The place was in a good location in Cape Town. It was an easy walk to many places. Friendly staff, and a good room and pool with amenities thought out. While I was there was an issue with the internet due to power outage but that was fixed and I would still rate the place 5 star.

Great place, a few minutes walk to the waterfront. The owners are very helpful, making everything for your stay to be perfect. The room is cozy, with wifi, air and TV. Good breakfast as well.

What a jewel hiding in a renown suburb like Greenpoint! Very relaxed atmosphere, great people and nice food in an old Victorian style house making your stay something to remember. They are within walking distance from the V&A Waterfront, or hop on an Uber! This is my home near the Waterfront!

The 4onVarneys Guesthouse is very centrally located in Cape Town and has 6 rooms on 3 floors. It is run by two nice gentlemen and was inhabited by business travelers and tourists when we were there. Everything is very clean and very inviting. A classic old house but renovated inside and very modern.The location is really good in Cape Town. You can walk to the waterfront with a good feeling from there (approx. 20 minutes). From there it is possible to take boat tours etc. The house is quietly located on a side street. A liquor store and a Spar supermarket, where you can get everything you need, are just a 2-minute walk away. Table Mountain takes about 15-20 minutes by car. Also about 20 minutes to the airport.A parking lot can be used (2 parking spaces on the property with a ROlltor).The rooms we saw were nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable. Sockets for all nationalities are available, the WLAN is fast, the bathrooms are extremely modern. A small refrigerator is available as well as the corner for coffee and tea.We had one of the attic rooms. This became very hot even when the outside temperature was below 30 ° and you could not stand it without it during the day or at night. Unfortunately, the small windows did not generate much draft. So better look for a room on the ground floor or first floor.The service was really good. The two hosts were friendly and helpful. Always available for questions, answered emails quickly and enabled us to have breakfast a little earlier.Breakfast was good too. Fresh croissons and rolls (sometimes no toast in South Africa);) with jam, cornflakes, fruit, juices, yogurt and coffee. You wont find any ice cream here. Depending on the weather, you can have breakfast in the living area on the ground floor or in front of the house on the walled terrace.

Gladly again, nice and friendly and accommodating. Supermarket is just around the corner. Waterfront is no 5min away by car. Bathroom is clean and the beds are ok.

The accommodation is located in a very good area, central and with access to the main tourist attractions of the city. The rooms are spacious and cozy, inside a period mansion.
