Employees need customer service training. They do not greet their customers and do not offer help. Only when you approach them for help then do they assist you. They create an atmosphere as if you do not exist which makes you not want to approach them for help. I have been been purchasing from Hands Down for the past 4 years and I can say the customer service experience is always the same👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼. Products are not too bad for the price hence a 3/5, but for service 1/5 definitely.

Love going here as the staff is so helpful. The other thing that is helpful is being able to browse around. The new location in Maitland is great as i live so close. Great product range!

Its an amazing place for professional beauty products. Students get 50% (ish) discount which is awesome for students who cant afford the full price (I definitely fall into this category haha)

Ive supported this store for many years through the changes from a store that caters for professionals only to open to the public.I popped in last week, greeted the ladies behind the desk collected my trolley and was asked to leave my handbag at the desk. Never have I been so insulted. Shopping bags Ill certainly leave at the entrance but my personal hand bag....!!!!

I am very disappointed with the treatment I have received from Hands Down. I have been burnt twice. Firstly I bought a shampoo that was a defective product, they did not give me a refund. Then I bought a box of gloves for my salon and they charged me full price even though I have a salon. They said it is a PPE product, I am not sure why as Salons used this before lock down. Dont you think that Salons deserve a discount due to the struggle that they face due to the pandemic.?

Staff are always friendly.... they dont have a phone number!! You have to phone a central number and then they have to get back to you.... Bizarre and irritating!

We have been ordering from Hands Down for about a year, we have always collected our stock from their office. This last order we placed and paid for delivery. We explicitly said several times that we needed the stock delivered the same day, Tracy said that this would be possible. We begged for a bout 3 hours to get an invoice to make payment and when we eventually got it, made payment right away. The stock has still not been delivered two days later!!!!!! We run events and had to order the same stock elsewhere and pay for it twice thanks to bad service.The staff at Hands Down do not seem concerned with retaining customers or saving an ongoing customer relationship. Their reason for the promise being broken is Or Policy. Had we known that you would not deliver as promised, we would have sent our courier. I can only hope that someone in management sees this post and gets involved to compensate us for the frustration caused by this experience.
