Have no complaints with my stay at Wilton lodge the host was fantastic always a treat to speak to , great location to go into the city or down the coast with great choice of restaurants in walking distance. The accommodation was great for what we needed we were put in a room with private parking and which allowed us to come and go as we please rooms were clean with everything you need , the TV could have had dstv but its a small thing to look over. great breakfast every morning and very affordable highly recommend this lodge.

@Wilton Lodge you can be guaranteed to spend beautiful cape town sunny days with parrots screaming as if being killed, by the stunning clear blue pool there is a man playing terrible 80’s music loud enough so that he can hear it above his drilling and other power tools and come night time you dont need to go to Long Street just go to the backyard there is music pumping, screaming and shouting from large groups of people through the night. Yes this place is a lodge with so much more.

Well firstly it is such a beautiful place and it has such a awesome relaxing vibe but the only down fall is that the staff are not properly trained they speak to the paying long term tenants like they r dpgs the interfere in things that doesnt involve them I recently stayed there by a friend whoa been there a long time alraedy and I couldnt believe what was gouing on when I saw how the night shift manager came to knock on this friend of mines door at 11:35 pm to tell him that hes friend has to be out now cos its past 11 and not even 5 minutes later we just hear this shouting andthen somebody was gettin smacked and beat upit turns out the tenants in one of tge other rooms had friends over and they wer drinking got so drunk that they coused havok here from 11:32 till 1;33 an abd the night shif manager knew they wer here but didnt say a word to them about them needibg to leave and they woke up yhe whole lodge but he finds thr need to come anf reprimand us who no 1 cud even hear I mean he even.ended up phoning the police for the rowdy tenants so I love this place but I really do think the owner could have made much better staff choices its so sad to know that such a beautiful place is never going to reachits full pptential aslong as its been run by a bunch of ppl that dont have the right qaulificatipns thats behaviour actuallty makes a guest never wabt to come back

The staff were very friendly and accommodating however, there is a tenant on the property who had a party from early afternoon to the evening, bottles were being popped, crying baby, singing, drunk people, speeches being made- all this noise right outside my window. I complained with front desk who was drunk and having drinks with his friends outside the lodge. He moved me to another room to get away from the crowd and loud noise, however, the party then moved to the other side where I was now moved to. Having traveled and feeling jet lagged with very little sleep, this really was annoying. If you would like some peace and quiet- do not book at this lodge. Needless to say, I asked for a refund and left.

The place is nice but breakfast is horrible, if they can improve that part, otherwise all is good, the staff as well as the staff are very nice and welcoming

The staff make every effort to provide for a pleasant stay, they were great with check in and check out. Breakfast is creative, well presented and tasty, with outside seating. The selection is small but good. It is between the areas where the shops and restaurants are, but still within comfortable walking distance.Staff would start speaking loudly and dragging equipment at 7am, often shouting across the courtyard. This is unprofessional. They would continue to be loud all day until into the night, waking me up, keeping me awake and intruding into my relaxation and rest. This should be addressed by management.The studio room I had was a little odd, as the toilet and shower are in an alcove right off the bedroom, but has no door for privacy. This can be a tad awkward.The bed was clean and comfortable, however. Walls seem paper thin, so noise from outside travels too well.

If the right room is booked you definitely get value for your money. Staff are extremely helpful and go out of there way to assist. Guest cant help interact with each other as if living in a tiny neighbour hood. The owners son in law creates a nice relaxed feeling with the music around the pool area.

Wilton Lodge is by far the best guesthouse that Ive ever been to. With it being in the central part of Greenpoint, it gives its guests the rare opportunity the see many of Cape Towns attractions without much hassle. The staff are always friendly and are willing in assist you when needed. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and pleasant and exceeded my expectations. Wilton Lodge will certainly see me again.

Big rooms ,clean, polite and good choice for breakfast. Euro socket in the room,too. Best part here are people who work here. Rooms maybe need dash of modernisation. Nice,closed terrase for guests with tables and place for smokers. Caffe and tea can be maked in room,too. Vending machine for drinks in reception area 0-24 hours available,what is aditional plus.

This is our second year booked into Wilton Lodge for Cape Town ...what a pleasant experience...very proffesional and helpfull staff, good food, clean and pleasant rooms...a very safe and homely environment. Will definitly be back next year...only one place to go.

Stay was short notice but really cheap. They have a gate that requires a key to enter when you first come in. If there isnt anyone t the front desk and you dont have a key you might not be able to get in. Bathroom was very small. Didnt get a chance to try the complimentary breakfast. My room was by the hallway which was a bit awkward and they used really old fashion keys which made me question security.

On the plus side definitely deserves the location, the hotel is in a good location quite close to the center. Breakfast in the form of a buffet, very good although there is no special choice and variety. Clean rooms, however, very thin walls do not always allow you to sleep in peace and in addition, the bathroom in the rooms has no door only a curtain fabric which is very poor. The stay overall good service also good, but you could improve a few things.

We stayed 8 nights at the Wilton Lodge. The staff greeted us warmly and were always available to help. The area looks functional and friendly. The beds were quite comfortable and you could sleep well. To cope with the heat, there was a ceiling and a standing fan in the rooms. Otherwise you could cool off well in the small but nice pool. A stone grill is available for your own grilling. Additional activities can be planned and booked at the reception. The location of the Wilton Lodge is great. You are very quickly in the city center and on the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.The star deduction results from the shared bathroom, which was always clean and the rather monotonous, not very varied breakfast. The dishes that were offered were still good and tasted good.

Very nice staff, large rooms, very good breakfast with freshly made omelet.There are only a few rooms, creating a family environment.The property offers many opportunities to stay outside, if you do not want to explore the area.There is a good bus connection, so you can quickly reach Camps Bay or the Waterfront district.The property and the rooms are kept clean at all times.The only drawback: Rats roam the grounds in the evening and at night, which can not be prevented due to the large population in Cape Town.

Absolutely not recommended, there was nothing that would have lifted our spirits ...... no door to the toilet, old ingredients for breakfast, in the yard the Wäschrei next to the rooms etc. etc.
