Ordered 3 take away coffees this morning in a rush because I was expecting company. The employee who took my order was half asleep and had such a drab attitude. The guy who made the coffee made the wrong order and mixed up all the coffees he was half asleep and drab as well. Terrible communication between employees. They took forever to make the coffees and I had to ask for a tray to carry all the coffees which they had to search for. There were no stirrers on display for me to use and were searching high and low to find them taking more of my time and I eventually asked them to leave it as I had no time to waste. No chocolates with the coffee I had to ask. Overall bleak coffee experience.

I love me some Vida but the service at this one could be better! I had to clean my own table before sitting down and the place was empty!

Was trying this place for the first time, I was in need of hot coffee, I ordered with soya milk they give me full cream I vomited everything I feel sick even now... I trusted those guys but Ill never visit that place again

Possibly the best Vida Ive been to so far (and Ive been to a lot😅)!! They have the friendliest staff who makes drinks with the strongest flavours you can get. My taste buds explodes each time I visit them and I cant smile brighter. I definitely recommend, so go and pay them a visit. You wont regret it!

Trying Vida e Rondebosh for the 1st time ever ....great coffee but very disappointed in the ring doughnuts after getting to the office finding out it was Yesterday stock .actually told by the staff that it was fresh.

Its a Vida e Caffè... If you want a coffee and a snack head this way! If you want good coffee and a snack dont head this way!Its a good location for a student to just camp down for a couple hours and do some work while having a cup of coffee or breakfast/lunch but dont expect something awesome.

A pretty typical Vida e caffè as far as the menu goes, but what makes this place stand out is the seating. There is lots of it outside the shop, inside the main room, and in a great small room in the back that is perfect for getting work done or conversing with friends in a more secluded location.

Been there two times in the same week. They never got my order wrong. The staff were friendly and outgoing. The service was quick on top of that. Cant find anything wrong here.

I had a terrible experience here and will therefore not be returning. I tried to invoke my consumer rights by insisting on the price displayed for the goods as opposed to the price which they wanted to charge me. The staff refused to do so and cursed me under their breath?? Shocking.

I am allergic to milk. And I always enjoy going to Vida because they don’t charge extra for Soy milk alternative. Unfortunately just being charged for almond milk without my permission really annoyes me!! You should have dairy alternatives available, and shouldn’t charge extra if you don’t have soy milk available! I don’t drink soy milk because of the taste!!

Doesnt have Snapscan or Zapper, which annoys me because the place gets busy and long card payments can hold people up.The other thing is that its difficult getting a good standard here, the first latte you buy can be great and yummy, then the next day it isnt as creamy or doesnt taste the same.. Which puts me off the place.

Vida provides consistently good coffee across all their stores. The Rondebosch store is quite a noisy active store though as it is right on a busy section of the main road. Dont go here if youre after a quiet coffee and a spot to read a book. Do go here if youre keen to watch all sorts of people go about their business.

The service is really good, the waiters are friendly and accommodating. They even made a drink for my pregnant wife on this when it was hot enough to cook an egg on the sidewalk.

Dont order the food. Ordered a chorizo and mozzarella croissant toasted; was horrible. Who toasts anything with lettuce on?! And its not the first time. Also ordered apple cinnamon muffin - rubber. Very bad. The coffee was surprisingly nice.

Not usually a fan of Vidas, but i was waiting outside the one in Rondebosch early this morning (6.25am), waiting for a colleague to pick me up and half contemplating a coffee if the Vida opened before he arrived (Google suggested that the opening time was 7am).While i was waiting a Vida employee came outside with a friendly smile and asked me why I was waiting outside.Now im sitting inside the warm cafe having a good coffee (5 stars for the service)

Very out in the open, literally has chairs on the pavement by the side of the road. My concern would be safety. Food is healthy though and drinks nice.

I really enjoyed coming here for work or studying. The hot chocolate was super tasty, and they give you a chocolate with your drink. There is wifi too!

As with all of the Vida stores I have been to , the staff are friendly and always happy. There can be a queue during the morning school run, but otherwise the wait is never long.

The Vida franchise doesnt disappoint and this one has nice couches and tables at the back to work on. Pity they close so early but the staff are great.

Its not just this particular store but Ive had terrible coffee from numerous Vida Caffes. It tastes like poorly made capsule coffee and not freshly made as I receive at some of my favorite Seattle stores.
