The place was really cosy and well kept. The stuff were really friendly which included a number of overseas exchange students working there. Very welcoming and affordable.

Came for a weekend getaway and had a exceptional lodging experience. All the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Also the guests/lodgers have a harmonious relationship. The place is immaculate considering the fact that it is a backpackers tenancy. Great area to be, close to ample eateries and its also a walking distance from a major shopping centre, V&A Waterfront, and the captivating Green Point Stadium. Atlantic Point Backpackers is a fantabulous establishment to be at, whether it be long or short term! Thank you APB for giving me the time of my life🤙🏽👍🏽

Amazing, receptive staff, fantastic location in one of best suburbs in Cape Town. Just a walk from the VA waterfront - sea point and the city bowl are just a hop away on either side. The atmosphere is great, the communal facilities and vibe mean theres always a group meeting ans going to do something together! Drinks available at the bar too. Private room is spacious, clean - the ensuite option is definitely something to consider, and there are generous week and month discounts. Very highly recommended!! Happy Ill be staying for a while 😊

I just needed a place to rest my head, Im not picky or demanding however to be spoken to with so much disrespect by their admin guy called max was a line I had hoped would never be crossed especially as a paying guest.

My stay here has been amazing. I came to stay for around 2 weeks but because of the lockdown ended up staying over 6 months. The place became my home and the staff my family. Jéssica and Maourie are always helpful and around to sort out whatever needs to be done. Rati and Gaylord are also amazing and caring. They made my days much better in this place theat I love that is cape Town. I have no doubt where Ill stay when I vome back soon.

I had an amazing time at Atlantic Point Backpackers.First, I couldnt believe a location like this in Cape Town could be ridiculously cheap (yes, cheap in price).Based on reviews and my Egyptian friends recommendation, I booked.I slept there for 3 nights and it was nothing short of amazing. The breakfast is served at the right time and pretty delicious.If you want to meet other travellers and dont want to just seclude yourself in an hotel, I recommend Atlantic Point Backpackers.Staff are courteous and yes, rooms are squeaky clean too.Superb!

Good location, 20 minute walk to the waterfront. Lots of local shops and restaurants. Great breakfast. Had a private room with private bath. Nice staff and friendly people. Good value.

Atlantic Point Backpackers was the ultimate place to stay at Cape Town, for 2 main reasons:1. Kim - an exhilarating vibrant head desk assistant that added many many smiles to my journey, some of them were actually genuine!2. Zita - Always reminded me of the quality olive oil brand from Israel, both in her smooth customer care, and eyes. Shes a beer pong specialist, able to hit 2 cups with 1 ball.The bed, common room, kitchen, shower and breakfast were also a nice touch!

Simply one of the best backpackers to stay at when you in Cape Town. You will make friends for life and create memories that will last a lifetime. The interior is quirky, modern and super trendy. It is a home away from home!! The service is excellent and this team definitely goes the extra mile for their visitors!

I enjoyed my stay at APB. It is super convenient to everything. V&A Waterfront is within walking distance as is the Hop On, Hop Off bus. The MyCiTi bus is like a block away. Walking distance to several restaurants, the grocery store and drop off laundry. It’s a fun place. The staff and volunteers are great. It’s a really good vibe. It’s definitely a great place for meeting people and socializing. They plan cool official and unofficial outings. They have a Braii on Thursday nights and quite a few people participated while I was there. They are really helpful with finding you tours. Housekeepers clean the rooms daily. Breakfast served daily. Probably about the usual for most hostels but it’s a great gesture, money saver and totally convenient. I know each group is different but even the revolving groups that was there for the couple of weeks I was there was cool. Physically, it’s not the most modern but it is clean which is most important. I stayed in garden room which was a four bedroom right outside the pool. I loved it because it wasn’t bunk beds. My only complaint is the mosquitoes. They ate me up despite sleeping in repellent every night. I would probably suggest getting/bringing a mosquito net. Side note: Mr Price Home down the street sells them. My challenge was figuring out how to hang it. I think the location of my room made us more susceptible and it doesn’t help that I’m a sweater. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay and met some really great friends.

Of the places I stayed with during my world trip definitely the best hostel! I enjoyed the stay and they people living and especially working there are super nice! So a total thumbs up and a recommendation.

