Lovely, serene environment with a good selection of treatments. The therapists gave good facials & I added a pedicure as extra treatment (R200). The massages were supposed to be relaxing, but felt a bit more like physio (lots of kneading of muscles). The back scrub was literally a 5 minute application & scrub. The Wikideal was valued @ R690 for 2 people, so was worth it. Anything more than that would be ludicrous

Theres power in beautiful skin...Aurora and especially my beautiful therapist makes my experiences surpassing all expectations. Jessica has always showed me how important I am. In fact the whole business interacts with me and other clients in a friendly- helpful and positive way. So let me give you some insight on my skin journey so far. I never left home without my plaster ( Foundation).. I had bad pigmentation, that left me with zero confidence. My skin has taken a 360 degree turnaround, or at least for me. I have gained confidence m. I made an appointment with Jessica, and the rest is history. My skin looks and feels instantly refreshed. I am on Lamelle Pigmentation range, specifically formulated to protect skin with hyperpigmentation. My skin has improved remarkably. Nice set up but as for the massages, it was very disappointing.i came in hoping to be a bit relieved of stress but instead left with shoulder pain.didnt really feel like a massage, made quite the noise moving around, they didnt really use their fingers and press on our bodies instead theyjust rubbed oil over with their forearms.really disappointed. our bodies doesnt feel any different.

The therapists are friendly and good at what they do. Our package included snacks which I guess served the purpose but as a therapist with a background in 5star hotel and spa, I know they can do better (maybe seasonal fruits). Great ambience, relaxed atmosphere, not a hint of any stuck up or snobbish behaviour, which can be common in an environment like this. This place is great! Ill definitely recommend it, and will go back.

I went for the pregnancy massage at 34 weeks pregnant. It was a very relaxing experience, well worth the wait.

The experience I have had at Aurora Spa, was dissatisfying. The environment is clean and refreshing, but unfortunately when it came to the physical massage, it lacked. The massage therapist seemed inexperienced and distracted when she was performing the massage. Also, they did not stick to the full time that was paid for. The treatment was supposed to last 100min, but only had about 70mins max.Response:Please allow yourself to take accountability for your shortfalls. It is also unprofessional to falsely discredit consumers. When we left your premises, nobody checked on us. Most people go to a spa to relax and revitalize, so it is even more sad when I have to rate you so poorly.As a consumer, I am alerting you to your shortfalls, for your own benefit. The onus is on you as a business to apologize and rectify your mistakes, instead of blaming customers that seeked to support your business. I also saw that there is a common denominator, especially on Facebook, that when customers give you a low review or complaint, that the fault then gets shifted on to them. It is never a good idea to alienate, insult and victim-shame your client base .

I had a good time, my therapist was great, very friendly and polite, the place is beautiful too. The only thing I was not happy with is the condition of your towels, they are warn-out, you need to change them.

Super impressed with this place. Online booking is a breeze... quality of treatments is very good, ambience is super relaxing. Price and quality are very well balanced. Plus they have Lamelle products which is the super plus for me. Will keep coming back for more treatments. The one feedback for improvement I can give is to perhaps make the website a bit more modern just like the actual spa (which has great modern facilities). The website looks a bit outdated which makes you believe you will go to an outdated place... but is not the case. :)

I bought the Luxury Couples Spa Experience package. On arrival we had to stand and fill in a form as the facility was full and there were no seating available. We were not offered welcome drinks as advertised eitherOur appointment was scheduled for 12pm in which we arrived 10 minutes early. we had to wait 40 minutes before being escorted to our treatment room.The treatment lasted no longer than 70 minutes to which we were promised 100 minute treatment timeWe were not offered the couples sensory tea experience nor the selection of tasty treats as advertised for the package. We were given an option of only juice or water.This was my first and last time visiting this spa

Hi there. Could you have bigger towels in the treatment rooms? I went for a full body massage and the towel was so small, could barely cover me while the therapist gave me a massage. Would also be great if the treatment rooms didnt have so much natural light coming through and if the rooms were a bit warmer. Other than that the massage and therapist was good.

We did not get the best experience due to short staff although management did offer us alternative treatments which was good we were just disappointed in not getting what we went for. All I can is Wow!!! When I first entered the spa I noticed how aesthetically pleasing it is. The treatments that I had were a full body massage, mini facial and back scrub. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep very quickly. My therapist, Sanele, was outstanding. She made me feel like royalty! Everything was perfect, even the coffee/tea station.I would, however, recommend that the receptionist take a genuine interest in their clients. She came across as a bit cold and fake. Perhaps she was having a bad day (seeing that its loadshedding). Other than that it was a wonderful experience and Ill be returning soon.

The treatment was great. But when we got there it was dark inside, no electricity and no one told us what is going on, or ask us if we okay to continue with our booking or we want to reschedule. Secondly, in a room where we had our massages it was extremely cold because there was no electricity. When you have to take off your clothes there are no Spa gowns or slip ons offered to wear as the floor was cold as well. Lastly, the linen on the bed we had our massage done was dirty with make-up on, I mean they should have put on a sheet on top of that mattress covering if they saw its dirty.I dont know how to reply to this but thought I should edit. Which receptionist told us that there is no electricity? Because the receptionist that was there just greeted us and we sat down and another therapist attended to us to complete the forms and she said nothing about electricity failure. We asked the therapist ourselves when we were in the room why is it dark? And that it was cold and they had to cover us with a blanket because they said we will not enjoy the treatment if we are feeling cold. Why must one ask instead of being offered for slip ons when you are expected to take off your shoes in a cold room? I would like to send you photos of your dirty linen that was not covered up. Please let me know where I should send this.
