We had a galvanized palisade fence and gate installed in October 2018. February 2019 (4 months later) submitted complaint and photos showing excessive rust. After numerous complaints Ricardo said it was his supplier and not his fault and did not take any responsibility. (We only dealt with Ricardo and not a 3rd party - this is his business that we dealt with)After sending mails/SMS to him again still no decency or even a response and still no resolution. Shocking product, workmanship and lack of service. Unacceptable that Ricardo, the owner, does not even care to sort this out. I DO NOT recommend his company to anyone!! ...... Or will he now do the right thing and resolve this issue??

Mr Hedger, as explained simply. I offered to add another guide rail after the gate was manufactured and galvanized with you. I offered this as a good gesture as your gate is perfectly manufactured without it... I wanted to go the extra mile. You agreed. I told you that i will galvanise spray the additional piece. You agreed and indicated : Dis reg Ricardo, los net n spaar blikkie spray by my dan touch ek dit self op...I returned to you home after your complaint as an appeasement, and your wife again stepped in and changed the story on your behalf while you were again not there to see... we dont want touch up galvanized spray for the additional piece... We want you to remove the entire job, chemically strip it and re-galvanise all the work, then do the whole job over again...Are you people serious?!I sent you the galvanized invoice and spec sheet as well as proof, plus the proof of the purchase of the new motor... I mean, who asks a contractor for the receipts of the material they bought after a quotation has been accepted, signed and paid for... Which i obliged anyway....This racist undermining must end. Your wife was on site daily to explain to us how to drill holes in a wall, to vacuum and sweep sand away from the gate track at an atomic level, how deep to dig our trenches etc, etc, etc, etc... It was the worst experienced of a pestering customer i have had the displeasure of doing work for in my life! She even stood on my mans head with the vacuum cleaner WHILE he was drilling...to catch any dust... Then my father made the terrible error if asking if he were allowed to use your toilet as he is 60 years old... He was advised to rather walk to the bush up the street... Who does that to another person!? Like there is a baas and we are the little hotnotjies who didnt know what we were doing?My best advise would be to take off your 19m of palisade fencing, then take it back to Advanced Galvanizing where i took it in the 1st place, then have someone else reinstall the work...I fulfilled my obligation as a contractor and the undersigned contract and you are looking for an unfair and irrational appeasement on one part of a project, for which you refused retribution and which did not form part of the quotation or payment and was offers initially in good faith.I wish you all the best...
