This is a fun but serious club. No clicks, very friendly. I enjoyed playing bowls there. 2 Greens are good.

We had our team building here and enjoyed an afternoon of bowls. For most of the team this was a first time experience and the owner was helpful in explaining the technique to follow. The lawns are well kept as well. Drinks prices are great too! There is an area to braai but it would be best to confirm with the owner before doing so. Overall it was great fun for everyone and would recommend this club for a team building activity like bowls.

We visited Mowbray Bowling Club for Newbie Bowls our team-building day and it was fantastic! We had a great lunch, the drinks were inexpensive, and the vibe was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the bowling and will definitely be back.

What a fun day out as a sosial and even for stronger competition!

When I was invited to Mowbray bowling club for a social game of lawn bowls I jumped. Arranged by David Biggs from Beans Bus, a group of us arrived excited and eager to see what draws the elderly and young to a sport one would expect to be boring and flat. Again I was surprised at how fun it is to play a sport that although not physically intense it still delivers on the social aspect. The club itself is well maintained and neat, though it is evident members and funding is not at its strongest. There is a bar available which is well stocked and a kitchen serving coffees and pub grub as well. The greens are recovering well after the drought and certainly good enough to have a weekend social with some mates. Parking is secure and well manned. Try something different. All ages would enjoy a game of bowls, Im certainly going to make this more regular on my things to do on weekends.

Had great fun bowling. Staff are all friendly and very helpful. We had the spit braai and it was really delicious. Highly recommend it.

Great small club. Excellent competition between Mowbray BC and SWBC. Mowbray won last year and SW won in 2018. The feud continues: albeit a great friendship. Tx Mowbray, excellent hosts.

Outside grass is beautiful...there needs an improvement in the bar.

This is as expected , boring old bowls, but they did have braai facilities which is nice , only thing that would make it better is a better more secure parking lot , and road conditions it is so horrible for anyone not in an off road vehicle

A nice place to have a pint and watch a game on the tele. Otherwise if youre into Bowls the pitches are maintained well.
