Africa proof and most importantly likely to improve the quality of the expeditions that my family and I will have here over the next few years. At least its not a silly Louis Vuitton suitcase I tell my wife as i arrange for the sand track mountings to be fitted beside the axe bracket !

Great if you are just interested to decorate your vehicle with pretty winches and jacks.If you actually need to use said equipment though .. you are in for nasty and very likely lethal surprises.We were lucky. Insanely lucky. Three times. No hospitalisable injuries were sustained.If you return with said goods and would like a refund .. well, good luck with that reasonable expectation.Tmax 3000kg rated jack folds at around 1500kg.Tmax winch had steel cable wound but not attached correctly to drum flange.Tmax dyneema rope cut halfway through by the crimp it comes with.Really deadly ...The special on Engel fridges though .. worth a look.
