What a great experience I had at this salon. The staff is so friendly and the quality of the work very professional. Will recommend this salon.

Went for a full body Stone massage on Saturday the 25th Sep, HORRIBLE experience! The lady was in a hurry to finish, was done in under 40mins for a 1hr massage, didn’t want to use the stones but eventually decided to use them, used a dirty cloth to wipe off the oil from my body, room was too dark and oil all over the floor. Rushed home to take a shower real quick!

First time getting my nails done at the store. I complained that it was painful, but wasnt listened to and was told that its normal. I felt like the lady was being too rough on my hands as though she was pressed for time but the store was empty. Even felt as if my skin was going to be ripped off at one point. My hands are still inflamed, hence why Im unimpressed. For a first experience, it was an unpleasant and painful one.

Definitely my new go-to place for getting my brows done. Lovely service.

I went for a lite sorbet facial and was dissatisfied with the service. On arrival I was asked to fill out a form indication all about my skin and skincare. I dont think this form was even looked at by any of the staff members. The lady who was giving me the treatment was extremely rough on my skin when applying product and used no extraction tools, but only her fingers. Lots of product got in my hair, even though a hairnet was used. It felt like she was in a rush and wanted to get done as soon as possible. When putting toner on my skin, she put too much on the cotton pad and therefore product got in my eyes.Small things like this leave a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be back.

Possibly the worst Sorbet. Every time I go there, I am unsatisfied with their service. Unprofessional staff bickering. Nail technician complained the whole time whilst doing a SOAK OFF.

Let me start off with saying that my nails look great. The lady, although rather unfriendly and quite rude, did a fabulous job however I did have to tell her to stop filing down my nail beds as it was incredibly painful and very clear that my previous gel set was completely off. Apart from this they overcharged me by R60- I only saw the slip when I got home so I am pretty annoyed- I know I should of looked before I left but in all honesty i shouldn’t of had to. I know, R60 is not the end of the world but the Sorbet experience is so pricey on its own that I feel as though the it should be flawless and incredibly good.

Why employ staff to thread when they lack the confidence and skill to do the job? Customers are paying! Surely the manager of this store can sort this? Disappointed and won’t be back. Thumbs down to Sorbet Waterfront.

Staff is nice and friendly ,I had a mani and pedi done but I’m not happy at all.My heels was still rough I had to finish my feet myself at home and the gel polish on my nails is lifting the same day.I’m not impressed at all .Definitely not worth the price, thats my honest opinion I would never recommend them.

Today was not our first visit to Sorbet Waterfront but unfortunately again we were dissatisfied to a point where i lost half my eyebrow, and the environment was once again noisy and consultants totally confused.I had to once again waste my time, energy as well as my money to go to another waxing salon.

Staff are not friendly.Some of them sit on the couches, chewing gum, listening to music on their phones, getting there nails done by other staff members. Very unprofessional. Especially situated at the waterfront.I didnt feel like a guest. I felt like an imposition for the staff. The only friendly person was the receptionist called Liam.

Good COVID protocols, so felt safe and able to enjoy my pamper, thanks Sorbet

Unfortunately the worst manicure I have had at a Sorbet store. I could have honestly painted my own nails and done a much better job. Im very sorry to say it, because the staff were rather sweet, but I will not be going back to the waterfront Sorbet. Nails look aweful.

There service is unacceptable as they have a clear double booking system. Tonight I was left unattended whilst 2 technicians worked on one customer, because she is a regular. I mentioned to the reception that I am not happy and was told that I should leave the product on my nails to soak as I was there for a soak off. I was told that it should remain for 2 more minutes. I gave them 6 minutes. I could peel off the remainder of the product myself. If I wanted to sit with acetone on my finger nails for 25 minutes I could have done so at home. I have been a returning customer who not only booked treatments but bought product from Sorbet for some time. Never again. If I could give a poop emoji instead of a 1 star I would.

I enjoyed the drink but my nails were done quite terribly. The colour was not applied properly and had patches close to the cuticles. I did bio sculpture and had to make a different booking elsewhere to have it removed and redone. 😫😩☹️

My girlfriend went there Yesterday and paid for a service. They deducted R5000 more than what the service cost by mistake and she immediately tried to reverse the deduction. She was told that they do not have a service to reverse this and they will EFT her the money. She has still not received the money and this is in the middle of season a day before Christmas. She spoke to Liam and another lady twice after and still has not received it. When will this be resolved? This is absolutely unacceptable as this money is part of het holiday funds. Terrible service and needs to be resolved ASAP!!!

I went to Sorbet to do my Eyelashes last week and I asked for the Volume one. The lady who was taking care of me told me that she was putting the volume one, but she was actually fixing the classic one. Another employee confirmed that it was definitely the classic one!She put so much glue on my eyelashes that I was feeling dizzy .She was hurting me while trying to put on the eyelashes. The final results was that she left many gaps and wrongly used the glue as my eyelashes were stuck together.After that they offered me a free appointment to correct my eyelashes. It was with another employee who knew very well how to do it, but she could not repair what has been done previously.It’s not acceptable to let people who don’t know what they are doing to touch the eyes of their clients. I will never come back there I’ve been traumatized!

I had a terrible experience. The atmosphere is cold. At one point I felt so insecure and subconscious because they are so impatient with people. There is just a general lack of understanding, kindness and people skills. I was already PMSing and usually the nail salon is where I go to release a little. My cuticles even looked the same as when I had arrived. I am definitely sticking to the branch at Garden Centre on the Upper Level.

I had a pedicure by Janet that i am still thinking about a month later. This salon was clean and the service was of high quality and service was prompt.

Staff very friendly. Getting very busy, appointment well in advance essential. Sometimes the layout is a little impersonal, chairs close and open to public view. Good value and most of the pedicurists are very efficient. Vinilux worth the additional cost. Pedicure lasts at least one month.

Nails well done. Was able to get appointment same day. However, not well ventilated and was basically hotboxed in there with all the toxic fumes & no aircon

Had acrylic infills on a set I had done 3 weeks ago in the UK. I also had gellish polish on my fingers & toes and they are perfect! I couldnt be more pleased. The technician was bright, friendly and meticulous. I could not recommend more highly!... I went back for infills and two repairs and saw another technician... Ive been back twice since for the nails to be fixed. They all lifted off from my finger nails. I phoned head office to complain as I couldnt get through to the shop. I got an appointment after work the same day with my original technician for a brand new set of nails. It was rectified free of charge but its taken up a lot of time. My advice is book with Yolisa she is the best technician in the shop. Anyone else I would not recommend. But she is brilliant and has restored my nails to a brilliant shape and colour & quite rightly no pain. I wont get them done again until Im back in the UK. Remember only Yolisa - a gem and they are lucky to have her.

We booked an appointment which we were told had been confirmed. We wasted 4 hours of our afternoon to wait for our appointment. When we went to the place, theyve told us our appointment was not booked and that it could not happen because they didnt have enough resources. They also said they tried to contact us, but the person had put down the wrong number. They did not try to fit us in at all and did not apologize for the inconvenience.
