What a pleasant experience! I received the warmest welcome and immediately felt so comfortable and at ease. Jace talked me through everything at first and then I had a look at what was available. I was amazed at all the beautiful gowns that she had. Its dresses that you see on Pinterest but dont find in usual bridal shops! I ended up not taking a dress in the end, but even long after Jace still followed up with me. I will be going back soon since I still havent found a dress. With the best experience, advice and super helpful with all the beautiful dresses that were amazing to try on. Jace is a wonderful person who loves making anyone feel good in their body and as a curvy bride it is hard to feel confident in a dress that is seen much prettier on a slimer bride. Where does one even begin to explain such a highlight and gem?Location:Conveniently situated a mere 3-5 minutes off of the N2 in Somerset West, ample parking in a secure private estate, super easy to find... grand formal waiting room in a well maintained beautiful heritage building.... the studio upstairs is just mwa👌 absolutely gorgeous!! Silk, satin, beautiful dried flowers and grasses, gold and glass. Absolutely gorgeous studio!Hosting:Hosting out the top drawer. Offered drinks on arrival-usually alcoholic drinks like champers, G&T etc, but it with being lockdown, it is orange juice, refreshing lemonade tea or cappuccinos were up for order. We (my one bridesmaid and I) were made to feel right at home and comfortable by Jace(lyn). While she made our drinks we were allowed to have a look at the ABSOLUTELY STUNNING dresses on the rails. Jace came back and I was invited to give a lil background info into who I am, how my future groom and I got to this point of being engaged, what our envisioned wedding is and most importantly... What the dream dress looks like.Dress fitting:Then the fun began. Jace walked right over to firstly pick out the exact same dress I had being eyeing (which in the end turned out to be THE ONE- my very own yes to the dress). Although within 15mins Id said yes to the dress, still 60 mins remained. Jace, Jods and I had much fun trying on other dresses (like the one attached) - and Jace even let me try some one that were totally not my style but were just ones that I was keen to try... Just for fun! It was an absolute blast! We laughed, we dreamed... It was the ultimate highlight of this wedding planning journey so far for me (followed with a Pajamas and Jam brunch-it was one of the best days of my life!!) all the dresses are so unique and so beautiful. And the prices-just wow wow wow!! Still gobsmacked that such perfection... All that time and the gorgeous materials that have gone into those masterpieces can be sold at such affordable prices.Their values/the business%At the core of the business is a passion for sustainability. Think:- recycling- repurposing- reuse- reduction of waste- sustainability of the South African local designers and therefore- sustainability & empowering of local South Africans, their careers and their livelihoods.From dried flowers to thinking as far as to what material the water is served in /poured out of. ❤️ It!!I could write so much more.
