I received an eyebrow wax from Chante yesterday. 24 hours later my eyelids are still immensely swollen, inflamed and extremely red. They’re so sensitive I’m unable to touch them. I’ve received multiple eyebrow waxes from other beauty salons and this has never happened before. I’m highly disappointed and I sincerely hope the scarring will not cause permanent damage.

I selected the acrylic tip with gel polish treatment which is listed as R520. Once I had selected the treatment, a staff member gave me a list of shape options to choose from. The staff member did not mention that any of the shapes listed would be at an additional cost nor did the pamphlet provided say anything regarding that. Therefore, I was under the impression that the shape I had chosen (from a list of options given to me by staff) was all inclusive in the R520 for the treatment. Once I was done with the treatment and paying, I was surprised to be told I was actually being charged R670. When I enquired with the staff member why the price was different she told me it was because of the shape I had chosen.I feel quite disappointed as I am someone newer to the area and went in quite excited to find (what I thought was) a good place near me to make my regular spot to get my various treatments. However I left feeling a little cheated, uncomfortable and certain that I am unlikely to ever return.

The salon is small, but clean and the technicians are all qualified, some in multiple fields. They do a full range of nail services, and also massages, manicures, pedicures, lash extensions, etc.I regularly have my nails done there. You can specify if you have a technician you like, or, like me, give everyone a shot.Tipping is not required, but I feel that a good job deserves a token of appreciation.They have wonderfully uplifting messages on a loop on various places on the wall. Not only do you look better when leaving, you feel inspired too.

Although I live in Zim, Dream Nails and Eben in particular, is still my go to nail salon in Cape Town. It is also super easy for me to get an appointment as I can whats app the manager directly. I never leave feeling like I have paid for a lousy service

Friendly service but quality very poor quality work. My mothers first experience getting her nails done was the highlight of her day but I was left a bit disappointed. Reasonable pricing but not worth the buck you spend. Gel nails already chipping after one day 😕

Had another pedicure done by Getrude, once again i was blown away! The service was fantastic and the staff were of course friendly as always. I also had The organic shop Mango & sugar body scrub and Moroccan orange body soufflé tested on my hands which left my hands smooth, moisturised, smelling absolutely amazing and feeling great with no oily feeling afterwards. Will definitely be back! Never felt so special. Thank you for the amazing service and making it worth every penny!

The service was fine, friendly staff and there was constant contact with me to make sure I know what time my appointment will be and if there are any changes.. I had to tweeze out glue from my eyes when I got home after getting the classic set of eyelash extentions. On day 3 my lashes started falling out in clumps, meaning many mink lashes was attached to one of my own lashes... Not sure what type of adhesive was used.. . It should not fall out so soon, though it still looks OK for now. I know now what I want and what to suggest if I do make an appointment again for eyelash extensions.. Thank you for the attempt.

My nails looks good but she file my cuticles very hard my hands was open and sore for 4 days

I booked an appointment to get my nails done. I took the initiative to call the day of the appointment only for them to figure out that the woman who was meant to do my nails would not be there and there was no space for me. They then proceeded to try book me on Christmas Eve... who gets their nails done on Christmas Eve at 6pm???? If I hadn’t called to confirm I would have arrived at dream nails for nothing.I will be going to sorbet from now on thank you. At least they are organized enough to book properly. For the money these nail salons charge I expect better service.

The staff at Dream Nails Cape Gate is fantastic. They show much interest in the clients and make conversation so the vibe is chilled while youre getting pampered. 10/10

Really happy with my nails and the attention to detail by nail technician Eben, however, extremely disappointed with the costumer service. I called in for the 30% Monday discount and was vocal about what I was to have done. To my surprise at point of payment, because I didnt do the tips, the discount wasnt honoured. This is the kind of thing that separates your brand from others. Very disappointed.

So last week Sartuday I made a last minute booking with Dream Nails and was so happy they could slot me in... Now it makes sense why they had the slot. I did a gelish nail polish and my nails were chipped by Monday... Not even a week later after paying R260 I just want to cry...

I had a lash extension done, and couldnt be happier! The staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend them.

Will likely not return to do my nails again, maybe something else. Not 100% Sattisfied and they changed my price half way through doing my nails with an extra R40 and I did not change from what I wanted to do in the beginning.

The girl who did my nails was very friendly, she offered to do my nails when unfriendly receptionist had already told me that they fully booked .Unfortunately for her I was disappointed with the end product.I feel the worked done is not worth the price.

First approach entering dream nails I was not impressed... Then I had a gelish polish done and the work was pathetic nails werent filed properly cuticles were on fire and painful... Customer service from the therapist point was horrible no smile, no sense of friendliness... Was not impressed... My nails were half done as a few of them did not have a top coat on... Not again.

The receptionist is terrible, I went there twice. Poor service, the 1st time I entered I just stood at the desk the receptionist left to look at something or other a few feet away. She then gave me and didnt acknowledge me at all so I left 3mins later I left. The nail techs tried to get me to wait as I left
