I had shattered my screen and my camera on a hiking trip. I went to the iStore in the waterfront. Replacing the screen was over R4000 but the camera needed all the insides replaced for approx the cost of a new iPhone XR. I was unhappy. Research on the internet showed that Amazon sold replacement camera lens for $8. I’m not comfortable with tech repairs so I went to iWantgadgets in sea point. Hamza was amazing at reviewing various options. In the end he was able to canabalize a screen and lens from I dead Xr. He replaced both on to my phone and called me to come get it. My total cost, including labor and a new screen protector was R3200. Ok , that’s not for nothing, but given the options, fantastic. Going forward, I would trust Hamza with any repair. He takes immense pride in his service and quality

Faheem assessed my Asus laptop, which was acting up. I wasnt able to get onto wifi, or even connect via a Lan cable, the system was also slow. He started the assessment immediately, and said hed get back to me later. He contacted me within hours and gave feedback. The issue was malware. He backed up all my files, reloaded windows and MS Office in my preferred language, with all my files back in place! I was able to fetch my PC the next day. As someone who works online, this rapid turnaround is especially important. Fast, efficient and very personable service. Good value and prices. Theyre the open till 10 pm, which makes dropping and collecting easy, even outside of business hours. The shop is beautifully presented, centrally located in Sea Point. Thank you Faheem! Enjoy the personal attention I receive when im getting any gadget/phone/laptop issue resolved. The store is always open as they work from 10to10 which helps when im running out of daylight and too many errands to run.
