The fabrics is very important, dress should not be uncoumfortable, because you will spend all your day in it... probably in the hot weater too. My dress was not heavy, soft and was very confortable, I was very happy with my choice, as I did not have any discomfort, wearing it on the wedding day! Value for money 100%. prices are different, but very reasonable. Each girl will find the dress, which will suit her budget.Also there are some little accesorieses like bags, earings and so on, so you can find most of the things you may need right in their boutique... its very convenient!Thank you once again for everything!! The consultants at Calegra go out of their way to please a bride to be. I had so much fun trying on dresses here. They also write you a very cute little welcome.Would recommend to any one who is looking for their dream wedding dress. They also have a ton of dresses to try on & can also let the designers customize dresses to your liking.

Calgera was the first bridal shop I went to and it was a lovely experience. I felt well taken care of and well listened to. They have some beautiful dresses!

I had the most fabulous fitting at Calegra Cape Town with the lovely assistants Jessica and Jenna who were there to offer up options based on what looked good and what i liked and also to help me in and out of those gorgeous garments. I did have a great experience visiting Calegra Bridal, I do however find their policy a little bit ruthless re making a deposit to secure your dress. Upon asking for the details of payment they sold a dress I asked for to someone else. Although it may seem like not a big deal I do feel like crying when I hear the name Calegra which for them might seem like an overreaction for me is a disastrous experience in searching for the dress I want for my once in a lifetime wedding. I do think that this is quite upsetting, as a bride-to-be is so excited about a dress she sets her heart on, only for it to be lost to due being slow with a deposit. I do thank Karen for offering to make a new dress of the same style. I do recommend their dresses for beauty but please do make sure your put a deposit down as soon as possible.

Hello all brides to be.I had an amazing morning with my mom and MOH, trying on wedding dresses with Lulu and Istene. Firstly formalities and some quick admin. Followed with a glass of bubbly in my hand, now thats how you want to start your day. This was included in standard fitting price. We walked through getting an idea of what dresses I would like and tried about 10-15 dresses I think :) Really nice experience and got a lot of good advice and also extra details to think about. Thanks Istene and Lulu for all your help and patience.

My experience at Calegra Bridal was fantastic. Firstly, they follow strict Covid-19 protocols making me feel safe at the appointment. The consultants were so professional and helpful. They didnt just put a dress on me and stand back, they gave constructive feedback, chose dresses that they knew would suit my body, allowed me to mix and match different styles and options, all the while making it a fun experience. I highly recommend that all brides give them a visit when choosing their gown.

My decision to buy my dress from Calgra bridal house was one I will never regret. From the moment I entered Calegra almost a year ago until the day I collected my beautiful gown with many visits in between I had only good experiences. The store is beautifully layed out with excellent natural light that allows you to look your best while fitting dresses. I was always the only person in the store and felt that I had the full attention of Karen and her team. There is a stunning collection of gowns to choose from with the advantage being that you are not limited to one designer - you can try on gowns in various styles from different designers until you find what works for you. This is something that really appealed to me as I didnt know exactly what I wanted and didnt want to chose a designer before I knew what was out there.All the dresses available are of excellent quality and are in very good condition. They were very accommodating with all of my alteration appointments and with changes in plans due to COVID. The store is very well located in Cape Town making access for all your visits very easy. Thank you Karen and team for making me feel & look like a princess!

I went to Calegra in Cape Town last year to find a wedding dress, and they had so many gorgeous dresses (it was so difficult to pick one!). Karen and her team made it the loveliest experience. They listened to what I want but guided me with what would suit my body, and I found the dress perfect for me. With every fitting they were so accomodating and were excited with me as I counted down the time our wedding. I would strongly recommend Calegra to any bride.
