After getting 3 quotes to find a company that could redo the waterproofing of a 37 square meter balcony, we decided on Shield Waterproofing and Painting (SW&P). Their team was represented by Kevin who clearly knew what he was talking about from the very beginning. The 3 quotes were similar in value (SW&P came in at the middle), but it was their overall professionalism and knowledge on the topic which resulted in our decision to appoint them instead of the company with the lowest quote. We were not disappointed. It was a big job - all the old pavers, a layer of face-brick and screed had to be removed, then new screed and the new waterproofing needed to be laid. Following this, new pavers had to be laid and gutters re-installed. The finishing off i.e. eye for detail in repair work, cleaning the area, and repainting the walls meant that the end product looked better than the start. The job was done to the highest quality and standards. Kevin and his whole team (with special mention of Thomas), were a pleasure to work with, show pride in their work and have an excellent work ethic. I wont hesitate to use them again or recommend them to friends and family.
