This post is not about the present owners. rather to mention that this was the old rondebosch police stations build around 1880 and initially used as a cottage on the old rozendal wine estate. later the second storey was added - the proximity to the governors estate which also housed cabinet ministers in the sixties and seventies gave it increased status.