If youre in Cape Town this is the hostel to stay at! Its a five minute walk to the waterfront, they offer amazing tours and the staff and interns are ever so helpful: I particularly owe so much thanks to Stasia who made me feel so at home during my stay in Cape Town! She really tried to get to know all the guests and really encouraged group activities to explore Cape Town together. She was always inviting, welcoming and friendly. She is a great worker and honestly gives this hostel a good name!! I will recommend this place with hopes that she will still be working there. Thank you!!!

I had the most wonderful moments at this place :) The entire hostel is entirely spotless and neat and has a very trendy vibe. I stayed in a private room and it was very airy and clean, with a comfortable bed and nice big shower. Im not sure what the dorms are like but I know its kept clean on a daily basis by the cleaning staff. You can watch a film upstairs in the loft converted into a computer/movie room if there isnt a game on :) The hostel is close to the main road that has restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and is also in walking distance of a big myciti bus station. Here you can take the bus to the V&A Waterfront or the civic center. So the location is very convenient and the hostel itself is great.

I had a wonderful time here at atlantic point backpackers. my dorm was clean and i had cool roommates, the breakfast (which is included) was good and also the location is great. the staff was very friendly and i will miss the time i spent here! thank you!

Nice area and super friendly people around. Everything was clean and tidy. Sadly it is none of the party hostels. In the evenings nothing really happened at the bar. But besides that they offer during the days different hikes and a braai night, which was nice.

This is a good place for backpackers and it is very well run. The best part it is safe.

Friendly helpful staff , plenty of off-street parking and free breakfast! The place is really nice and well maintained regularly, with daily events organised and a group chat to keep you in the loop. James was a legend in helping me track down good waves. Will be back for sure

Great place! One of the most convenient things is codes on the doors so you dont need to carry around keys with you. They have free parking, a bar, a kitchen, and free breakfast. Its a pretty nice place, with a small pool, cute decorations, and good water pressure. The check-in people are pretty nice, and were helpful in most things. Pretty clean for a hostel, we were there for two nights in an ensuite private room, and they even serviced the room after the first night (rare for a hostel).

Rooms are very clean, safe and got heaters and fans. Theres a very good Wi-Fi as well, theres also breakfast. I should not forget to mention the friendly staff who are always ready to help. Theres a bar, a pool table and computers to use incase you need to use one. I like the TV room with a skylight, we had a really nice time there. Eating restaurants are in a walking distance and V & A Waterfront and Cape Town Stadiums are also not far.

Great staff, super clean, calm and quiet at night. They also host several events and tour. A great hostel for older crowd 25-35yo.

Great location about 10 mins walk to the Waterfront, good price for a dorm or a nice private room. Very well ran hostel with a bar and friendly staff/guests, they have planned activities and free breakfast. Good for social people that want to meet fellow travelers since Im told its not safe to walk around at night, but they do have Uber available.

Its a very nice hostel, lovely people. Quite usually with some activities. I would strongly recommend it if you like to meet new friends and travelling under budget..

I have stayed at this great location for three nights and met really interesting people. The hostel is clean, perfectly located and spreads positive energy.However one practise of the business owner I find highly doubtful are the policy of employment, which is why I subtract three stars. Instead of staffing the front-desk with local employees, it is completely(!) staffed with young interns across the globe. No question, they are friendly, helpful and do their best. But maximizing the profit as a business owner by saving cost of employing interns is really poor practice and unprofessional. Especially considering that this place is not among the cheapest hostels in CPT!

Great place: nice location (very close to Waterfront), great staff, clean commodities (rooms, kitchen, bar, living room, terrace). This hostel offers many trips and activities (hiking trips, cage diving with white sharks, wine road, kayak, ...). Definitely a great stay with Atlantic Point!

They are very friendly, the hostel is close to one Asian restaurant and another Burger restaurant...it is 8 minutes away walking to the waterfront that is 100x100 recommendable to visit. I should come again!

Its one of the back packers in cape town,lots of activities for locals and tourists. These are some of the tours you can do, on monday there is Cape Peninsula tour, wine tour on Tuesdays and Mzolis Township Party every Sunday......Local is Lekker👌.
