Wizards is the perfect place for a board game enthusiast. It has every game you can think of and more, and on the off chance you have a specific game in mind that they dont stock theyll order it for you. The most helpful and knowledgeable staff you could possibly find. They are all very friendly and will give you a better idea of what you are buying than any online review. If you arent even sure board games are for you, give them a visit, theyll find you a game you cant stop playing. 6/5 stars

Well stocked shop with knowledgable staff!

A much anticipated visit to Wizards ended in disappointment when we found it closed at 16h30 yesterday.

I quickly went in to get some card sleeves for my Magic cards. The gentlemen was extremely helpful and very friendly. Their games and book selection is great but I did not have time to look at their prices. I just did a scan of the place and it looks really good.

There is just something about Wizards that will keep it as my go-to store for all my nerdy needs.I have been going there and meeting with their friendly staff that welcome me like family for some 15 years. Their desire to help you and provide the widest range of occult, gaming and other eclectic products makes them special and near unique within the community.

Phoned and it had the game I wanted. Arrived half an hour before it closed and it was closed.

Great place for boardgames and cards

The staff were knowledgable about their products offering personal insight vs Toys R Us where the best you can get is a shop assistant to read the back of the box (like I couldnt do that)

I love the staff. But thats probably because Ive been a customer for over 14 years because the atmosphere the store holds is unique. Im not into table top gaming, I play TCGs and what I can tell you is that they always have product for the specific game Im into (that I started playing here way back when begging my father for pocket money was the only way to get new cards). Always a pleasure to visit.

Hands down best boardgame shop Ive been to. Besides a big variety of really nice boardgames, the owner is enthousiastic and knowledgeable about pretty much every game there is and will help you out every which way he can to make sure you leave with a massive smile on your face and one or more boardgames for your collection. I came in wanting maybe one and eventualy came again and scored 3 boardgames that weve been playing for hours already!

An awesome shop and an excellent team with exceptional service. Anyone who is into tabletop gaming should do themselves the favor of going to this shop. If you live too far get a catalogue from them. They are great for ordering tabletop games.

Ive been visiting this store for years and outside of buying online they have a great selection of the latest advanced boardgames in-store.

Very good service with knowledge on most items in store. Would have loved to see some items at a great price as many of the items can be bought for less elsewhere. I would however go back there anytime and maybe even pay the premium for the good service and helpfulness!

Gamers paradise, my son has been buying his YuGiOh cards here every month for the last six years. Friendly staff and up to date cards. They also have weekly tournaments.

The oldest and likely greatest tabletop shop in Cape Town. Knowledgeable staff and a great selection of up to date boardgames make it a treat to go.Also for RPG gamers they have a variety of dice, character miniatures and sourcebooks for D&D and Pathfinder 1.
